NARUTO TO BORUTO: SHINOBI STRIKER

Pretty fun game if you're really into Naruto. I don't recommend getting this game at full price though. Most of the fan-favorite, over-powered skills are locked behind DLC.

The game is great, I love it but there are 3 reasons why I would not recommend the PC version of the game.

1) The game is dead. Like theres usually only 2-3 players online at a time.

2) Bugs. Like game breaking bugs. I'm in the middle of a game and my screen goes completely black and nothing but restarting the entre game fixes it.

3) Everyone who plays this game can tell you about cheaters.

Honestly just go play this game on playstation, no cheaters plus thats where the main player base is anyways. That or we wait for Shinobi Strikers 2 to come out.

I wish, I had picked this game up earlier, it's amazing! Customizing you're own ninja, unlocking new equipment and moves, then running around a central hub, creates a MMO vibe. The combat and gameplay itself is really good and not just put together like other 'anime' fighting games.

The game to me, is not perfect, but is a prototype for something much bigger. Matchmaking for beginners is non existent and beginners are forced to play with more experienced players. Also que times can take a while in quickplay. This could be fixed, by the addition of crossplay in the future.

If you're a Naruto fan and skipped on this due to whatever reason, pick it up while its on sale, you won't be disappointed. Also get the deluxe edition, it's worth paying the little bit extra. Hopefully for the 2nd anniversary, crossplay is added.

Edit: After putting 30+ hours into this game over the past couple of weeks, I can definitely recommend this game to anyone who is a naruto fan. However, I really wish the developers put some special effort into the PC port of the game and made it into a masterpiece, as the communication in this game sucks and is none existent! If they just added small improvement of life additions to the PC port, the game would be so much better. Adding an open text chat for the hub/party/games would not only improve teamwork but bring new life to the hub, a new voice chat system (auto enabled by default and the ability to mute players by the in-game menu, basically like all other multiplayer games) and the ability to see other players steam profiles (so you can add them). Just adding these communications options, would make the game 100% better, improve teamwork, keep players on longer and form new friendships. At the moment if you're a solo player and or don't have 4 friends who play the game, you will get completely destroyed by a clan who has communication. This is really the only negative thing about the game, I take games pretty competitively and to have no communication in a team based game, is beyond stupid. Maybe if enough people ask, they can add it! This game rivals Storm 4.

It is Feb 9 2025 an this game is unplayable online. There is a guy named elizabeth who keeps hacking an spamming the ult from begging to the end of the game I've reported them an ran into them 2 days in a row. The game is dead an is not worth the investment. You have to gamble for weapons that trump all other in game weapons its a money grab with the naruto name on it. Bandi namco is a horrible company that produces 4 button games with no real investments in them.

feels the exact same as when i play it on console . only downside is the player count on pc .

The game is good and game-play is good but there should be a penalty for players that quit matches at mid mission.

it's a good game- could even be great, but the simple fact is it's really tough to justify the price tag when there's a predatory gacha mechanic and dlc slapped on top of it

def wait for a sale but be warned that you're going to be either grinding a lot or shelling out a decent amount for decent gear

too many cheaters and hackers using no cooldown type stuff. like if thats what you need to win do you i guess but kinda pathetic. no fun for people that have morals and dont cheat. let losers have this game i guess.

Super grindy. Predatory micro-transactions up to 400$ total. repetitive game-play. button mashing. crashes.

No idea when it started but in 2025 every lobby Q is like 15 minutes just to get spammed from every angle explosive clay pigeons and purple Kamehameha with the sickest range. Every match is like 20 minutes of pure stunlock. It happens so fast you don't have time nor chance to due anything but juggle stun till death. If you beat all the missions, PVP is all there's left so that's what awaits you and if you're looking to not play it solo its more extensive waiting which can be twice as long if it ever finds someone trying to play what you're trying to play.

Possibly the most fun Ive had in a while, and the best current Naruto game. Still gets regular updates, but there are some game breaking bugs sometimes, like the freeze after you respawn. Still a great game!

