You play as Sgt. Jon Dagger, a lone soldier who must travel through the ruins of America into the Great White North on a rescue mission to save the President. He's joined by a former Soviet engineer who has uploaded himself into Sgt. Dagger's brain.
In your mission, you must run and gun your way through a variety of environments, fighting post-apocalyptic barbarians, Canadian soldiers, fiendish robots, and powerful ninjas.
Cold Vengeance is a 3D run 'n' gun game that is a tribute to late 90s early 3D games, as well as to 80s and 90s action games and movies.

I was a bit torn on this one. The first impression with cold vengeance is "my first unity project", as it does look very rough and unpolished and not trying to look professional....but it works!
The author focused on the coherence of his game, both story wise, technical wise, and gameplay wise. And this is more important than trying to be like a pro game. This could be regarded as a lesson in game design.
Unfortunately the more you play and the more the shortcomings get in the way. Notably the awful camera control. The levels are rather easy but the game is hard to finish because you spend most of your energy fighting against the camera. This is why I put a thumb down because most people won't enjoy the game. Even though I did force myself to finish it, and found it better than a lot of indie games trying to be more professional than they can afford.
The music is awfully repetitive and there is too much fog most of the time.
But it's a pity that if the dev had fixed the camera problems and polished the game just a little bit more, it could have been a classic.
