Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet

In my opinion, this game is still good to play at the moment, the only downside is that some of the updates are no longer available.

this game made me want to shoot my monitor after wasting 6 hours when trying to get the good ending to just fail anyways

fun game and one where u play as a separate mc, setting is ggo which is cool, gameplay feels different from standard sao games cuz of the types of guns and everth, overall a nice game

This is a game made for fans and only fans of the series

It's an sp game but gameplay is similar to the game the first descendant.
It's clear that the dev didnt have huge funds and it shows but they made the best of it.
I wish they'd make a second game but had bigger funding.

Personally i like this kind of sao gameplay more cause its more fast paced and the fact that we can make our own character (not kirito). I hope the dev will make the continuation of our main character here but i really doubt that...

Game is poorly optimised for pc. Many of the controls simply don't make sense. Extremely limited character customisation that you can't even see change. Worst problem about this game is that you can't uninstall it from Steam. It will stay on your PC even after you've uninstalled it through Steam. You need to go into your files and find it in order to remove it.
There is something good in this game though. How the guns work. Probably the best I've seen in any game with guns in them.

Personal opinion of course...

If you enjoy SAO but with guns (or lasers), get this one.

Graphics are good, combat is engaging, and RPG elements are decent as well.

I also enjoyed the story and dialogue. Some missions might get repetitive / grindy, but the gameplay / combat kept me committed.

Would only buy this if it goes on sale. The UI and UX are not great and you will constantly fight weird and crappy design decisions.
It can't go above 60fps modding it to do so will make the enemy's behave like they are on crack.
and no one plays multiplayer so that's a feature you won't get to play.
Story is eh..
If you are a hard core SAO fan and it its on sale get it otherwise don't.

Unless your a fan of the series i wont really heavily recommend the game

I actually had this on my now dead PS4. playing on a mosue and keyboard made this game really really better
also being PC gave me options to enjoy questionable skin mods XD

if not there is still fun to be had but the cringey story and and the non stop voice over at everything can get tedious

overall i really prefer this than the mainline series of games since I can self insert myself

Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet had potential, but unfortunately, it falls flat in execution. The tutorial alone is long and boring, dragging on far longer than necessary before you actually get into the action. You’ll find yourself stuck in a repetitive cycle of being sent to one place, going back to the original area, then being sent to the same place again—like a glorified walking simulator.

When you finally engage in combat, the controls feel clunky and unpolished. Auto-assist makes it even worse, as it feels like you're finally the POV of a cheater in a shooter game, thus removing any sense of challenge or skill.

That being said, there are a few upsides: the character customization is decent, some of the RPG mechanics are interesting, and if you’re a hardcore SAO fan, there’s enjoyment to be found in the world-building. But overall, Fatal Bullet fails to deliver an exciting or engaging experience.

Unless you're a die-hard Sword Art Online fan, Fatal Bullet is hard to recommend. There are better RPG shooters out there that don’t waste your time with excessive tutorials and uninspired gameplay loops.

This game is pretty fun, I enjoy the world and story, but I have two pet peeves.

1: The story treated me like a guy, even though I played as a girl.

2: The whole friendship system was confusing and I had no idea when to press the weirdly chosen key to comment on my teammates good work.

Beyond that, great game!

This game has a lot of issues; there is a fair bit of broken lens glaring, occasional fatal crashes, weird plot holes, and thick tutorials. However, the combat is enjoyable, the customization is thorough, and I genuinely enjoyed myself while playing it, so if you are an SAO fan, I would give it a whirl!

As of me writing this, the game is constantly encountering a fatal error on the menu. Every community fix I've tried hasn't worked. I don't expect support to be much help either, and I am so far out of the refund period that I'm just stuck with a loading screen simulator. Yay.

It's actually a pretty good game. I do not regret any time spent or money spent on this.
I'd actually claim it's one of the best SAO games out there. I could be bias since GCO arc is one more favorite sword art arcs but over as a dude who like his basic Sword Art Story line. This game was for sure a surprise.

I went in thinking I was gonna have to play as Kirito for 50 hours and found myself making a cool character.
I hope one day we get another like this. I really do.

Played it with friends, my friends already beat the games so he help me grind. The story is not that good but... The multiplayer is good...

if you are the fanboy/fangirl of SAO and ever think of "If im in that game, i will defeated kirito easily". then this game is for you. even so, this game just have problem in the key mapping but since i have external controller is not too bad.

the concept is beautiful , story is original and is kinda of a new perspective , stunning character design , lovely customization's , decent maps , below average enemy , great combat system , (if you have watched sao series Anime) its a must try wont desapoint (multiple quests are there as well) (its a solid 8.1/10 for me) also new costumes and different looks for Asuna ,kirito , etc u will find out soon enough) :) <3

In a word: Meh. Spend your money elsewhere.

Gun play is okay-ish once you get your system dialed in to play at a decent frame rate, except for snipers. Enemy players never stand still, so good luck hitting them. The sound design is pretty awful as well, unfortunately; it never sounds like anyone is shooting more than nerf guns.

Story, as far as I got, is mostly okay. Lots of stereotypical anime characters (not a bad thing, more just an FYI). Pacing is crap.

this game has no multiplayer functions. you cant find room and you autiomatically get kicked because there is no suck thing as a eac sandox, searched it online and found no soluitions.

it might be an older game, and there is SO much drama. You can skip most convo. or at least speed them up. The Combat is what I'm here for. Photon swords look like lightsabers, the sword play is fluid, the gun play is fantastic. The hair colors are a bit dull, mods make this game better. Imagine if they added some of the QoL mods!

i only like the combat in this game other than that the amount of cringe dialogue and 24/7 moaning while you fight is so annoying this is probably the 1st game i ever feelin like Degen human bein while try to finish it, glad its over never again lmao.

I love the anime and installed with a lot of enthusiasm. With all due respect it is quite boring and dialogue is dry (not in the hilarious British way). Gameplay is ddecent but the package as a whole does not excite me to keep playing.