NOT RECOMMENDED, people cheating with unlimited health, unlimited jutsu activation. I have reported hundred times some players that Obviously are cheating and developers are not doing nothing. I continue to see the same cheater again and again. I hope next release all those reported players are banned. REPORT all the cheaters ...otherwise sooner or later the game will die. At the end, only cheaters will be connecting to battle among them. This is becoming a game only for cheaters, otherwise impossible to win.

still a solid in 2025, if only there is an offline mode just so get EXP and collect moves for online battles

I really enjoy making a custom naruto character. The abilities are so diverse and lots of builds are viable. it's a ton of fun.

Best fighting game I've played, it actually feels like being part of the series. Dislikes are the bugs and not enough missions, and I would love a more open world to explore

I like the game and I enjoy playing it, but recently there are too many people with the game hacked and they activate unlimited ninjutsu. So, not funny to play with player with unlimited ninjutsu and unlimited secret technique activation.

game is really fun if your looking for a xenoverse type naruto game but the game is full of hackers which wouldnt really bother me but when hackers are on your team or vice versa people will report you if you are hacking or not resulting in a ban which really wouldnt be that big of a deal but they have no support team the one they tell you to contact will straight up say they cant do anything so take it as a warning or whatev

Quite a good game so far!
It would be good if the game developers would make substitution clones (all the clones, including scientific ninja tools clones) moving and attacking, like in the original anime series, not just staying in one place (like most of the clones), or walking slowly like Shadow Clone Explosion, which is very easy to notice and escape from it. Reducing substitutions' cooldowns a bit would be helpful too, as well as improving their stats and effects or at least keeping them as they were before (e.g. Time Space Hop), and not reducing it.
Also, nice thing would be if the players could buy scrolls or other in-game stuff with in-game money they earn by doing missions and playing in the tournaments, not just with real money payment, which can be quite expensive.
There are some things that are ruining the game a bit and those are SS+ weapons, and those drones, pistols, and machine-guns scientific ninja tools.
Apart from that, everything else is so good:
- Graphics are done very good;
- Mechanics and movements are impressing;
- Character choices and etc.
I rank it maybe 7.5/8 out of 10!

Huge fan of the anime and the storm series. This is an AMAZING game minus the servers. Really really cool concept.

Do not buy this game. I recently bought a DLC but did not receive my items. Later, I refunded the DLC and couldn’t start the game anymore because it said I had to activate my DLC in-game; otherwise, I would have to create a new character (which you can’t do without going in-game). I then repurchased the DLC, but guess what? It still doesn’t work. The Bandai Namco support is just as bad. I created an account but can’t even log in. This game is a complete scam and only aims to take your money.

I bought it because I love but it has a lot of bugs especially the loading screen error saying Unrecognized file. I would not recommend this for any of my friends for now. I'm giving it a 2.5 out of a 5 star review. Beware guys.

Fun game. I enjoyed collecting jutsu and customising my character. The VR missions are pretty fun too. However, the tailed beast beam attacks going through terrain is bs. I can only recommend getting it during a big sale.

This game is the Naruto RPG I've been waiting for. For so long I wished to enter the World of Shinobi, and thanks to this game, Shinobi Striker, I can. Thank you so much for designing this awesome game

Very fun game with a nice community (mostly). But unfortunately it has tons of bugs, is very unbalanced and matches can get pretty laggy.

I recommend to buy it only when its on huge sale.

Even if youre not a fan of the series this game is super fun to play alone/with friends and even without DLC u can still become really pwoerfull easily

this game has many issues with cheaters being the least worry..the leaderboards are broken and any event does not keep track of points making all events pointless grinds for no prizes...then theres the constant disconnect issues that have been in the game since day 1...i always thought the devs at bandai to be top tier but with this game they must have picked the bottom of barrel..

It's really good, but there's not enough variety of content. I think many people would like to see a larger lobby, a mode with free movement on a large map and more interaction with the game space. The animations of the fights looks nice, but there are not enough smoother movements of the characters, the animations of walking and running are not synchronized with the surface, which I think is quite possible to fix. I hope the developers plan to improve the game, focusing not only on the content in the form of seasonal things and new techniques, but also in terms of game mechanics and maps, I think many players will agree with me.

This is a very fun game, it has alot of fun quests, alot of stuff you can costumise for example, ninjutsu, appearence, attack type or ranged type ect, also very fun if you like the naruto anime. you can play matches online with other people too.

Its a really fun game, grew up playing anime fighters. Really brought back memories
