This game is ridiculous. The solitaire is amazing, super chill to play and fun also. But the match-3 levels are a NIGHTMARE. Especially the last ones. I was stuck on lvl 95 for weeeeks. This is insane. I have 22+ hours on this game just because of the match-3 levels (which I have to get 3 stars on if I want to have the achievements, which I obviously do). We shouldn't spend so much time on stuff like that if the game is promoted as a solitaire one. I don't think it's worth the money.
This review is a continuation of my review of Zombie Solitaire 2 Chapter 1. Read that review before coming to this one.
This game is largely the same as Chapter 1, with a lot of the same problems. Though some hidden object mini games are added to this one. As well as I believe one other random one off minigame that is never repeated again. Same basic mechanics, almost the same achievements, just different hands, different choices in cut scenes to make... and the return of those pesky match 3 levels. Though for the most part, the difficulty of the match 3 levels in getting 3 stars on all of them seems to be slightly lessened. There were still a few of these that I got hung up on for a while, but no where near as as Chapter 1, Just look at my game play time difference.
Still a pretty good game.
Not much else to add that's different from Chapter 1.
Review for Chapter 3 next....
It's a no brainer. It's a time waster. But it's challenging and engaging and just fun. Get it. Play it.

TONS of replay (and 'rainy day') value!
This is the worst and definitely most unbalanced solitaire game I have ever played, and its not even close. Be prepared to grind for cash to buy powerups, or play same level 10+ times to get enough wild cards every 3 levels or so just to pass a level with 2 or 3 stars. To be more precise, just now I played same level 5 times in a row, where I couldnt move from first 4 cards, going thru whole decks each and every time, I just couldnt move anywhere, so from the get go it is completely impossible for you to even fishih a level, let alone get any stars. Only way to pass it is as I said grind grind and grind with same obnoxious music playing in the background (turning it off is a must or you will go insane). There is no flow in this game, its almost like those wait to win mobile games, game just deals you decks that are impossible to be passed without help via aformentioned powerups and/or wild cards. Also those 3 gems games that come up every now and then are the same. If you want to get all the stars be prepared to be BORED to tears, until you just delete your game from your system like I will most likely do soon. There is no way in hell that I'm buying any more games from this developer, its the same unbalanced garbage like this one. There are way better solitaire games out there, this is not worth your precious time. Believe you me.

Very good! They adjusted the difficulty on chapter 2, and it has a much better balance between the card game and side games. A nice little story to follow along with. Emoticons, profile backgrounds, Steam achievements and trading cards are nice.
This is an excellent, casual card game. Highly recommend!
Before a great review, I have to say this: I was playing with an invisible mouse (and yes, I tried almost everything to fix this) and instead of giving up (because you know you don't want to) -> it gave me more of a challenge and it is doable: if you don't play full screen and you approximate your mouse point and click - you can actually get through the game pretty well. The small elevator button will take some time though, but that's okay. I am glad that Match 3 and some other options have highlights on them, if you hover over - this way you can also get an estimate on your mouse location. That said... it all led to an extra challenging gameplay, BUT it was FUN and worth it!!!
I like and super enjoy these type of games and find them interesting. This one definitely fits the category. The music/OST is amusing as well (this includes the crisp card sound effects and spooky theme and special effects). You get to find out more of what happens/where you are going to escape from "you know who" (many of them). Along the way you face card battles and at times: Match 3 games. Match 3 were the hardest. They require the most luck (in my opinion / based on skill level). Sometimes you find a pretty sticker and you feel excited! You also get a scenario with an event. I could never figure out what will happen, depending on the answer...which was great!!! And yes, lots of fun was had and will happen again.
I truly and greatly appreciate all of the games and content the Team creates. Keep it up and we will be here to enjoy it all and support ya!!!
I don't know what cons are, because even the bad can be amusing and interesting if you use your imagination.
The only thing is (apart from the invisible mouse) - I couldn't get two achievements to work: "The undo button one" and "The 12k gold one/ Zombie Broker".
Now onto more games!!!
Zombie Solitaire is a very nice and fun Solitaire.
Another great game in the series! Looking forward to playing the 3rd now. Great mix between solitaire and match 3. 9/10
Another good game in the Zombie Solitaire 2 series. I must say though, that this one was my least favorite. It seemed harder to make combos and money was hard to come by. But that did make me play much more strategically and use my power up cards wisely because I might not be able to afford them the next time around.
I did miss the little text adventure games found more abundantly in Ch. 3. Also there are no zombie fight matches yet, those are introduced in Ch. 3. There is the addition of combining certain objects at certain intervals to move on. The match 3 puzzles are still challening in this one, with certain ones I just had to give up on or play on casual to get through.
All in all still an enjoyable solitaire game, and a must have if you enjoy Ch.1 and Ch. 3 Ranking- Ch. 3 favorite, then Ch. 1, and finally Ch. 2. I'm still playing it for achievements, although on all three installments I'll never get 100% due to not being able to get enough stars on the match 3 games. Also in Ch. 2, it's hard to amass great sums of money due to not being able to make as many combos. I think this is related to the many configurations of the cards. They are though, very creative and fun to try and beat.
I'd still recommend, as I said. Good job with this series as a whole. I hope the devs will give us more solitaire games in the future! :o)
Better than chapter 1, just for the fact that the match 3 mini games are actually beatable,
A fun game thats relaxing to play and a bit of a laugh .
Standard up/down solitaire , some sub games , and a good story line .
Games a bit more advanced than the first game in the series and more interesting too .
Graphics OK for this type of game , good price in the sale .

