Sniper Elite V2

Constantly freezes in the game and doesn't save your progress with the collectables after reloading the game.

I entered the Sniper Elite game series at game 5 however, I enjoyed that so much I purchased the entire series. While it is an older game the missions are a good challenge and enjoyable.

Fun but def not a stealth game

Old-school game where you are a sniper in Berlin towards the end of World War II. You are an American, dropped into Berlin. Your mission is to stop the Soviets from gaining German rocket secrets. So you get to shoot Nazis, Soviets and any others that threaten your cover. Cool enough. Note: You get this title by buying the remastered version.

Sniper Elite V2 succeeds brilliantly at what it aims to do: make methodical killing entertaining. I'm sure 99% of people don't read the reviews. So you may not know that Naruto can be a bit harsh sometimes. You may not know this, but Naruto also grew up without a father. In fact, he never met either of his parents and never had any friends.

The entire SE series is great!

For some reason there is no sound after the intro, the intro has sound, but the rest of the game hasn't

Must be a very ear;y development because Elite Sniper is a really good game otherwise. This one , V2 , is a frustrating mess. the controls are wack and your path is blocked in certain directions for no apparent reason, the game has a lazy linear feel unlike later Elite Sniper games. I am deleting this one as I don't have the patience to fiddle with the control interface .

Fun WWII sniping

Absolutely brilliant albeit short. Builds on the first one. I love this series

What a fun sniper game set in the backdrop of WWII. The player visits several locations in Europe preceding the allied invasion. This game delivers innovative game play and a high-quality experience that parallels other WWII action games, focusing on the sniper experience. A big leap from the original Sniper Elite game.

USSR, Nazis; he will fight everyone

The bad level design killed it for me. Its hard to be stealthy when the only way forward is through an open street riddled with enemy units and a sniper backing them up, making any sort of stealth gameplay impossible as you'll get spotted immediately

Yet more Hackers. you could have a team of 5 spread around the map but yet one grenade kills your whole team.

You don't know what difficulty in a video game is unless you've killed the elite Russian sniper team on Sniper Elite difficulty

I enjoy first person shooter games and Sniper Elite 2 is perfect for me.

Also download this game and continue with Sniper Elite 3, 4. and 5 and look for all extras to each game to expand each game one by one and also upon each download don't forget to restart your computer. Also check the files on each game to enhance each game.

Shooting nazis with bullet time, oh yeah!

Definitely recommended if what you like about shooters is killing from a distance, as well as stealth. As if that were not enough, if we hit a vital point, this will trigger the activation of the kill cam, which consists of tracking the bullet until it hits, showing us in a somewhat gory way how we destroy our rival. In addition to this, we will learn to place friction bombs or traps to cover our backs in case we are discovered and ambushed. In short, a great game that is totally recommended, and even more so if you like things from the Second World War.

Have previously played. Right amount of silent movement and loud action. Requires patience on the part of the player to find the right moment to act at times. Very re-playable

This game has some great moments but overall is a 5/10 (or less) because of the masses of rubbish that are also included. The level design is absolutely terrible in most levels, as you'd expect from a sniping game to be given wide spaces to be able to choose good positions to snipe from, or at least vantage points. In most of the levels neither of these are included as you are forced down small corridors, and along paths that make sniping completely detrimental in every way. The spawns of the enemies are also borked, as you try to make a plan and tag in your mind every enemy but then twenty more will keep spawning out of nowhere in places you already checked, making every level a game of trial and error as you see which random place snipers will spawn in next and sometimes one-shot kill you from nowhere. Don't bother with this game, I'm on the last level and only continuing because I invested so much time already. Start with another game in the series instead of this.

Still good and not long so it is not overstay its welcome. But sadly stealth part is underdeveloped. You can just rambo it all the way.

it was good, probably the most trap-intensive sniper elite 2 game, very difficult to play stealthy, most levels i ended up just going loud, if you don't set up traps to cover yourself, the enemy AI will find you and they will kill you

Really enjoyed the game, played it a lot more on console than PC but still.

One of the better and easy sniper games to play!

With its signature slow motion cam shots, this game has its eye candy for sure. Especially the nut shot! Unfortunately the game is very linear, but it makes a great co-op game.

Old, outdated, but still not a bad game in 2024. The newer editions are FAR better, of course.

Hard locks the PC on mission 6 don't waste your money.

The game is good, but don't buy this version. Get the remaster. It looks better, plays better, and has all of the DLC included for just a few dollars extra.

Bad game

I've played this a few times over the years & have enjoyed it each time. I think it has decent level design & the feel of some of the levels together with the graphics does give the idea that you're in a city & its environs that has been bombed, blasted & generally shot up to an extreme extent! Some missions do take a few tries to get right, normally due to rushing in & not realising where all the sneaky reinforcements will suddenly materialise. Which leads to you getting shot...a lot! It doesn't have the mechanics of the later games, so there are certain things you can't do if you play those first & then play this one. But that doesn't make this a lesser experience for all that.
