w game
As a kid I would always ram the armored car through the walls on every mission. Nothing has changed.

this version runs like crap but really good game
Irrespective of having read the offsite manual, Police Quest: SWAT 2 is astonishingly learnable and can become both entertaining and challenging in spite of its archaic user interface, frequent frame drops on modern devices, and unwelcoming dimensional design.
What might be the most remarkable aspect of this video game is the option between two campaigns, one wherein players are tasked with managing and coordinating a specialized police team (S.W.A.T.) with heightened expectations from the public, and the other having the player act as a cell for a terrorist organization (Five Eyes) entrusted with aiding the organizations plans to overthrow Los Angeles by any means necessary with no concern for public interest.
Essentially, I can only recommend this title for those willing to micromanage even the most basic actions to ensure the survival of their units and the successfulness of their operations as products like Police Quest: SWAT 2 expect players to have mastered all functions and controls in the beginning stages while also expecting them to have a good sense for how the computer-controlled team will react to every step the player's team makes and what appropriate measures must be taken.
I've played this game since it came out in 1998. I'm 32 years old and still play this game. That is how good it is.
