Begin your career as a humble page and complete the first three missions to achieve knighthood.
First, you must find and rebuild the chapel of a long-forgotten Goddess, but also confront the Master Vampire, Lord Malbor, an agent of the God of Death and Magic. Your path is not an easy one. Dark forests and dangerous swamps lie in your path, full of undead and other nameless horrors. You will encounter allies and enemies alike, so choose your steps wisely!
Your second quest is to find the God of Orcs and uncover a secret conspiracy. Something is happening up North, on the snow-covered plains of Yria. The goblinoid races are assembling to form a massive army– lead by their God. Are you up to the task of discovering what's really happening? You must stop these evil forces in order to save your country, and beyond this, break one more of chains to help free the Goddess.
The third mission is your most dangerous so far. After receiving a set of strange rune-sticks, you must journey to the Coastless Lake. Here, you must explore swamp villages, abandoned islands, and hidden forests to find the enchanted weapon, Wyrmslayer. Only this will enable you to defeat the terrible dragon Xaraxorn, Death on Wings.
In addition to the rich story, Narborion Saga is filled with random encounters, dungeons, and loot – beyond your hero’s journey through the narrative, there is plenty more to discover!
When you feel strong enough, you can try your skill in the Arena, battling monsters from across the realm. And then face the most difficult challenge – pit your character against fellow players in a PvP duel!
Whether you favor ax, bow, or rapier, whether you most enjoy a rich storyline, leveling-up your character, or becoming the most renowned warrior on the server, Narborion Saga offers something to please every RPG fan. Download it today and begin your saga!

Character creation took longer than my first battle where I got defeated.
Narborion Saga is yet more shovelware from the asset flippers at Volens Nolens Games/Enoops. These guys do nothing but copy premade game templates and game tutorials, fill out a few things/stamp out basic levels using the construction kit templates, slap on an asset flipped set of sprites/assets, and dump them on Steam and into cheap nasty shovelware game bundles as cash grabs. Trying to get paid for someone else's game templates, assets... at best, this is shovelware, at worst, it's a scam/cash grab.
This time it's a bit of a doozy. The game doesn't belong to Volens/Enoops, but they're selling it anyway. They somehow got their hands on someone else's mobile app conversion of a low grade Choose Your Own Adventure/Fighting Fantasy ripoff paperback (you know the ones where you make up stats and roll dice and fill out combat sheets with your pencil, ah, you're probably not old enough). Anyway that's what this is, it's a PC port of a mobile port of a B-grade ripoff paperback Choose Your Own Adventure. Ugh.
Liber Primus Games/Volens Nolens Games have shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab, through this account or through closely linked/alt accounts. Here's some examples so you can see for yourself:
- "Book of Shadows" = Polygon Western - Low Poly 3D Art Pack developed by Synty Studios
- "Deadly Threat" = POLYGON Dungeons - Low Poly 3D Art by Synty developed by Synty Studios
- "Little Adventure" = AB1 - Fantasy Platformer bundle developed by Yoyogames
- "Little Adventure 2" = AB1 - Fantasy Platformer bundle developed by Yoyogames
[*] "Mighty Vikings" = Polygon Vikings Pack developed by Synty Games
Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. For starters, it's just bad... badly written, terrible encounter design... you get a somewhat bewildering array of stats, feats, skills and inventory items to start the game with... and for the most part none of it matters because the Choose Your Own Adventure component will kill you way quicker than any of the badly designed combat will. And this is extraordinarily bad... if that's a defect of the mobile app or the way it was ported to PC, doesn't matter. It's incredibly sluggish. When you start out it seems ok, but very quickly you'll find each click takes ages to resolve... once I made my character it took 2-3 minutes to start the game... then it hung (at least I think it did... nobody gonna wait 5 minutes to see if this is broke or just slow, it's trash!).
There's no options to change the resolution for the mobile app or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this mobile app is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this mobile app will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality mobile phone graphics.
The mobile app interface is mostly just text boxes/dialogs and features mostly static, barely animated 2D images, the kind of thing you expect to see in browser/HTML games from the 1990s. While that might be fine for the 1990s, gaming has evolved a lot since then, the ATI Rage became mainstream in 1996... it's 2023, and that kind of thing just won't fly anymore, it's just not visually up to scratch.
