"В поисках интернетов" - это настольная игра в странном выдуманном мире, чем-то похожим на наш современный, но с элементами юмора и сюрреализма. Вы играете за обычного городского жителя, который попадает в глухую деревню, где нет интернета и в помине. Ваша задача - выжить в столь суровых условиях. Выход здесь только один - заняться подключением!

Как играть
Цель игры и условие победы: подключить к интернету все деревни на карте. Для этого нужно зарабатывать деньги. А для этого нужно продавать разные вещи, которые выпадают с карточек.
Играть можно от одного до четырех человек. Но несколько игроков может играть только на одном компьютере. А еще можно играть одному человеку сразу четырьмя, так даже проще!
Это так называемые фишки игроков. Передвигаются они по полю по тому числу, которое выпадет на кубике. При этом у каждого игрока есть лимит ходов, так называемые очки настроения. С каждым ходом они убывают на единицу, кроме зоны деревни. Когда настроение равно нулю, игрок выбывает из игры. Пополнять очки настроения можно в деревнях, подключаясь к интернету.
Игровое поле разделено на три типа местностей.
Первый тип – это дикая местность. Когда игрок попадает туда, можно решить, либо останавливаться там, либо пропускать ход. В случае остановки нужно вытащить карточку. Всего 27 карточек, для каждой местности около трех разных. Местности бывают тоже нескольких видов:
На каждой карточке прописаны разные события, чаще всего это какая-то битва. В случае победы обычно получаем предмет, в случае проигрыша теряем еще одно очко настроения. Но иногда бывают и неожиданности. Карточки с сюрпризами помечены знаком вопроса.
В деревне можно продать выпавшие предметы и установить интернет. За каждую последующую установку нужно будет заплатить больше. А если интернет уже подключен, можно им пользоваться. Правда, если подключен другим игроком, то нужно будет заплатить ему за пользование.
Сверху справа экрана - отображение, какая деревня кем подключена…или не подключена. Это своеобразный прогресс игры.
Если фишка игрока находится рядом с деревней или через клетку, тоже можно поймать интернет и восстановить силы по тем же правилам. Сверху для этого есть индикатор сигнала.
Если сигнал не удалось поймать, нужно вытащить карточку с битвой.
Также вы можете подогнать число на кубике к желаемому, если у вас есть бонус-карточки. Они даются за прохождение каждого круга, а еще иногда выпадают из сундуков.

A board game, where the player aims to connect the internet connection on the two available maps, going through various events to acquire money, where he can play alone, with friends or with the computer. But after a while the game can become a little boring for some players.

