Monsters beyond your imagination, and you: The Manager.
Monsters beyond your imagination, and you: The Manager. Monsters beyond your imagination, and you: The Manager. A roguelite monster-management simulation inspired by the likes of the SCP Foundation, Cabin in the Woods, and Warehouse 13. Order your employees to perform work with the creatures and watch as it unfolds; harness greater energy, and expand the facility. One disaster will lead to another, until everything has fallen into chaos. “I give you a warm welcome to Lobotomy Corporation.”Lobotomy Corporation is a roguelite monster-management simulation.
Our game was inspired by the monsters birthed of various inspirations featured in games, film, and series, such as the SCP Foundation, Cabin in the Woods, and Warehouse 13. Going further, it was developed with this thought: “What if those monsters were real, and your job were to manage them?”
You will be playing as the Manager of Lobotomy Corporation, a company in which such creatures are contained and managed. Order your employees to perform work with and on the creatures and watch the results expectantly. Gather energy produced by the monsters and fulfill the quota each day, expand the facility, and manage even more strange beings. In this game, the player will face an ever-present sense of tension and dread as they progress through each day.
“Our new technology will bring salvation to humanity.”
Lobotomy Corporation is a newly established energy company that isolates Abnormalities and extracts an infinite amount of energy from them by using independently developed technology, or so it seems on the outside. Join the corporation, and witness the true reality with your own eyes.
Lobotomy Corp. consists of several departments, much like any other company. You will have access to various departments as you harness more energy. The more departments you have unlocked, the more efficient the management of Abnormalities will become.
Furthermore, AIs such as Angela and the ‘Sephirot’ will be at your side to provide all the assistance you need for smooth progression.
Beings that you must constantly research and observe.
We dubbed the creatures that reside in Lobotomy Corporation, ‘Abnormalities’.
You will have to try your best to keep your employees out of danger while extracting as much energy as possible from the Abnormalities. However, you must learn what types of work you should and shouldn’t perform via trial and error.
You start with zero information on the Abnormalities. At first, your eyes, ears, and the in-game manual will be your only hints. Let your intuition pick the work type that might suit the Abnormality best. After that, order the employee who is best suited for the job to work on the Abnormality, and wait for the results. In the process of managing Abnormalities, you will gain the power of information.
The amount of energy you can acquire from Abnormalities will depend heavily on the type of work your employees perform.
This is NOT a tycoon.
As mentioned before, Abnormalities are beings that need to be treated with great care. Some might dislike the idea of being locked inside a Containment Unit, and may sometimes attempt to breach containment.
A breaching Abnormality will attack every employee in sight and disrupt the facility’s systems. Worse still, it could open up other units and cause more Abnormalities to escape. Furthermore, employees eroded or corrupted by certain Abnormalities will have a greatly adverse influence on other employees. Employees brainwashed by Abnormalities might randomly attack those around them, wholly oblivious to what they are doing. In addition, employees may go insane from serious psychic trauma, disobeying your orders and damaging the psyche of other employees around them.
One disaster leads to another, until everything has fallen into chaos.
If you fail to resolve a situation immediately, it will ultimately spiral out of control and throw the whole facility into chaos. When such a situation does occur, you will have to gather employees to suppress any threat and regain control of the situation, or give up parts of the facility to ensure the company’s safety.
“Tell me, manager. Do you have any wishes?”
The game consists of two main portions: Monster Management and visual Story Segments.
Once a day of managing Abnormalities and producing energy ends, the story segment will follow right afterward.
In the Story Segments, dialogue with Angela (the AI you’ll also be seeing occasionally in the management portion of the game) and the Sephirot will play. As you progress through the missions they give, you will come closer to the truth hidden deep in the company. You may have to ask questions, or answer questions from others. Here, you will uncover the secrets surrounding the company and yourself, and mayhaps even more.
“Hello, X.”
“I give you a warm welcome to Lobotomy Corporation.”

