Deep in the rolling hills and clouded mountains of a land long forgotten, an plant invested remnant of a long-lost civilization has come to life, its centuries old rest has been disturbed. A software protocol, centuries old, has been re-activated and an artificial being, Lectrovolt, has been created. Explore and navigate the ruins of Erlis, from the military Core below the basement to the lofty Penthouse, solve intricate puzzles, upgrade Lectrovolt and charge larger and larger machinery to bring it to life, and fulfil your programming.
Accompanied with a relaxing, deep soundtrack by Ketsa, a subversive secret lore and challenging achievements, 'Lectrovolt II' is the first ambitious Steam release by Harmonize Studios.
======== UPDATE 1.2.9 - CHARACTER CHANGE PATCH ========
In preparation for the FREE Outpost DLC, set to be released next year, Lectrovolt II has been updated with the new ability to change your Lectrovolt unit's colour! There are two new achievements available not yet displayed in the game; Charge an object using all five starting colours, and Complete saves 2/3 using the unlocked Blacklight Lectrovolt colour!
There are some improvements to the game, based upon some user comments I have received. If while playing you find any bugs, please send me an email on , and I will fix them ASAP!

I really wanted to like this game and was enjoying it and felt immersed up to the server room level, would be happy to befriend the dev and point out where I find game breaking glitches. I run a brand new MSi GE62VR and had trouble with screen transitions and loading. The first stage end transition saw drops in frame rate to 6 or 7 fps, maybe less. I even went outside the map at the beginnings of the server room floor where the outside skyline can be seen, walked through, no jumping, never to return again. I had an issue at the start I shrugged off where my sprite fell to the lower levels and i was seeing screens from elsewhere in the game with no sprite on screen. I opened the map to try and figure out what happened and when I exited the map i was visible and in a completely different area. I had an instance of checkpoint reversal where I died just after hitting a checkpoint but it threw me back to the checkpoint before, then to test it further went and died on an obstacle placed before that checkpoint and got rolled back even further. I saw no return to the furthest checkpoint and it wouldn't trigger as if it were a new checkpoint again. This left me disappointed and I hated feeling that way because the whole post human civilization with a little guy coming along to revive it was a nice story line. I love metroidvania and while this was more of a platformer/ruins explorer type game i felt right at home. I absolutely HATE to not recommend this game because it has such potential and feels a little like a cross between fez and "the dig" for those old enough to remember that game.
TL;DR
I LOVED IT until I found game breaking glitches.
I bought this game to give it an honest review because I was so upset by the first review. This is a fun casual game with some rich environments. The puzzles themselves are creative and stretch through multiple rooms, the interface is slick and easy to understand, exploration is rewarded, and upgrades are well utilized. The game has a nice built in perpetual save system complete with a “continue” option upon starting the game up again. I do think these environments and game-world would be benefit with the addition of some text-based-story, perhaps in the form of some data-pads or other optional-reading material hidden throughout the game. I can tell there is a lot to be said here, and I want to learn some lore! That said, the clever nature of the puzzles and drastic difference in the level 'biomes' were a pleasant surprise. I am sorry that this fun game by Harmonize Studios was subject to a troll on steam as its first review. People should try to remember there are real people behind these inde-games. Keep up the great work and please don’t listen to trolls.
i bought this just to give it a negative review
