Not much to be said, it's a match solitaire game, nothing too complicated, just click on the matching cards and see if you can beat all 12 packs of 10 levels in two different 'difficulty' modes and aim for perfect scores (to this day I still don't know what counts as one...)

It has some bugs and issues with misclicks (careful if clicking the left side of cards), and it only has the 2, maybe 3 music tracks and can get very repetitive, very quickly but then again what do you expect? It's alright for what it is, I do recommend it if you want a chill thing to play every now and then.

I am open for comments if you want to ask questions about this game/review.

Very poorly done. Card flips are too close to deck and will often flip instead of selecting.

I am 32 years old.

My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old.

When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.

Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.

With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.

After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.

Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.

Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.

Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

This game is a simple card game, where you have to select two of the same numbers (or Jacks, Queens etc.) to clear the board. If you collect the golden cards (4/7 each level) you get a full score. The game contains 120 levels, both in two different game modes; tourist and traveller.

In tourist mode you can just play a level, select another level and come back later to get full scores. It's a relaxing way of playing the game. In traveller mode you can only select the first level and the level you are at at that moment. Which requires full scores each level before continuing or else you would need to go back to the first level again to play everything over.

The most annoying part I found, is that the levels are completely random, which means you can get a board which can't be finished, which is fine. However when you're in traveller mode and you have to start a level over for 30 times it might get frustrating. Beside it can cost you a long time before finally finish the level, which makes it not a casual game to start up for a quick game of 10 minutes. Which I think this type of game should aim for.

The bonusses (mulligan, shuffle and joker) are for the most part useless. While mulligan is broken if you go back a step when you used a joker. The shuffle bonus gives you another random game for example: If you have two fives in the deck and one 7 on the board... you probably end up after the shuffle with a King, 4 and 8. Which makes this just a lucky option, most times won't help you. The shuffle option is only usefull at the end of a decent carddeck, so you can go through it again. Only the joker can be usefull for the last cards to clear the board.

Achievements are fine, however the 'earn X coins' means OWN that amount of coins. When you spend too much coins for some jokers, you might never reach the 1000000 coins without you need to keep playing after you finished all the levels. Lucky I figured that out in time.

Overall it isn't a bad game, but it can get frustrating because of the randomness. For some reason I kept playing the game, because I wanted to finish it, which took me about 29 hours in total, which isn't a terrible for the normal price of €3. I got this game with a 60% discount, which I would recommend it for.

It isn't the best, but good enough for the low price.

Fun art, achievements range from easy to a long grind. I'll happily be playing this for quite some time to finish those off, good thing I enjoy match-2 so much.

This game has a bit of a twist on the original solitaire games. It is a mixture of mahjong and solitaire. The game itself is really fun to play. It has 120 levels on both tourist and traveller.

I really like the art style as it is quite simplistic and not too much details so you can concentrate a lot easier.

The music in the game is fine, however the game takes very long to complete so after an hour or so I put off the music and started playing a bit of truckersFM in the background while finishing the levels.

I must say the levels are not very easy and some levels you will need to play over and over again to complete it and collect all the golden cards. I basically abused the shuffle and joker in the game, as some levels are really difficult and you will need to use some of these functions to complete the levels.

When completing a level it is important that you are aware of the exact positions of your golden cards, as sometimes you will have more than 2 of the same card on the field and you need to choose the correct ones to complete the level, however once you get into the game it gets easier.

It took me about 10 hours to complete the tourist mode of the game, which is the first 120 levels of the game. In traveller mode you cannot redo a specific level on a map and you would need to redo the whole map. It is therefore really important to focus and complete a level when playing traveller mode. I farmed as much as possible on all the levels so that I had enough shuffle and jokers before attempting to complete each area.

I did encounter a "glitch" in the game. If you pair a joker and you undo that pairing, you will have to place another joker even though the card still shows that it is a joker card. For some reason it does not want to pair with any other card and you will need to use another joker.

The game took me 25 hours to complete and unlock all the achievements, but I must say that there are 4 or so achievements which are quite a grind. Other than replaying the levels a lot, this is still a fun game to play.

A good basic match-two game.

If you are going for the achievements, please note that the achievement for earning 1,000,000 coins is not cumulative. You have to have 1 million coins at the same time. So if you don't want to be playing this game for too long, I recommend not spending any coins until you get these achievements.

