this game has many issues with cheaters being the least worry..the leaderboards are broken and any event does not keep track of points making all events pointless grinds for no prizes...then theres the constant disconnect issues that have been in the game since day 1...i always thought the devs at bandai to be top tier but with this game they must have picked the bottom of barrel..
It's really good, but there's not enough variety of content. I think many people would like to see a larger lobby, a mode with free movement on a large map and more interaction with the game space. The animations of the fights looks nice, but there are not enough smoother movements of the characters, the animations of walking and running are not synchronized with the surface, which I think is quite possible to fix. I hope the developers plan to improve the game, focusing not only on the content in the form of seasonal things and new techniques, but also in terms of game mechanics and maps, I think many players will agree with me.
This is a very fun game, it has alot of fun quests, alot of stuff you can costumise for example, ninjutsu, appearence, attack type or ranged type ect, also very fun if you like the naruto anime. you can play matches online with other people too.
Its a really fun game, grew up playing anime fighters. Really brought back memories

i played the game for two hours and i got to do four mission because most of the time when i tried to play with a friend the game just says "cant connect to the server" or something
i started as a weak little chunin or whatever and now i have become the stuff of nightmares. Its a really fun game but its pretty lame they make you pay for some of the cooler jutsus that should be included bro
i changed my review i love the game but after the last few months the game needs a full re balance and less pay to win op-tunes with the gotcha store

I've owned this game on two different platforms so feel confident that everything you're about to read is going to be accurate as it relates to both my time on console (300 hours), and my time here.
First and foremost this recommendation is made purely out of bias regarding my love of the IP.
-This game is a microtransaction black hole, new jutsu release broken to push sales then get nerfed
-life without DLC purchases could be compared to hell, but at least in hell you occasionally would catch a break
-the community collectively has about 7.3 braincells resulting in matches where folks more or less throw because they're not playing to the game's mechanics or team centric meta (healers...go heal plz)
-the servers are absolute nightmares
-Cheaters run this game not the devs
-let's not even get into the scrolls or their drop rates, but suffice it to say you will empathize with the cheaters once you realize you can drop 100 esoteric scrolls and get not one featured item; the game gets to a level of grind that borders on nonsensical...no it is indeed nonsensical
-have I mentioned that the game has been out half a decade and no Kiba, no Shino, no ten ten. wtf???
suffice it to say that purchasing this game will result in a toxic relationship that you won't want to leave just because you get to create your own Ninja, pick jutsu, and really have some amazing fights once you learn what you're doing and you ignore the meta gamers. You will hate the vast majority of your playtime but even then there's amazing moments of socialization and teamwork on top of weeb actualization that will keep you playing each day hoping that it's a good one. Again, I'm not recommending this game bc I wholeheartedly believe it's good. I'm recommending it as a fan who's always wanted to put himself in the ninja world which I'm assuming is the reason you're here. Again, this game is a black hole that you will never leave, so do not expect to have warm feelings at least 5/7 days a week. Do not play this game thinking I'm lying and that you're going to have a different experience. each and every single NTBSS player is most likely a chain smoker after about hour 30; and especially during the ninja world hero festival. Do not get invested unless you're a Die hard Naruto fan who's emotions flair up everytime you see the swing; without that level of emotional investment to the IP you're going to have a rough time. Because it's our memories of the series and the connections we've made to our characters on top of our expression and builds that genuinely keeps us coming back every day.
There is probably the one thing that gives this game replay value into the 1000s, and that's the raw amount of build potential across the 4 classes of ninja. once you've gotten all the jutsu (DLC XD) you can occupy yourself for weeks just making builds and outfitting your ninja with the absurd amount of drip available in the game. one week I'm orochimaru's hidden black son, the next week I'm a fire spewing Uchiha, week after that I'm the healingest healer who ever healed this side of the healy river.
There, I feel I've warned you properly whilst simultaneously plugging the best parts of the game. Good luck whatever you decide. Just know that if you do purchase, make sure you warn your therapist.
on ps its fine but on pc it dosnt even connect to the server,all you can do is the vr stuff
fun game for people who like naruto its more of a battle grounds game
Character customization is limited to what you would see in the show for the most part. You are really just playing through the episodes from the tv show for the most part. If you've seen the tv show then it gets boring pretty quickly and the only thing to keep you interested would be to play the game to unlock new things for you character.
Very fun to play with and without DLC's, however get prepared for one of the buggiest lobbies and restarting the game 24/7. However it takes 50 years for matchmaking, no one plays quick play so you have to play the Ninja world league with people who've been playing the game as a new player.
i really am enjoying creating a character from the show atm, and there are even more dlcs so yeah im happy, BUT SO MUCH ATK WEAPONS xD :/
As for now, the creators are trying to make more free content, that which can be received by just playing the game, events and even just logging in the game. Like new cool SS+ weapons and summoning animals (toads, hawks, dogs). As for DLC's I reccomend buying some of them just to make things more interesting for you, they are pretty cheap if bought on sales.
I hope in the nearest future the game's online will rise, even just a little bit, because it's really one of the coolest game based on Naruto verse. Although even now you can start the event game without much of a delay.
I recommend this game for buying, but, preferably on sale.

