way more fun than i anticipated
played a handful of games of this genre and typically the brawling concept ruins the experience
not the case with this one, doesn't take away from the sick plays
passing and bank shots are satisfying, team play feels rewarding
issues i see at this time, no players, no 2v2 online pvp and no spectator for private matches
hopefully this game stays alive
seemed fun, until me and my friend tried to search online together and couldn't. who wants a game where you can only play custom game or search online on your own, fix your shit
This game is not bad timekiller and I don't advice to buy this game.
Game is fun overall, but the controls seem to be a bit clunky. Hopefully that can be addressed in a future patch/update. Other than that, I recommend.
This game is a lot of fun, my friend and I have been practicing in a private match against bots for a little over an hour and felt ready to go online and play a 2v2 against 2 random people..
However, we did not realize you CANT actually play a 2v2 against real people. Which kind of killed the mood and excitement we had...
I seen that a real 2v2 mode is coming, not sure when. I guess I just assumed that a game advertising 2v2 would have released with this mode already built in..
All in all, its fun, just need that mode.
Very good game! But it's pretty dead. No human players. Only recommended if you like playing against bots. I don't so I refunded.
The best game in the world that I love (I love HyperBrawl) is undoubtedly the best and most interesting game

This is a unique and fun game. I think it should be more popular, since it deserves it.
I have some suggestions, though: In multiplayer (blitz), I'm not quite sure that I play with an actual player. There are always random names which doesn't look like Steam player names. Or maybe I'm wrong? To clear that confusion, the actual names should be given, if they're random names.
And I received some achievements very quickly. I'm not sure if I really earn them, or achivement system counts wrong. Or it counts my playtime during beta? I dont know.
One other thing is that the game needs to make its player base larger, so play!
Loved this game especially as a single player!
I'm the type of person who has literally only played like one genre of game ever (BL2 + BL3) and I don't venture away from these games very often but I’m glad I did for this! This game is so awesome! As a single-player I found it extremely fun to play, even the skill challenges were infuriating but so fun! I was glad there was a 'story' mode too as I don't often play games online/with friends. Although I will keep to myself how many own goals I have scored...Maybe I need the help.
This game has the perfect mix of chaotic-ness and difficulty level which makes it extremely addicting, The art is stunning and the sound effects are brilliant. It strikes me as a game that should be more expensive. The soundtrack is also equally great!
I will deffo be playing this again and recommending my friends to get it.
Fun mechanics, looks great, wide range of unique maps/heros/weapons.
Only issues i have are with the bots on my team; they only shoot when right on the enemies goal line and there is no option to change to automatic switching after the tutorial.
Gameplay is good, if it has a 1v1 maybe I will continue playing, you need to have an ally and that sucks as you will still depend on someone, if they disconnect or not good in playing, then your efforts are wasted.
I would have continued this if it has a local multiplayer in one computer, but it only has an offline version where you play locally, meaning you must have another PC for the other local player and they must have the game as well. I tried playing a controller, but no player 2 option appeared.
If those 2 issues are fixed, this a really great game, but devs might not even consider feedbacks, I will refund and just wait if it happens before I buy again.
For a game that flew under my radar for about a month.... a ton of fun.
I mean, big huge heaping pile of fun.
I mean really spectacular, the sort that will make you shout when you score.
HOW IT PLAYS
It's a 2v2 exercise - players can be human or AI, in whatever combo. (some mode limits do apply)
The object of the game is to achieve the highest score.
Fundamentally, the game plays a lot like speedball - you grab the ball, run it, pass it back and forth, and shoot it into the opponent's goal/net; the opponents try to stop you, recapture the ball, do the same in your net; result is constant scramble.
Shooting feels really good - you have full directional control; you can charge and bank your shots, and additionally have the ability to curve the ball.
As you move across the field, you have the ability to fight and KO opponents - you can punch, kick, and use weapons.
There are a series of interesting fields - they introduce variables to play (shifting floors, moving walls, obstacles that must be dodged, etc.)
You work as a team - opportunity for lots of teamwork, passing ball back and forth, shifting into different roles at different times, applying different strategies and tactics.
There are some pretty cool maneuvers at your disposal - the characters can do dramatic dives to catch the ball, and you can even use ball like a weapon, charging it and throwing it at opponents to clear the way.
There is a power up dynamic - you gradually charge up as you get pounded by the opponent, and then you eventually enter a "hyper" state, where for a brief burst of time, you hit harder, run faster, etc.
Games are fast - best of three rounds, plus sudden death where needed; each around is about a minute and a half.
All of this combines into a rock solid competitive game experience that really shines.
PLUS:
It has characters with attributes - each character has strengths and weaknesses (strength, speed, ability to curve ball, and health)
At the start of the game, you can pick a weapon of your choice (grapple hook, ball magnet, homing mine, booster pack, shield wall, etc.).
WHAT IT FEEL LIKE:
I mean, my goodness... Speedball, meets Brawlhalla, meets League of Legends, meets Rocket League, meets Mutant League, meets Bloodbowl, meets Powerball, meets Pitball... WOWSA.
CONS
A tiny bit of menu wonk, but you get used to it; not miserable, and only effects menu experience.
It does take about an hour to get comfy with all the controls, abilities, etc.; But once you practice for a bit. it become quite fluid and natural.
No cross play yet, but it is on every platform.
SUMMARY
It's great and promising, quite accessible, something very special.
Play is fast, smooth, fun and dramatic.
I could definitely see this game catching on if it gets sufficient exposure.
There is enough here to like a lot.
It is definitely filling a niche.
It is fantasy sports the way it was meant to be done, and there is plenty of room for this one to keep growing.
Find a friend and play... Rare game that is honestly worth every penny.
I'm hooked.
Huge downside that I didn't realize until after I bought it. A friend and I bought it thinking we'd play online multiplayer 2v2. Nope. Online queue (blitz mode) is only 1v1. You can only play with friends in a private match. Gameplay itself was only "OK". Not worth the full price I paid. Returned the game. Would not recommend at current price.

