Game was abandoned to work on another game that failed.

i really like the idea and feel of this game and im really disappointed in how unrefined it is :(. i really hope it gets updates in the future.
This game is pretty fun, but it definitely has a few problems that need to be fixed before I'd consider it "good".
1. You will get missions you can't complete. For example, there's one where someone asks you to host a party with 2 sushi tables, but at this point in the game I haven't unlocked a location where I can have sushi tables. It's frustrating to not be able to complete missions simply because I'm given missions impossible to complete.
2. You can't have a party with the same theme 2 days in a row, and some missions are theme-based. For example, one character asks you to host a rastafari party, but I just had the day before so once again it was impossible to complete the mission since I couldn't host it again.
3. The biggest problem is that missions must be completed that same day. If you had several chances to complete the mission, you could try again if you made a mistake or if game dynamics were keeping you from completing the mission.
4. Mission goals are unclear. Like one is to "have 3 smoke machines". There are no smoke machines. There's smoke makers and smoke areas. So you have to decide which of those it's referring to and hope you pick correctly. I just made 3 of both.
5. Locations get locked. It makes since to lock areas after a certain number of parties so you don't just spam everyday at the same location, but you can't access locations while locked to simply sell what's there. So if you finish a party with little money, you might go to the last location to set up a party, sell the gear, then exit out to host a party instead at a different location. But if a place is locked, you can't access it even to sell the gear so now you're stuck with almost no money.
6. Multiple missions are sometimes offered at the same time with conflicting goals. I want to complete all the missions to see the ending to the game, but sometimes you will be giving a mission from one character with certain goals on the same night another does. Sometimes the goals don't conflict, but sometimes they do. Yeah, later in the game it gets to a point where you choose one side or another so it makes sense, but earlier on it just feels more like bad gameplay or a weird glitch.
7. It takes energy to buy things that make energy. Music and light gear uses energy. Some places have very little energy so you need to buy things like generators to make more energy. But you have to have a certain amount of energy to even buy those items. So if you're below the limit, you need to sell what you have, buy the energy makers, then rebuy what you just sold.
I would love to see the "good" ending of this game to see what wild girl has to say if you end up teaming up with her, but with all the glitches and bugs it seems almost impossible. I really do like the game concept though! I just hope it's eventually fixed and improved.
I won't lie. I mainly do this because the game has been forgotten about. Never finished and as interesting as the idea was, being left like this means it will always carry the name of two great games. And i doesn't deserve it.
Incredibly barebebones and boring to play.
Running out of money seemingly softlocks you as well for making a single mistake...?
Generally cannot recommend even trying this as it has been discontinued by the devs and is thus dead.
the game has been abandoned. fun at the first 2-3 hours but then the game becomes really grindy and repetitive. buy if you are interested in circulating currency for no particular gain.