An amazing game if your a naruto fan looking for a good naruto game to play. Played this game on both console and pc and its really fun especially with friends. Only problem is that its kinda pay to win but the game along with the dlcs go on sale all the item so thats a plus. Overall would recommend its still fun even without the dlcs.
i have no dislikes about this game. I love how its lets you embrace being in the naruto world and how you never get bored. in all this game deserves 5*

It's somewhat fun until you notice every battle is against a full squad, using the same jutsus and busted weapons over and over again for each of the many (4) game modes, and the most annoying thing is fighting a bunch of rangers who just attack and run away having to chase them down and get obliterated in the process or shell out a few bucks for jutsus that slow them down for a few seconds....leaving you vulnerable to the other 4 meta builds. Overall, I have mixed feelings about this game, and only play it because I sunk too much money into it already, but if there was a better mmo rpg game with similar set up I'd switch immediately.
40 mins and ım still waiting for the game to find the match, after 40 mins of sitting and waiting ı just ate my keyboard and monitor out of anger(still didnt found a match and ı just rage quitted,such a sad event for this beautiful game)

Nice game I payed for DLC,came back after 6 months and no dlcs,no skins.
Incredibly frustrating gameplay. Creating your own ninja is amazing and there are a lot of cosmetic items, but the actual gameplay is terrible. Special moves often don't hit, camera angles are wonky, enemies are total damage sponges, every mission has a timer often restricting your gameplay, half of the unlockable moves feel under powered/don't work and I cant tell you how many times I was knocked down only to get knocked down again and again and again never being able to do anything before finally being K.O'd. On top of all that the game is essentially just a small hub that you can't really explore with any real depth. You hangout in it for a little before going on one of these boring missions. A lot of missions are literally the same just reskinned with a different difficulty level too. Not many games find that special spot of frustration for me but this one manages.

its really good i just really wish that is was an open world game all naruto fans ever dreamed of was an open world game so you can play as team 7 and really enjoy it! now im not saying its bad you should definitely get it its an amazing game to play its so fun! :)
the longer u play pvp the more moders and cheaters u find game is unplayable in pvp... game in general is good but the cheaters are just everywhere

Really want to play naruto to boruto shinobi striker please check fix the game. Remove the anti cheat error. Just want play the game on my steam deck
bought it a while ago, now wanted to play it with my gf... the first few minutes were kinda fun but then we found out that you have to pay extra for absolutely everything.
could be fun but we'll never know.

Great Game. Can't recommend to play on steam. Extremely buggy and constant disconnects. Over 30 hours and haven't seen one day without UI bugs or server disconnects. Would recommend playing on console, definitely not the steam version.
It has too many bugs to access the server, the gameplay is excellent, and the connection goes smoothly, but the servers fail, you can not see the profile of another player or enter the matchmaking even though you are seeing other people around you and playing missions normally, please the game has a lot of potential, do not let it die, we need a hotfix because it is really horrible to have to restart the game three times to start playing.
Very good game, kind of annoying how most of the good jutsus are locked behind paying though.

Lots of fun to have, tons of stuff to unlock. Definitely not perfect and there's a learning curve, but i still enjoyed it. Beautiful game, with wonky UI.
its a short game but i enjoyed it but buy it on sale because I barley got 10 hours and finished it like. It is fun and I probably could go install it again and get more hours out of it but I am content with having playing it