Great game with great concept focused on capturing and managing monsters similar to SCP. Also has great story behind the monsters and the facility in which you are detaining them. I would 100% recommend it, if you are into different mythological type beings and story focused games. ProjectMoon please release Lobotomy Corporation 2.
Horribly buggy without mods, but otherwise enjoyable experience if you love tormenting yourself, others, or both!
10/10 story, it touched me in all the right places
Totally good and not mentally consuming. Face the fear, build the future
Probably my favorite game as of writing this, Absolutely phenomenal game, amazing story, and banger soundtrack.
This game simultaneously gives me rage-induced stomach ulcers and makes me go "yaaay wheeee this is so much fun!!"
this game gave me several cancer tumors and had forcefully aged me to become 80. 10/10 great story
A management sim for the masochistic, or those who can't focus on any other management sim
Most people will find issues with the gameplay, but I really liked the gameplay so I don't know what to say
It has what some would call "Bullshit difficulty", however, most people get into Project Moon and stay with it because of the story
Those devs in Korea cooked so hard with the story of all their games, and if you can afford it, Lobotomy Corporation is the start, recap videos are good, but are no substitute to the real thing, suffering through the gameplay and reveling in your success upon reaching the ending is absolutely worth it, playing the games simply for the story will be 100% worth it, and if you plan to play the rest, you simply have to play in chronological order
LobCorp is very hard, but has so many other redeeming qualities that make it so worth your money
Especially on a sale cuz I got it for $7.50
A profound and challenging game that not only tests decision-making abilities, but also triggers contemplation on human emotions and social systems. This game is not only a simulation about work and control, but also a journey of reflection on modern human nature and morality
Managing horrific, grotesque monsters and witnessing absurd amounts of death has never looked so cute!
9/10 the SCP foundation never trained me for this
warning: this game gives anyone who plays it stockholm syndrome. 10/10
game crashes a lot. i need to play quickly in order to lower the amount of crashes but i dont really like playing the game like that, and even then the game can still crash and i've lost many many hours of progress

8.9 HOURS IN:
day 10, the game is really good so far, the only abnormality that can actually escape from containment right now is the punishment bird.
I like managing the employees and memorizing the abnormalities and their rules, the game is very rewarding if you are someone that plays games in an overly-meticulous way.
will edit review on day 20, 30, 40, and finally 50 when i have completed the game

47.3 HOURS IN
finished day 20, i have definitely made some mistakes, i lost one of my level 5 employees to the flesh idol because of forgetting about them, and a good chunk of newbie agents to the violent noon event where it just summons 3 giant obelisks out of nowhere and destroy your employees. the game is a lot more difficult but i still enjoy it, i have heard this is where the game really starts.

I love how interesting the lore is behind each abnormality and I like learning how to manage them. I get very satisfied when I'm able to overcome challenges and make my nuggets strong enough to handle anything. It feels very fair when something in the facility goes wrong because of me forgetting about something and I feel like I can do better next time. I will say some stuff is a bit annoying like reverse stat checks and clerks being an overall pain and this game is definitely hard and only for masochists but I love it.
Still haven't beat it, not even halfway. It's absolutely unforgiving. I can't say I haven't thoroughly enjoyed it thus far, though.
I loved the storytelling, would recommend a mod to reduce grinding because oh my god. Amazing game, would recommend to pretty much anyone.
Interesting game but put it down once you hit a wall and look up the story, otherwise you will start to hate it.
Great fun but takes too much of my time to progress through trial and error, and from what I've observed from other people, takes too long to complete, particularly when resetting is needed. Interesting world and story. I'm going to watch the rest on youtube. I've had me fun and now, it's time for me to put it down before I start seeing it as too annoying.
If you want to know how it feels like to be a ruthless and careless manager of a site while at the same time being tortured emotionally, this is for you.
