About the Game
A Story of Battle, Blood, and Love!
Shuma Kusanagi is just an ordinary boy...
Until he's suddenly abducted by the vampire ringleader Iris Pumila, who reveals to him the secret of his birth: he has vampire blood coursing through his veins, and it is her destiny to awaken him!
Fortunately Shuma is able to return to his daily life, but he is plagued by the vampiric impulses that randomly overcome his changed body.
And at the same time, a bunch of bizarre people are butting into his life...
The werewolf maid Mari, who was tasked by Shuma's deceased father to restore the family she serves to its former glory.
Calen of the Officinalis family, one of the three progenitor families, who declares herself his fiancee.
Vampire hunter Aoi Kamishiro, sent from the Holy See's secret anti-supernatural organization: the Rubina.
And Lycoris, an assassin sent by Iris as though to laugh in the face of his hopes.
While being pulled back and forth between all these girls, Shuma tries to live not as a vampire, but as a human.
Tangled in the midst of this web of conflicting intentions, Shuma must use his vampiric powers despite his aversion to them to oppose the rising forces of evil!

I only wished the patch was sold here in steam, but other than that I'm having fun.
this is a must play if your interested in very well written visual novels!
I tried to get past it be cause the reviews where positive and i couldnt. But I did end up coming back and finishing it. The main character you play as is completely useless and pathetic and you arent given any choices to change that. This game is really expensive for a visual novel and your forced to play as a pathetic loser...however if you can over come the frustration the ending is good and ultimately worth it and the main character does redeem himself, it just takes a bit of patience.
This is an interesting visual novel. You are a newly awakened vampire of an old bloodline. And you don't want to embrace those powers. But... events force you to do so. There are four paths you can choose, but all are done well.
Would recommend waiting for a sale, but otherwise... go ahead.
There is also a patch somewhere out there to add more explicit scenes, but I am unsure if it would add much...
It was boring, there isn't much difference outside of looks between the main heroines.
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I enjoy this game very much. Considering that therer aren't many visual novels out there that are easy to access, Libra is probably a good place to start on visual novels that have an *ahem* adult theme.
There is so much to love about this game, it has some of everything.
Was not a fan of the peeing though. Not somthing I think of when I think of Vampires.
Fantastick storey though.
Buyed it for a lewd vampire story.
What i got :
- Cute maid
- Cute Vampiress
- Dumb NINGEN friends
- Loli with Huge chest
- God being a ass
- Awesome lolicon Vampire dad
What I wish to have:
- the youknowwhat patch ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
- Vampiress IRL
I fucked the loli BTW ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
11/10 Would disappoint my familly again
A completely okayish game. The common path is quite entertaining, but as with most romantic comedies everything gets more constrained and dulls as you enter the various routes. Graphics are nice, voiceover is good and story is meh.
Crashes quite a bit, so save often.
Just finished the game and for a visual novel, I have to say it was pretty well made. This is not an interactive visual novel, the only interaction you do in the game is choosing which route or story you decide to go. In total there are 4 routes, each being unique with a different storyline. I'd recommend playing all of them, not only to get your money's worth, but each route has different backstory which you won't find out in the other routes. BE AWARE there are BUGS which sometimes crash the game when I was playing, but I was easily able to get past it by messing around with the game settings such as turning off the screen effects and reverting it back after i got through it. Speaking of effects, I have to hand it to the graphics team. They did a really good job especially during the fighting scenes which made the game way more immersive. I've played quite a few visual novels, but this one was really unique. For example, they change viewpoints to different characters and you get a better perspective of each indivdual character. Overall it was a great game! 8/10
The translation for this game is absolutely terrible. You should not have to think, "what on earth does this line even mean?", every single time a new sentence pops up on screen, when reading an official translation. The quality of this translation is worse than most fan translations out there. It is beyond just awkward grammar and a few literal TLs. It is as stiff as a machine translation. I have gone through about 5 hours of this game, comparing the Japanese lines to the English, and the translators clearly knew essentially no English. They have translated every single line so literally, that it just turns into a big mess. For instance, a blow to the stomach became "stomach bam". The sun being extremely hot = "the sun exploded". As funny as the line "a stomach bam" is, it is not okay for stuff like that to be left in a translation that we paid money for.
I have a thread on Fuwanovel where I show some screenshots, and others also share some examples of the terrible translation. Please, read this thread before even thinking about buying this game in its current state.

As this game is still fairly new, I haven't sunk my teeth into this game too deeply (no pun intended). But I'll give my first impressions of the beginning.
To sum it up, if you've watched the anime, it's similar to the general idea of Strike the Blood. We have a male progenitor, that's a bit not happy about becoming a vampire. Not the best at using his powers, but he's strong when he uses them properly. Lots of cute girls to help him along his way. But instead of "senpai" we get "master."
+Music is great. The every-day-life tunes are relaxing. And when poop hits the fan, I get goosebumps. It loops as well, so no awkward no music reading.
+Great voice acting. Jap VA's never fail to disappoint. Also, moaning. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Wear headphones if you want to play with people nearby, or you will get odd looks.
+Artwork is cute af. Can't complain about cute characters. Each character with their own set of poses to fit the conversation. Action scenes are just as great (haven't seen too many yet, but nothing bad to note). Backgrounds are nicely done too.
+Characters aren't basic. They may follow the troupe, but they have enough personality and uniqueness to them to pull away.
+There are multiple endings to this game. Or better to say, multiple heroine routes you can chose (4 to be exact). Sadly, Sakurako isn't one. :( RIP bestgirl.
+There's a masochist lolicon old man.
+Lots of peeing in panties.
-There seems to be some frame drops during some action scenes, as they have animated slashes and explosion, etc. Though this might be due to specs.
-Max resolution size for window mode is 1120x630 sadly.
-It might be locked behind the adult patch, or until you finish the game (as there's an empty space on at the title screen), but there does not seem to be an Extras menu. So you can't view CGs or scenes that you've already played/read through.
-There's a masochist lolicon old man.
-Lots of peeing in panties.
Joking aside, this is one of the better visual novels I've played on Steam. $43.99 might seem like it's pushing the price to some of you, but it's a fair pricing. As more and more VNs start coming out on Steam, you'll understand what I mean. (I'm looking at you Key. Release your games already.) But I digress. Final note here. Though this is the "All-Ages" version, there is still mature content. So be careful of who you're buying this game for, and where you're playing it.
