if you played the first one already, get ready to play it all over again in this Attack On Titan "2" game. Its still a good game tho

Really fun game. ODM mechanics are really good, and the game has a variety of difficulty settings that allow you to have solid control over how imprecise movement and timing should be punished. With the expansion, the game has a mind-bending amount of content. Slice of life aspects of the game are actually pretty fun and engaging, and do help to flesh out a lot of the characters' personalities and backstories.

FUN game!

Despite being buggy and repetitive, i have been totally hooked on serial killing these Titans.

I can not figure out, however, they could release this game knowing how BUGGY the physics are for the titans? Ragdolls would be better! But instead they just keep teleporting and clipping all over the place. And then there's stuff that doesn't make sense, like, if a Titan is on the ground because I incapatitated him, then he should not in the next frame be standing tall just because I initiated a Special Attack with a comrade!

I wish this game was more polished, because at it's core is a fun and addicting gameplay loop that I wish I could enjoy more. I will not regret playing this game, I will only regret what it was so close to being...

awesome game but feels a lot more different than the anime with weirder titans and even weirder dialog changes. It would be a lot better if they didn't add bizarre titans and stupidly annoying to kill abnormal titans. I also find it odd that Levi is always asking for help when he himself is worth like 1000 soldiers. There is a stupid amount of scout missions that need be done before continuing the campaign after trost. I have played 14 hours and i am still on the scout missions. but the game is lots of fun.

Absolutely fantastic. I played it for like 12 hours straight (RIP my sleep) and I still cant get enough of it. 10/10 recommend.

The Game is so Much Fun i just wish the devs would put out more content for it or fix the bugs that have been on it for quite some time now, inferno mode (Ofcourse) is super freakin hard that i had to get a bit of help from the outside and alot of research had to happen when it came to gathering materials but overall i had alot of fun

I don't know if it's just the PC version, but I can't stand how many bugs there are. The amount of times I've had to reload the game because I keep randomly getting locked into walking off screen of phasing through walls at random, stuck between Titans and in an infinite loop where I can't move other than rapidly glitch up and down, get stuck on walls, pulled in directions I'm not even aiming is enough to make me completely crash out. It's sad because I really, REALLY love this game a lot for what it COULD be. It's addictive and I keep coming back because I love AOT so much, but this is utterly ridiculous. Certain scenes have specific bugs I'm realizing, like the introduction to Levi makes it so I can't move forward or even control the direction I'm walking nor camera. I'm not sure if it's something that's been fixed later on or what as I'm newish to Steam and playing, but I just can't seem to enjoy the game long term without it setting me off when I keep getting stuck in these glitches that make certain parts nearly impossible to play.

Very fun but where are the English voice actors? Its kinda hard to read their dialogue while zooming around and killing titans(or being killed BY titans..) The mechanics to the game are amazing though, and I love the story!

Absolutely amazing game. Exploring all the environments from the show. Movement is a little complicated at first but once you get the hand of it you will move fluidly. I have 300 plus hours on console so i'm use to using a controller. now on PC you can rebind the buttons which makes playing on controller a lot more viable. If you have a controller with back paddles it will help you a lot. There are a ton of game modes and content to keep you playing for hundreds of hours.

I gotta say, the game is really fun and hype. But then you get to the grinding part in the end game and it becomes more of a chore than anything.

Worst ending ever. Not worth it.

This is the definitive edition of AOT: Wings of freedom, so for anyone who wants to play an AOT game, skip the first one as it is already included in this game. It follows the season 1 and 2 of the anime with the final battle dlc including the season 3. Game is a bit wonky at the beginning but once you get a good grasp at the controls, it is a fun musou game that follows the story of the anime except that this time, in the eys of your own character. However, if you plan to complete the game's achievements to 100 % completion, it will be a very grindy ride and to reduce that, play TRM and get Kitz caramaderie to 5 to get elimination bounty to reduce it for a bit.

It has some bugs here and there and the most prominent during my playthrough is the random crashing especially during long game hours and then there is the "No audio output detected" warning that would crash the game from time to time. Other than this, it is a solid game.

Final note. If you plan to buy the game, just buy it during sale and considering how Koei Tecmo games rarely goes to sale, grab the opportunity if you want to play the game.

If you're into the Musou genre (Warriors/Heroes style of games) then this one is more or less in that same alley. Instead of following their hack and slash combat arrangement, this song and dance is more of a positioning and timing minigame. It doesn't change too much depending on your builds or allies and you can technically elect to run firearms for a bit of diversity and less timing but after a while the missions begin to blend together, regardless of the difficulty.

Like most Musou games, this one will be fun as just a pasttime thing rather than a premiere focus, especially nowadays when the online is dead. Some of the side objectives in the endgame can make for some pretty engaging encounters so while it can get repetitive, there are moments where it also feels decently rewarding for being efficient with your routing, items, and cooldowns... especially for the tasks with strict time limits!

The game has a ridiculous amount of content for what you're getting. While it's neat to see, a lot of it is much of the same, even if experienced in different modes. The side stories for each character relationship isn't too interesting and the animations are pretty unbaked in that regard, borderline dwelling on just standing there looking at the void. After a while I lost interest in some of them and just elected to skip their developments.

Not a universal recommend, just for Musou enjoyers or fans of the series. 100%ing this game is not for the faint of heart. It's a GRIND, brother.

Love the game play, its really fun having your own custom character input into the world of Attack On Titan. I really enjoy the choices you, as a player, can make when it comes to friendship with other characters and being able to really customize your own character. The game play isn't too complicated but also challenging enough to keep you entertained and invested in the game and the world.

This game is absolutely incredible, i dont have anything bad to say about it other than the fact the titans can be a little glitchy, but otherwise its insanely good

Like a dream come true, I've been wanting for a game based on this anime. The sense of travelling around with an ODM gear thrills me so much when I was a kid and this game fulfils it perfectly!

It is a fun, adventurous game full of options with a limitless amount of of imagination in each. It follows the story line in story mode and has many different opportunities to have so much. I highly reccamend.

The famous tired looking hypersomniac, "Codine Mikasa Hypersomniackermann" Strikes in this game, despite the codine and hypersomnia manages to stay awake long enough to crash into wall and cut the legs off a titan, at least the commands slurred out of her mouth manage to convey either a Playboi Carti adlib, or a sign to just kill the thing.

the ODM gear is so fun to use

I'll try this game on another platform, because it does look somewhat fun. But holy shit, I've been trying to make this game run on my system for an hour and I just can't be bothered anymore. I have a 3060 and Ryzen 9 7950X3D 16-Core CPU. My system is good, and it should run this 7 year old game with no problem whatsoever, but as soon as I load into the game and all the cut scenes end it's like I'm being treated to a slide show. I lowered the graphics settings to as low as they would go, lowered the screen resolution until I felt like I was watching a 2007 youtube video, and after all that, I get a solid 30 fps.
Better than the slide show, so I just say whatever and keep playing. Then I get to the second gameplay section after creating my character... and the game crashes.

I hope the switch or PS4 version is more stable, because this is the worst port of a game I've ever experienced.