Do you like "b" zombie movies with no production values? Do you like zombie movies with little or no plot? Do you like buggy zombie games that make no sense? You can see where I am going with this... I finished "chapters" 1 and 2 but ran into way too many issues and won't be playing chapter 3.
Game is a mish-mash of high-low card, match 3 and hidden object games and unfortunately none of them are good.
The high-low card game is basically way too easy and it seems that some of the levels were gimicky, especially at the end of each "chapter". Each chapter had at least one level where you had to use the "zombie blaster" (a bomb) to destroy half of the layout. If you looked in my library, you would see that I have quite a few of these type of card games, and in general the ones I have purchased have been challenging and the special cards you can buy such as wild cards, bombs, etc add nice strategy elements to the gameplay. Here, not so much. There are only four "power up" cards, a one card remove (Zombie Slap Baseball Bat), a two card remove (Zombie Killer Shot Gun), a whole stack remove (Zombie Blaster Bomb) and a Joker (Timed Clown). In reality only the shotgun and the bomb are useful. In fact I have never really seen a stack destroy or time wildcard implemented in a game like this before. The bomb especially makes most of the "harder", later levels trivial.
Now for the match three levels. These can not have been game tested by the devs. The game gives you a choice of two difficulties on these levels. First there is "normal" which has a turn limit, and in theory anyway, allows you to obtain three stars for killing all of the zombies and removing all of the special tiles from the grid. Then there is "casual" which has no turn limit but only earns one star when the level is completed. After about three of these levels in chapter one, you eventually figure out that "normal" mode is pretty much a waste of time. The turn limits are extremely low and the number of zombies, the odd layouts and technical issues make them nearly impossible to win on normal. So you might as well play "casual" and kiss some of the acheivements based on number of stars goodbye.
The hidden object levels are mainly just to move the "story" along. They give no stars, no gold and are really just an annoyance. Even worse in chapter 2 they become down right irritating as they give no indication what you are actually trying to find.
Then we get to the bugs and poor design descisions. I had several times where legal moves both tn the match 3 and card levels would not register even with wild cards in the solitaire levels. These would eventually clear up after a few frustrating minutes where the game would eventually "wake up" and accept the move. Also in the solitaire levels, the Zombie Killer (Shotgun) and Zombie Slap (Baseball Bat) had odd behavior in that when you used them they would also draw the next card from your deck. This eliminated all strategy in using these cards. Say if I was trying to play on a 2, and an 8 was covering the 3 I needed, I could shotgun the 8, but then the next card was drawn and my 2 was gone.
Anyway I would not recommend these games. I bought them on sale and am disappointed I spent money on the two chapter bundle.
Overall Rating: 3.5 / 10.
I've played halfway through now, and I'm having a lot of fun. The game is smooth and fluid. There are lots of variables in the game: different well placed match-3 mini-games, stickers to collect, helpful wildcards, and other useful cards that serve a specific purpose that you can purchase with in-game gold. Graphics are cute and colorful, with very nice sound effects and music. Good production values. If you like solitaire, and zombies - I recommend picking this game up during a sale.
