Новая игра-викторина "Древняя Русь" посвящена ряду интересных и знаменитых фактов отечественной истории IX-XIII века.
Игра в увлекательной форме рассказывает о событиях, культуре и выдающихся деятелях Древней Руси. Игрокам предлагаются вопросы, основанные на знаменитых фактах, последних исследованиях ученых и новейших археологических находках.
"Древняя Русь" посвящена периоду от прихода варягов до монголо-татарского нашествия. Каждая из миссий в игре содержит несколько десятков вопросов, которые снабжены подробными описаниями и разъяснениями.
Подборкой и редактурой фактов для игры занимается историк, посвятивший более 30 лет своему главному увлечению - изучению истории Древней Руси и Средних Веков.

Ancient Rus is an uninspired trivia/quiz game.
The only reason you would enjoy this game is if you are insanely deep into 'Ancient Rus' history, otherwise there are almost no chance you would like it. It is just back to back questions and answers, you can finish the game whether you're wrong or right and there's only a few lines of explanations after you choose your answer to explain what the right answer is, that's it.
With barebone graphics, one royalty-free track and 15-20 minutes of content, this game has absolutely zero replayability. The facts aren't engaging to entertaining, they're just about what names were 'X' people called or what 'Y' person did for 'Ancient Rus', etc.
Overall, exceptionally boring, short and uninteresting. Not recommended from me unless you're big into 'Ancient Rus'.

What this game is:
This is a simple quiz type game about Russia's ancient history.How does it perform?
You must answer questions regrouped in five chapters. A short introductory text may, or may not appear before each question. After answering, you will know if your answer was right or wrong. If you have enough good answers, you'll graduate to the next chapter. It works well enough, and has no bug that I could identify.The good points:
the gameplay is simple and relaxed, you play at your own pace. It is cheap and has both Achievements and Steam Tradiing Cards. It takes less than 300 MB of space on your HD and can be played by a 10 years old PC. All achievements are working and can be obtained through playing normally.The bad points:
The game is simply a succession of texts and questions, structured as if it were a powerpoint slide show. As such, it is unimaginative and very simple. The questions may at times be very unclear, which may be caused by the translation from Russian to English. This means that answering may often be merely a question of luck. The game is very short.Conclusion:
This game is basically cheap, and can be had at lower price from time to time. For what the game will provide you with, I can recommend buying it at a discount when it happens. It has many shortcomings, but you will learn some surprising facts about Russia's ancient history, and thus acquire some intellectual bling ;-)