The UI and control keybindings are stupidly explained because this is PM's traditional problem. The game is all about suffer from grinding to death and crying for those unfaithful employee becomes snack for the abnormalities. Weaklings should consider if they want to suffer or not o7.
I can't help with thinking this game actively plays with my feelings
project moon created an abomination that should never be played again. but also its absolute cinema
Great game, but upon becoming a fan of it i forgot how to read. Still a 910 out of 10.
This is the first purchase I made on Steam and it was genuinely worth it. I have never loved a game this much and though it is VERY difficult at times and I'm not exactly great at it, there's a lot to love and I think it's rather underrated among Project Moon's three games. It is definitely rather buggy and its lack of updates shows, but it doesn't ruin the experience as one may think and the challenging gameplay does make it feel even more rewarding to keep playing, even if it's not a live service game.
I love the abnormalities and Nothing There is a puppy and you'd better believe it.
alright this game is so heat but i literally hate the difficulty spike at the end of the game so much that if you hate losing and dont wanna cheat then dont buy this game but if you are fine with cheating that honestly go for it i love all my sephirot like binah and tiphereth and baby hod and not hokma :)
game has lots of fun surprises it's cool i think, if you see a ZAYIN there's a chance it's one of the coolest abnormalities in the game or the most boring, depends which one you choose. good game
peak storytelling peak everything except the train FUCK THE FUCKING TRAIN KILL THE TRAIN KILL THE TRAIN
The game is incredibly good but the only downside possible is that the difficult spike is way more than verticak
All agents live, Life good. Half die to small incident, wanna end myself. Overall great game if you wanna either watch your work crumble or thrive. 10/10, wouldn't recommend.
its not for everyone. But for me? One of the most unique experiences I've ever had, its no lie to say that it changed my life.
When i first played it i was broke, but now i am glad to have bought it at last
mm masochism simulator at it's peak. the soundtrack in general is really good, and a lot of the abnormalities are really cool! in my opinion this game is a 10/10, if it goes on sale, and you like the idea of managing, basically scp's, then this game is perfect for you, there are bugs and some other stuff, but overall, it's a pretty fire game. not to mention, the story is really really good, as a fellow roleplayer who's rp'ed for a while, i can confidently say that this game has some really good lore and was made beautifully. also, just a tip, be careful of what abnormalities you decide to pick. 10/10 would recommend it 👍
if you are masochistic like management sims or you like commanding people then this game is for you
funny bug man gregor shockingly absent
despite being the first game made by the devs, this game is amazing foundation for the truly amazing franchise that they made after this game. if the first game with inexperienced devs is already a 8/10, then you KNOW their games are fire
it has some little problems but overall a very unique game with amazing story, art and music.
Started to really get into the game, it has blown me away like a kid hit by a car being turned into a red mist
My absolute favorite game, at least for the longest time. Good luck holding it together in this intense management sim! Hopefully you don't distort~
If you want to try this game out, be smarter than I was and avoid any spoilers that you can.
I don't want to say too much about this game. There were times when I felt like giving up on this game due to my own poor choices but in the end, it was all worth it.
Probably my favorite game as of writing this, Absolutely phenomenal game, amazing story, and banger soundtrack. Whatever you do, do NOT pick T-04-53 or Bald-Is-Awesome, you will regret it immensely
fuck this game please play with mods this game is actually trash if u dont
Banger, 8/10 great story but a couple huge difficulty spikes. took about 80hrs to finish 100% for me
Excellent game and story,
please be patient or you will lose your mind :)
the pain, the suffering this game makes you go through is like nothing else, this game is absolutely unique in so many ways, the unfiltered emotions this game makes you feel are only found here, and maybe in F&H.
this game feels like some underground, unbalanced mess because it is! the game became popular but the essense of it is still a failed kickstarter and a dream, and I haven't even mentioned the fact that Lob. Corp. is he cornerstone of the whole Project Moon universe, so, yeah
10/10
gameplay fun. cool music. charming artstyle. story is neat. recommend.
