Only reviewing this to warn folks... I had this in my wishlist for a long time. Finally bought it on sale. I open the game and it just freezes. I can't "start" or even "quit." I have to close the window. No matter what I do, on my PC that fits all the system requirements and can run much larger and more demanding games with no problem. Looking through the community forums this may have been an issue that's been going on for years and the reason why the latest reviews that actually show up are years old. On the dev's website the only way to contact them is to call them or send a letter via snail mail. There is nothing in their help articles about it, and I found a forum post on steam saying the publisher would try to reach out to the dev to fix it...from 2018. No further response.
I'm submitting for a refund. Don't waste your time trying...
It's a fun idea, but honestly it just turns into you naming everything practical RPG attack names. I wish Steam had a neutral option.
This game makes me very sad....why because it had so much going for it and with the right devs could be a real classic. But right now there are a few big issues the following are some that drive me nuts.
1. Translation and text issues but the one that really bugs me is the fact there is a item with NO name it's just a blank name and looks really bad.
2. The idea of making your own spells is cool however it sometimes makes zero sense why a spell does what it does.
It's one of them games that with some love and care would be great but does not seem to be getting any updates anymore.
It doesn't work! It constantly says that majo.exe is not working. I've never been able to get this game to work.
EDIT: It started working 10/10.