Amusing game that somehow makes that dial-up screech not sound annoying. This game is great for a lazy night with its simple premise and cute artwork. It's a really creative use of RPG Maker.
the game is just rolling dice and roll dice again.
nothing to consider, nothing to control, no skills needed, and no story at all.
The good:
+unique & entertaining concept
+RPG maker sprites and hand drawn children's artwork for events and cards are cute.
+interesting sound effects. Way to design a less awful version of the 90s dial-up internet sound.
the bad:
-too much Random Number Generation in the game. ok. so dice roll for movements... o.k. dice rolls for events... o.k. but the game revolves around setting up internet in towns and using it to restore your mood points that are taken away by events. if you don't land directly on town its RNG whether you can connect to the internet at all and if you didnt provide internet to that town, you have to pay to use the internet if you pass the RNG invisible dice roll.
-lack of variety and unlockables. There are only 4 characters in the game and you cant swap them around at all, nor does anything really differentiate them, so it would be nice if you could just have a simple portrait/sprite swap. You never get more characters and there are only 2 boars (one for easy mode and one for hard), both of which pretty much look like the same board. The only difference is the hard board is longer and has more towns.
-If you dont get bad RNG and get knocked out of the game, games can take forever. Every time a character provides internet to a town it gets more expensive for that character, and the game only ends when all towns are provided internet (though im not sure if having only 1 player remaining or some other rare random events end the game but my experience was long and drawn out).
-unrewarding events that reoccur too frequently. Events usually only give you items that you sell in town for gold, the items have no other uses. There seems to be a small variety of possible events. A lot of the frequent events require high dice rolls like 5 or 6, and the one treasure chest event that gives you money if you win but takes money if you lose occurs way too often and if someone beats it, the next person cant get anything from it even if they wing. I hate that treasure chest event.
-movement & mood restoration cards are useful but also infrequent. You rarely (if ever) get them from events. I only saw them awarded for looping around the board, which makes it really tough if RNG gives you a card that takes away mood and spaces, seeing as cards can only be used on yourself.
-no interaction with other players what so ever, other than paying to use their internet. There is little to no player interaction.
-local multiplayer only is always a drawback.
-music is bland and unmemorable.
Overall this was an amazing concept but I wish a little more planning and effort went into it. As of now this is a game you might play for an hour at most and then forget about.
More than anything, this is a *local multiplayer* game. Meaning you have to have friends with you, in person, to play it with others. By yourself, this game is pretty boring. With friends however it's not too bad. It's got a different look to it than most board games and the premis is nice. Enemies and events are varied enough so it doesnt get predictable. Something i'd have liked though is more characters and/or boards. Also, playing for long periods of time will end up boring some but I'd suggest this to anyone who likes a good board game.
What seemed like a fun tabletop rpg turned out to be quite boring. The idea was good but...
Lack of multiplayer
Perhaps I didn't understand this right, but when I read "co-op + local co-op" I assumed I could at least play with people who live nearby. I'd select 'human' at the beginning of a match and the game would automatically scan for other players who want to play with humans. But that's not what happens; selecting human just means you get another character to play with. So this co-op feature works only if you have a friend over at your place and want to share the mouse to play. This is completely useless for someone like me, who lives alone. lol
Repetitive
I played 3 games and I was done! The hard map feels excessively long and the easy one should be a tutorial/quickplay. It would be interesting to see new maps available either through an update or innexpensive dlc. Maybe have a feature where players can build and share their own boards?
Sadly, those are major turn offs for me, so I've requested a refund for my copy of the game.
My friend also requested; since we can't play together.
I currently don't recommend this game unless you just want a quick steam trading card. As previously mentioned, the idea was good, so I may be tempted to try it again if there are updates + real multiplayer added.
"Where are my Internets?" looked cool enough for me to buy it, even when it wasn't on sale, but I am sad to say that it did not live to my expectations. It never seemed that I ever rolled high, ever, and it apeared that only a few out of the 27 cards in the game actually appeared. I basically rolled, clicked look around, fight, and repeat. The game was not enjoyable, and I cannot recommend this game to others.

The bad:
- Only 2 maps affecting replayability
- One game involves you circling the map multiple times and doesn't introduce new aspects apart from single use cards as a reward for completing a "lap"
- Low variety of events - repetitive catching frogs/hamsters, fighting rocks/wolves etc., openining chests
- Steam achievements are luck based such as rolling 3x 6 in a fight
- Can't tab out - will crash game

+/- Different saving feature - you can only save when you're on a town tile
Highly entertaining. Slightly repetitive but weirdly compelling. Definitely worth a look!
As I started to play, I wasn't so sure about this game, but the more time I spent with it, the more it caught my interest.
Cute little game about searching for a internet connection in the middle of nowhere. It's a boardgame, so it's great both for hotseat and solo. The game is quite short, but maybe the developed makes dlc sometime?..
Nice game with incredible humor.
The plot is you have no Internet in some rural area you visit.
But you can't live such a life.
You are the Hero. You are the Last Hope of all villages around.
Nice tablegame with humour story and funny pictures.
Interesting mix of anime-style and kid-drawing style cards.
The music fits nicely, don't want to turn it off.
And I didn't try to play coop yet.
.. I made my first internet providing after fighting and robbing some wild treasure chest. Damn, I felt myself like Robin Hood
.. Then was able to read my favourite forum - and I was healed - yep, forums, blogs and social news - i can't leave without them :)
.. I beat some monster chest, trying to save somebody inside it. But then another chest swallowed me. Unfortunately nobody saved me.
10 internets of 10.
And I keep on playing :)
Funny and child-style game. The game draw inspiration from the board games.