The controls can't be customised because the game has such a dumbed down, simplified interface that it's just iPhone screen tapping stuff. The fact that the interface is this dumbed down might be seen as a problem in itself, however... this is a fairly shallow experience if you're the kind of gamer that likes to play games with deep, rich control schemes and interaction. You'll get none of that here.
Because this is a mobile app, it carries a number of deliberate design deficiencies. Compromises were made to cater to the iPhones that the mobile app was designed for. These are unfortunate handicaps and limitations that PC gamers shouldn't be forced to accept, but it's evident that PC was an afterthought for the iPhone developers who are to blame for this. The mobile app is deficient as a result of these choices, and would have been so much better without the handicaps that designing games for mobile phones forces upon a game. Once more, mobile devs have made gaming worse for everyone. I didn't spend thousands on building a gaming rig just so I could pretend it's an iPhone.
Some of the defects in the mobile app can be attributed to the poor choice of using node-webkit/NW.js instead of a serious game engine. This is a very poor quality toolset for gaming, sometimes used by amateur developers as it doesn't require advanced game development skills, but unfortunately has very limited capabilities because it's primary function for games is to make simple HTML/browser/simple mobile apps rather than full fledged PC games (and given we are here for PC games, you can see why this is a problem). Just as you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear, you can't make a great video game if you use a terrible engine.
These technical defects push this mobile app below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
Reviewing SteamDB to check how popular this mobile app was with players reveals a surprise... there's a very healthy spike in player counts for the mobile app. But this only appears around the same time that trading cards were applied to the mobile app... so this is just card idlers getting their cards and moving on. A closer look at the numbers shows the mobile app just has a couple of players every week running up the mobile app and idling it for cards, then deleting it. We must ask how it benefits gamers for there to be so many games like this, with no merit as a serious game, that only generate sales from people idling and selling the trading cards.
It's also important to note the "developer" here has connections to a number of shady Russian asset flippers and review manipulators who show an organised pattern to scam and defraud gamers with fake reviews and asset flipping the work of others for profit. While reviews are about the games, gamers should be informed when developers act unethically. Whether these connections are the same developer using multiple accounts, or just working closely with other unethical developers, gamers should be warned about the harm to gamers by this developer and their associates. Buying games from unethical developers puts your money at risk.
Once more we see greedy mobile devs trying to scam PC gamers. On Steam, this is $3 USD, on app stores, it's free. Mobile devs must learn PC gamers are not here to be gouged, and can't be expected to pay a premium for a free mobile app just because it's been lazily dumped on Steam. This is unacceptable disrespect for PC gamers. Because this can be played free elsewhere, and because of the other defects, it's impossible to recommend. Who do they think we are?
Im still trying this game out. it does have some glitches. But I like the choose your own way style
Alt+F4 resulting bugs, trash development from "Im not a player but I can assemble pictures for you", lacking features, sucking HUD. Also theres a way to have pretty broken character since the beggining (18-18-18-16 stats and +18 skill points). What a fucking pain this game was to play it.
The game of TINGS
that's all you're going to hear , ting ting ting, as you miss over and over, rarely do i feel this ripped off
extremely slow, irritating and boring
Will update the review as I play, liking it as a true RPG-experience so far.
I mean, this is a great game and fun to play. But the random high level mobs who oneshot you are a bit too much. I think it needs a bit more userfriendly explanations to some things and features in the game.
There are some glitches with the text, where it doesn't show you the correct form/lenght of starting a new episode. It just cuts the text in half.
The game is buggy, though admittedly the devs are pretty good about fixing them as they show up. The writing is beautiful; music is repetitive. At the end of the day, I found the game too frustrating, I wish I could get my money back. I'm sure there are plenty of people that will like this game; it's not an objectively bad game. I just see it only appealing to a very niche crowd.
I love the game so far. Nice story, there is a feeling of exploration, good RPG system, nice writing, turn based combat. Of course, the game is all about indie, kinda reminds me Knights of the Chalice, but I love such games.