Pretty Damn good Solitaire game. Good graphics and addictive gameplay. 10/10. One of the best Solitaire games I have played on Steam.

A little confusing to get the hold of the game, took a few rounds to remember things. Otherwise pretty easy to play and it's colorful.

TL;DR: Like shoes and books, you can never have too many solitaire games, go ahead and treat yourself if on sale.

Let's face it. If you're reading this review, you're trying to justify picking this title up, when you already have ten solitaire titles from the same company. And you've come to realize they are all the same exact game, only reskinned to change the background, card theme and music.

I got this on sale for .49 cents USD for the same reason, even though I have a proper solitaire game by the same company. But this is match 2, not solitaire, so technically you are buying a different game with different beach assets. Are all these card titles clones of one another? Yup, you can find the same broken card click mechanic in each one.

And the same angry RNG system too. But if you're after another solitaire title and understand what you're getting, go ahead and treat yourself.

Fans of Solitaire games, beware. This is not a true Solitaire of any form. It's a match game. It's an English mah-jong in disguise with cards, and it's a poorly designed and poorly implemented one at that. Either the game is broken in its design or the programmers purposefully made solving these "puzzles" impossible without using the power-ups. On some boards, there is an odd number of cards, so that the player could have one special card left on the field, but its match is nowhere in the deck. On other boards, the matches to face-up cards on the field aren't even in the deck. At all. I'm going to play it to completion and get all the achievements, but if I had a time machine, I'd go back in time and stop myself from buying this, it's that frustrating.

It's okay for what it is. But it is not what I consider a solitaire game.
Instead, it is a pair matching game. If you want to match pairs, this is the game for you.
The game play is straightforward, the set-up is pretty, the controls are easy (entirely mouse click).
Despite the name, and how it may appear from the store images, there's nothing substantial to it. It can get boring very quickly.

This is probably not the solitaire game you have been looking for.
Give it a pass unless it's on sale and you want something to do when you're bored between other things. Or because it has Steam achievements and trading cards.

Solid, glitch-free card game. I would not call it Solitaire, as it is a further simplification of a game that was pretty simple to start with. Most Solitaire games do not require matching or mixing the suite, this game is just matching equal cards. But the title says what it is, so there :D

As others have mentioned, completion rate seems lower than an actual deck of cards. The rate that coins are earned in the game is also low, so it seems grindy.

Plays like a "clicker" game, good for killing a few hours.

This is my first Solitaire game of this kind. Let's be fair, this game is not amazing. A lot of random layouts. Might get bored quickly. From other hand this is a good time killer. It suck nearly 40h from my life.

I really don't think Solitaire is the right name for this game as it isn't a solitaire game it's a match 2 game. It isn't even very good as a Match 2 game either as every hand is not winnable to the point where you can end up with exactly 1 card remaining or 2 completely different cards. The entire point of the game seems to be grind replay so more players are playing it making it seem like a better game than it is. It has the exact same card layouts as their previously released game Solitaire Christmas. Match 2 Cards the only difference being the card backs and backgrounds all of the level patterns are exactly the same and it clearly has the same flaws and game programming. You can 100% it in 15 - 20 hours depending on luck. I would only recommend this if you really like Match 2 games, card games and have something to do while mindlessly playing it even still I would only get it when it goes on sale for .49 cents which it does frequently.

It's a simple Solitaire game with a Beach setting. Nothing really special. If you like simple time wasting solitaire games you will probably like this game too. But imho it is a little overpriced.

Solitaire Beach Season is the most boringly generic solitaire that I have ever played. There is absolutely nothing unique or entertaining about this game, just clicking cards unless the click doesn't register which happens about a every other click. There are plenty of good solitaire games, go buy one of those instead.

I enjoy card games - preferring "golf" solitaire to this match the pairs - but if you have patience and don't mind playing the same layout over and over and over, then you will enjoy this game. There does not appear to be any weighting of the deck so card distribution is completely random, meaning you will lose many more times than you win.

Power ups are limited to three very expensive options so you have to adopt a style of play where you simply replay the level and hope for a better distribution than to attempt to buy a power up.

The limited selection of music will ending being repetitive as you grind levels. You have to complete 10 levels to a fairly high "standard" to advance to the next set of 10 layouts. Again, if you don't mind replaying a level several times to get a perfect score or just to advance to the next set of 10 levels, then there are many levels for you to enjoy.

Catch it on sale though so you can break even on the trading cards if nothing else.
