This game isn't for everyone. Hell I'd say it's not even a great game. But if you love dungeon crawlers with fun builds, skill required, and animu girls then this is a game for you.
The game was fun even in 2024 if you love the story of SAO. Multiplayer is dead and no player found, used only for implementation. Some times the combat is good but there are changes for it to become clunky. The controller layout, the official one is broken and cannot be used to give commands to party but, there is one that solves this problem.
I have only floor 100th to beat and to finish the main story but I'll pass.
fun for sao fans
Nice SAO game. A lot of mechanics, sometimes grindy, but still cool game. You really shouldn't listen to negative reviews. IMO definitely worth it, but only when on sale
this game is so cool i can become like kirito beater and like do starburst stream and fight all the bad guys and stuff just like the anime so cool very good game
If you are a fan of the anime, then this game is for you. Combat is smooth and the plot is btter.
For whatever reason makes me think of the ps2 era in terms of how it plays.

Not Worth It Unless You're a Hardcore Fan
I had high hopes for this game, but unfortunately, it fell short in almost every way. The graphics and models feel outdated and rough around the edges, like something out of a decade-old game. As for the gameplay, it’s just not engaging—there’s little to no replay value, and the mechanics feel clunky and uninspired.
Honestly, it feels like the developers were banking on nostalgia rather than delivering a solid gaming experience. If you’re not a die-hard fan of the series, I’d strongly advise against buying this. Save your money for something that’s actually fun to play.
