I actually love this game above all other Warriors titles Omega did. It's pretty different compared to the others when you have to face a few Titans instead of thousands of foot soldiers with spears and swords. I wouldn't have tried to get all the achievements if I didn't enjoy the game, and this game is the reason why Baldur's Gate 3 wasn't my most played game in 2023.

Another Mode lets you play as the characters from the anime instead of just your character, and all the characters have their strengths. Levi and Mikasa, being Ackermans, are the game's Lu Bu and Guan Yu.

The game is fun, it's been 1 month since I bought it and I've been playing it almost every day. Some people say the game is repetitive and yes it is, but I think it's still fun (I always like to killing the titans because it feels satisfying. Especially when the equipment and character stats are high :D). I bought this game initially just because I like Levi's character, but apart from that, this game really makes me addicted until now. There are many game modes that can be played, and can increase friendship between characters and that's the fun part too because each character has their own story. The feature I like the most is when the scout mission mode, in that mode we can invite one of the characters to join us, and I often invite Levi with me :p. Love this game ❤️

I hope this game gets continued until season 4 of the anime. Whether it's an update or a separate DLC would be fine ^^

Holy shit this is buggy. Skipped the entire academy session and now i cant recover from a missed shot at alll. And I've beaten all these several time son console.

Very fun gameplay. I felt like spiderman swinging from tree to wall to titan. It feels like a lot at first but it gets better as you keep going.

It covers the only parts of the series worth a shit and you get fun spiderman 2 esque gameplay.

GET THE GAME!! It's seriously one of my favorites that I've put a lot of hours into. If you want to feel like a scout killing titans...this would be the game. It's super smooth and has a lot of character customization. The only negative is I want DLC for season four.

The gameplay is just too addicting. I'm not too crazy about some of the CGI in their cut scenes but Killing and dismembering titans is so satisfying- because the controls and combat is that smooth. I also do like how befriending characters give you stats boosts (Also teaches you skill moves) more than training does. not to mention the side quests that comes with befriending chars at times. I'd like to add the well thought out dynamic between the protag and chars makes it engaging to interact with them. It was a smart addition

Well I had it on Xbox back when it came out and blah blah Xbox died blah blah I finally decided to get it on PC and its still worth it and knowing how much i enjoy it years later and even with a KB&M (yes i have a controller but I feel like its easier to look around more quickly and more accurately with the mouse than with the joystick. would recommend trying it out yourselves. sorry, yapping.) I would have been willing to pay full price for the base game/final battle and all dlc involved (please don't use that as a reason to jack the prices Koei Tecmo) in summery i fully recommend this game 7 years later.

Is there gonna be a third game since attack on titan is completed??

This game is horrible! You have nothing to do: you just start a mission (in story mode, they don’t tell you how), kill a few titans, and then fight an overpowered abnormal titan that has way too much health and a shield for some reason. You can only hit him once every 2 to 3 workdays. terrible game.

Most repetitive game I have ever played.

bought this game, played for four hours

Attack on Titan was something of a phenomenon of an anime series, coming right around the same time as the popularity of The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones, and using similar themes as well as a propensity for killing major characters whenever it felt like. I definitely credit this series as a major part of Western anime popularity.

The series features a slight flip on a typical "zombie" narrative. In most, zombies are stupid and weak but overwhelming by numbers, in AoT, the "Titans" are somewhat different. Their numbers aren't huge, with say 20 total being able to wreck an entire city and they aren't weak--by being the size of a building, they are rather easily able to level a block, crush your small body in its fist, etc. The series does evolve even further past its roots as a zombie narrative, but thats for you to watch.

pros:
-very solid gameplay. the series trademark ODM gear makes traversal not too different from a spider man game, and with cables that attach to real places, and strong physics, its deeply fun to just move around, not to mention fight.
-okay adaptation of the story, although various elements don't make too much sense, as the game gives a little TOO much respect to its original story--in the series, 10 of the main character recruits attain the top spots in training and get to choose their regiment. it is impossible for you yourself to attain a spot yourself, despite the rather easy possibility to beat them all in training.
-learn more about the characters. A good portion of the game is like Fire Emblem or another social RPG where you give gifts and learn more about your favorite characters, unlocking extra abilities in combat by having them in your squad.
-Final Battle adds a lot of Season 3 content and a lot of replay-ability.

cons:
-annoyingly ignores any opportunity to change the story for you--as i mentioned earlier, it sticks too close the original story and never lets you feel like your character matters, despite being easy enough to be leagues better than the best characters in the series.
-TOO EASY. Titans are supposed to be dangerous and very hard to take down. even the best fighters in the series have like 20-30 kills; i did that in the first three levels, even on hard. the difficulty comes from choosing to not go for the kill, rather going for a limb that might reward you or capturing titans instead of killing them. Teammates are basically guaranteed hits/kills or abilities that heal or stun or whatever. this is honestly the single most damaging part of the game considering the lore.
-literally never on sale.

This game is seriously one of the best game i've ever played i recommend getting it 10000000%. It is so much fun playing
through the story and watching your character get stronger and stronger as you go, and you get EVEN stronger when you play territory recovery mode which is included in the Final Battle DLC, Everything in the game for me is just right i've enjoyed every bit of AOT 2. Sure it might be a lot of grinding at times especially when you want to see what happens when you level every characters relationship to the max but overall still lots of fun to be had. I haven't played with a friend yet but that seems to also be lots of fun too.

**SPOILER ALERT!!!**
The only thing i really don't like is that when you get the Final Battle DLC your character just kinda isn't there anymore, and then you could play the characters themselves like Eren, Armin, Mikasa and them in character episode mode but at that point why not just watch the anime it's self you know? I've grown to like my character very much because of all the time i spent making my character stronger and faster, all of that. So it was really disappointing to me when i found out that he/she just won't be there for the 3rd season.


Well that was about it, i will keep on playing again and hopefully one day i get 1000 hours on it, it's just always so fun to me when i get to zoom around all over the place and destroy all titans, i will try to get every achievement of the game just because it's so enjoyable to me. And also KOEI TECMO! PLEAAASE tell me yall are working on another DLC where the main character is there for the 4th season and it's just not me playing as Eren or whoever for the 4th season just like in final battle DLC. This game is a huge part of me now so i'd really like to see a 4th season implemented in it and not another game unless it has my character in it. Either way Koei Tecmo have made an absolutely incredible game with very good game mechanics and if you're a fan of the attack on titan franchise this game is definitely gonna be your thing.