This game is very fun and addictive. It certainly a good choice to play at a party and with groups of friends. It can take sometime to get use to the controls and players movement, for me I did the tutorial about 3 times before attempting to brawl.
If you're into games like Rocket League and Super Smash, I highly recommend you check this one out.
I have been playing the demo's of this game over the recent months and have really been looking forward to the full release of this game.
The game is very fast paced and very frantic perfect for twitch gamer's who love there fingers to always be doing something.
It has various game modes plenty to keep me busy Arcade for practising, Campaign for single player action, Private Mode so I can play with my friends and Blitz mode where I can battle against the community. Additionally it has lots of free customisations which I can apply to my characters.
I have been struggling to find online matches with actual humans, but I am sure this will improve over the coming days as more and more people start playing the game.
Finally, I really like the strategy in the game, choosing the right weapon for a match really does make a difference so choose wisely.
Pros: Super fun game. Music is fantastic. Reminds me of Tron: Legacy and I found myself nodding my head numerous times. I feel the game is a mix of smashbros, soccer, and dodgeball. Really easy to pick up and I got hooked right away. Started off my play with 5 campaign wins and 11 straight online wins - 1 short of the double gold trophy :(
Cons: One power up seems overpowered already so hope its' refresh time gets nerfed. Online matchmaking can take a little bit. Not sure if it is due to few players online or too many. I frequently would be matched up with the same player and even after backing out to avoid said player and starting up matchmaking again, sure enough the same player was there.

super fun, the meta is enjoyable, unlike a lot of these hero soccer type games. no being stuck as goalie without action for minutes on end. very fast paced, chaotic at first until you learn abilities, doesnt take more than 5-6 hours to have a good understanding of everything.
HUGE downside is no online mm 2v2, its a 2v2 game but the matchmaker FORCES you to play with a bot, you CAN CONTROL the bot, but its still so much worse than a regular 2v2 could be.
The gameplay seems interesting, but at least as it stands right now I don't think this is worth $20. As-is this is what I expect of a free w/ cosmetic MTX game, rather than $20 PLUS the cosmetic MTX
Got locked up in the tutorial and couldn't continue after the second mission.
Once I left and came back, I played 3 rounds "online" which turned out to be entirely against bots without actually making it clear that it was against bots. If you see a "Name_Name Character" that's a bot.
My first real game against another person was me at level 1 vs a level 12, and he instantly scored or KO'd me then scored every round. Neither skill or progression based matchmaking seems to work yet.
Controls, at least with Keyboard and Mouse, seem unresponsive at times. Graphics are okay, but even my 10900k/1080Ti has some random frame drops which I don't see in large scale AAA titles.
Upon further review, this game has been out for over a year as a free game in the iOS arcade, so I was right in assuming this is a mobile port, and it shows.