this game was honestly a total blast. aside from some bullshittery near the end of the game, i REALLY enjoyed this. it was literally the only thing i played for like two and a half weeks, and i did not get bored a single time.
for veteran players reading this: red mist, arbiter, apoc bird, and whitenight weren't too bad. never want to even think about day 49 again though.
for newer players: please, look up every abno before extracting it, and if ANY of them have the "escape when X employees die" or "escape when an abnormality breaches" condition, do NOT extract them. do not be afraid to look stuff up and ask for help, you will absolutely need that. don't be afraid to mem rep and retry days frequently, you should probably get used to it. oh, and for the love of god, expand binah and hokma's departments at the same time. you'll understand.'
overall, really fun game, i enjoyed every bit of it.
Beat the game, took me 182 hours. 10/10, truly an experience, especially the boss fights. Would not do it again.
its so stressful and you just kind of know that everything horrible that is happening to you is your fault. 11/10
I've enjoyed the little I've played so far, but I think it's important to note that the text is incredibly hard to see on the Steam Deck's screen. If you get it for your deck you'll need to stream it to a laptop for it to be legible enough that you won't get a head ache after 10 minutes.
This game is a very fun management sim 10/10 would reccomend, but if you get Express Train to Hell I feel bad and your day will be ruined many times.
I bought this at the same time as Library of Ruina; to be honest I was much more interested in that game, but when I heard that they were connected curiousity won out and I grabbed this as well. Good thing too, because Lobotomy Corp is way better!
They share a few quirks in common: they are both punishingly difficult with bad UI, and other weird design choices, but where they differ is that Lobotomy Corp is actually fun! Even when some magical heart monster broke out of containment and started massacring everyone, and my employees stopped listening to me in order to hang out with the friendly plague doctor, and everyone in my company was having an overall very bad time, I was still having a good one!
Yes, it is possible to be screwed over and put in basically unwinnable situations at first, but you learn as you go. I'm not even halfway through the game yet, but I'm getting a little closer every time! The story is also much more focused here, so I actually care to see what happens next. I'd recommend giving it a try, just know what you're getting into. (or don't, that could be exciting as well!)
Also, I heard this game had memory leaks, so I wrapped my entire laptop in masking tape ahead of time, and I don't see anything leaking out yet. Except for those weird butterflies, that is....
After finally getting the 100% ending and concluding this painful journey, I cried, not for the story or out of relief for finishing, but for how Frank, my favorite agent who had been with me since day 1, panicked at the last moment from a misclick and had to be put down. His story, as well as the stories of his friends Eugene, Xavier and Jose will always live on in my heart. I hope they are in a better place now.
10/10 would not recommend
Game is brutal, but you don't come away feeling like the difficulty was *complete* bs. The game definitely expects you to get used to resetting, and it would be extremely difficult to complete the game (and basically impossible to 100% it) without resetting at all.
While the gameplay isn't up to everyone's tastes, the story and music are in my opinion fantastic. If the gameplay doesn't appeal to you, and you're more interested in other games Project Moon has made (since they all connect with each other), I'd say at least watch story compilation videos on youtube. Good to note though, you might miss out on some cool things in the game by doing this, as story comps usually don't include things like the abnormalities (which are the monster like entities in this game), abnormality logs, or certain events that take place once you complete a few missions for a character.
Oh yeah, also this game does have a memory leak issue according to other people, so many in the community recommend modding the game to patch that and add a few other QoL features, but the game can be beaten without those if you prefer (I didn't mod the game at all and got 100%/True ending).
TLDR game good but game hard
cant figure out how to mod it put great game, would reccomend. Things to note are:
-the game is somewhat grindy
-knowledge is quite literally power which goes with the first point
-its insanely hard, therefore if you dont have the time to get good then dont buy it
-remember, this is a ROGUELITE so if you dislike those games then find a different game
