Your choices will change how factions react, will alter encounters and will decide the ending that you get. It uses a realtime pausable combat system with multiple elements that add depth, like morale, positioning, combos...
Morale
When you kill enough enemies in a fight the rest will run away. Can't you defeat that heavily armoured ogre? Don't worry, kill the goblins and the ogre is gone.Choose your own adventure with 6 different endings
Depending on your choices both the story and the reaction of the factions will change.Deep real time pausable combat
Pause whenever you want during combat, give orders to your heroes, take your time to think your next move and coordinate the actions of your characters. Flank enemies for extra damage while avoiding being flanked, use shields to block frontal attacks, and much more.Combos and armour types
Some abilities and effects can be combined together to produce a stronger effect. For example: Use cold on soaked enemies and they will freeze. Wind on burning enemies will increase the burning. There are 3 different armour types, and you need to adapt your gameplay and equipment to face different enemies.
Karma
Instead of random results for encounters, you are equipped with Karma tokens. Use the good ones, and everything will be fine, but in the end you will use all of them, therefore you can't always win.Enviromental hazards
In some combats you need to worry not only about the enemy, but also about the environment. Fire, lava, falling rocks, water pools... Be careful with them and use them to your advantage.Permadeath
If all your heroes die, that's it. But you can recruit more heroes to make your group stronger.Replayability
Procedurally generated regions, different sides of the same story, varied unlockable heroes, weapons and abilities keep the game interesting on subsequent runs.Поддерживаемые языки: english

Unresponsive controls when clicking on a character i either can't select them or they don't do the action i told them to do such as cast a spell. Its as if am clicking on an empty space instead of a interface button. This becomes a problem when moving my characters during combat where my magic users just keep on charging headlong into a group of giant orcs as i click on another part of map for them to move but due to unresponsive controls they end up marching to their death.
Similar issues happen when leveling up characters or selecting items in the inventory where i have to click multiple times where i usually never am able to get the game to do the selected action.
To be asking for $19.99 plus tax for such a shoddy product is pretty lame. Sadly the game is just not worth the hassle.
Game crashes in tutorial constantly. Text appear outside of text boxes. Some images have weird outlines around them.
Fastes refund I ever made.
Without the bugs and odd, cheap interface design decisions, this would be an easy 8/10.
This is a really fun game that resembles the Heroes of Might and Magic games but with more of an emphasis on RPG elements and a choose your own adventure approach to navigating the world. The overall approach is simple, but effective and provides great replay value.
I couldnt find much to like about this game. Its billed as a real-time-with-pause strategy RPG but the end result is... not so much. The graphics are cartoony and uninspired, animations are choppy and bizarre. Its entirely possible to have a great looking game despite minimal animation (ie Darkest Dungeon). Dialogue is bare bones and extremely simple, though this is in part due to non-native English speaking devs. Each location is a simple screen with an interaction and/or combat- so there is really not much to explore.
Character development is pretty much nonexistant. You can only customize minally through gear and assigning a few skill points. Combat is from a sideview, rather than isometric or top down, which makes combat awkward- its hard to tell how you're aligned with enemies and if you're giving up flanking. Ultimately I guess this would be ok as a mobile game, but theres not much incentive to play on PC- theres just many other, better games out there.
Fun game, but it's overpriced at $16, as it's probably only several hours gameplay.
Things I like:
a.) the difficulty
b.) you can do play throughs
Things I don't like
a.) game is short, play through is limited options as you always have to have the warrior and mage
b.) a great number of bugs right now.
Game right now would be worth it at $5. Once everything is fixed, maybe $10 in my opinion
Combat is pretty juicy so far.

This game is really laggy during some battle scenes and it becomes unplayable and unpausable and must be closed. Walking during battles is frustrating sometimes because the characters choose to walk into other characters even when selecting what you think is the correct way around one.
So many random battles. Not enough random concepts, it seems theres just a handful of ideas of what your gonna get when you enter something. I did a few playthroughs and found I could remember almost every potential outcome because there was so few.
Many loading screens and lag issues. Noticing many crashing errors now as well
Fun game, lots of potential but many issues make it frustrating
If you're into old school roguelites with some new interesting game mechanics, you're in for a treat!
It is a really interesting game. The dynamics of the fights are entertaining and the story engages. Very good game.
Great game! I would highlight that it's a game that requires strategy in the fight and stands out for the tactical options during combat. I liked the feeling of exploring the terrain and discovering new lands. And finally I enjoyed the influence of the decisions in the game that make the possibilities of the game widen.
An entertaining game highly recomended.
Surprisingly tactical roguelike.
I extorted money from goblins, made some demons work for me and sacrificed one of my allies.
But I also enjoyed resource management and the fact that the choices you make change the way other factions treat you and how you have to adapt to each situation.
The combat is really hard if you don't use the pause, so I recommend to pause frequently, first think about the next action, give the order to the characters and then unpause.
If you like RPGs with tactical combat or choose your own adventure games I surely recommend you to give it a try.
Very good game. I totally recommend it. It has a lot of original ideas that mix up really well.
The way it is played, you explore, fight and move forward.
Exploration: Similar to renowned explorers or FTL, but you need to think more where you want to go, and resources management is very important. You cant visit all locations, as there is an army moving behind you, as in FTL.
During this exploration sometimes you get involved with factions, and what you do changes encounters. If you annoy a faction, they will charge more for services, fight you...
Fight: A lot of tactical options. There is a morale system that allows you to kill only some enemies, so you need to decide which enemies have more priority. There are also many other options, like flanking, use of shields... Very fun all in all.
The best part of the fight for me was the encounters where there is something else going on, like water on the place or regions that drain or give mana.
For me the best part was seeing how my actions change the encounters, but the fights with extra effects are also very nice. At some point you can get abilities exclusive to the factions that you helped, and that is also very cool.
Addictive and original. It has a little bit of everything: resources management, exploration, follow your own adventure plus challenging combats. Also, great replayability.
Some decisions are tough! Keeps you thinking what would have happened if you picked a different option!
8/10
Last Days of Tascaria is a very interesting take on the rogue like genre. The combat system is really innovative, making it a mixture between real time action and turn-based. The story is somewhat intriguing and it is told due to text-based cutscenes throughout the game. I have really enjoyed my experience with the game and i will really recommend it to those fans of turn-based RPGs that also fancy a little to control where their character is on screen.
The graphical design suits perfectly the story and it seems lot of care has been put to distinguish each character. Though beating the main campaing could be a matter of hours (if you are really really skilled, this game is tough!!!), its replayability value is really high as the story and the environment is procedurally generated.
My only complain with the game (that i am sure developers will fix in the retail version) is the lack of a proper tutorial. I know a tutorial exists which explains you how to maneuver in battle but there is little information about the different elements in the UI. I miss the times of instruction booklets (but it's not their fault)! (why not including one digitally within the game, in the options secton)
To sum up, congratulations on your great work and i will keep an eye on your future works
It plays a little bit like FTL, but you have to think more about which building you want to visit, as each one gives different resources. Probably will not have as much replay value as FTL but is a good game.
