I've only recently played it and it melted my heart! Can't wait to do the Sheep's route and later the Rabbit's route once it's released! Definitely recommend this to beginners who's looking for an Otome game.
its a very kooky visual novel, but i love it.
If you are looking for a short casual, cute and fluffy, lighthearted comedy, then you might probably want to try Anicon - Animal Complex - Cat's Path.
The soundtracks are very cheerful and totally give out a lot of positive vibes. They also consist of breathtaking graphic and scenery designs. The story plots are well written.
Our Mr. Cat surprisingly is very shy cutie. I do not want to spoil it but get ready to have a lot of adorable diabetes (〃艸〃)
Super cute. Lighthearted and easy to get into. The music is fun and catchy. A great casual novel with goofy expressions and characters. Definitely warms the soul and puts a smile onto your face -- if you're into silly, sappy, adorable things!
Very good game! It is so fun I couldn't stop playing. Fair price I would get the package with the sheep's path if you want more gameplay.
Anicon is a visual novel where our young and somewhat naive protagonist finds a circus full of people that transform into animals. This one is Cat's Path, so unfortunately, you can only romance one of the animals and then you have to buy the Sheep's Path which was released recently if you want to learn more about the story.
It is supposed to be a comedy. I personally didn't find it very funny, but it was still a cute story that made me smile. I always thought that I didn't care about overly cute stuff, however, this game proved me wrong.
The art was beautiful. Zeiva Inc games always have beautiful art, but in this one, I think they did better than ever.
That being said, there were some things that annoyed me. One of the characters has OCD and it seems like it was treated like kind of a joke. As someone who knows people with OCD, I can tell you that it's not funny. In some cases, these people have to even take antidepressants in order to live their everyday lives.
I still liked the game and I am going to buy Sheep's path soon.
Let's start positive, I loved the art for this game. It was super cute and adorable and well-drawn in every cutscene and background.
Other than that I don't have much else to say that's positive.
It felt like the game spent all its time and money on the art. There was a little left over for a storyline for the individual events but that's it. The plot overall for the whole game was lacking, the beginning of the game suggested some and then it sort of vanished. I liked the ability to pick what activities you could do during the week, but it became apparent that they really had no overall purpose/effect on the game.
Basically the game was lacking which was disappointing because there seemed to be some promise. It felt as if the game wasn't fleshed out entirely. I understand this was just one pathway, but even for one path I still felt like it was missing a lot.
Also I understand main characters in these sort of games are usually dumb, but this girl is so dumb it's concerning.
Anicon - Animal Complex - Cat's Path
The harrowing story of a mother coming to grips with the sociopathic nature of her eldest son/part-time owl during their insane, year-long scheme to synthesise love between two circus janitors.
Nah, just joking. This is a romance-comedy story about people who can turn into animals (or is that animals who can turn into people?), loaded with sheer, undiluted Adorable-ness™ in plot, dialogue and art. Playing this VN is just like watching a romantic shoujo anime; there's the trademark events (the protagonist-is-sick day, the scary Halloween festival), the funny characters (everyone with a sprite) and most of all, it's very, very fluffy.
TL;DR: This game is the best stress relief known to mankind.

I loved the game, so cute! Lovable characters and humorous, engaging dialogue. Definitely recommend playing it.
Only issue is I have no idea how to unlock the other love story paths aside from Cat's path, or maybe they yet to be resleased.
Suffice to say, the reviewer stating "you're paying for the art and story, not gameplay" was right, although I personally would amend it to "paying for the ART, not the gameplay OR the story".
This circus-themed, angstless pseudo-Fruits Basket-type situation excited little attachment to the characters, who all seem to have the emotional depth of feebly drying puddles. "What exactly is going on?" I asked myself as I clicked my way through the "comedic" yet unmemorable choices, and some vague, tortured attempts at story and romance with this spineless wibbling cat. "WHAT IS GOING ON" I whispered-screamed when confronted with the anime-eyed giant snail(???), the rivet-browed broccoli afro chef character and that **GROOVY** pig. At one point I accidentally dozed off and left the game running (playtime is inaccurate), so that ended up kinda sealing the deal for me.
I feel somewhat bad that this review comes off fairly negative, since it seems like other reviewers here enjoyed it, and part of me argues that I didn't give it as much of a chance as I could have - having dozed off, and all. Still, I really couldn't bring myself to finish the game. The only decently positive value IMHO was the art, which varies from cute (monkey and humans) to WTFery (aforementioned giant snail comes to mind). Granted, the art may be alluring enough to convince random passerby that the game is worth a look, but for me I could not have regretted it more when it came to actually playing the game beneath the attractive packaging.
TL;DR version: Story is cheerily bland, gameplay is unexciting, art is cute enough in most cases, humor/romance/characterization are not exactly lacking but a little dissatisfying. Best to try it on sale, if at all.
EDIT: I should add, if your expectations are pretty low and you just want to revel in the art and whatever passes for humor/romance, this game might still be for you.
It's absolutely adorable and funny. I'm waiting for the other routes to come out and i hope they hurry up, because i'm really curious how they will turn out.
It was very cute. I like the art style and the characters' personality through out the rather short tale. However, I feel as though there could have been more added to it, instead of just fastforwarding through the months. It honestly felt like I was just watching an episode of an anime. There was little interactions between the heroine and her forced love. There was a strong lack of any connection you feel between the characters. It felt like the makers had an idea and then rushed it. In my personal opinion I feel like the art saved it for me.
If you do buy this, you're paying for the art and story, not gameplay.
This game is sweet and adorable - I absolutely loved it! Can't wait for Mr. Sheep's path!

Anicon: Cat’s Path is a fun little otome game about Clena and her adventures with a family of boys who are cursed to turn into animals. In this path, the story is focused on the cat, Kad. He’s a super shy cat who transforms into his human form quickly due to feeling embarrassed by Clena’s actions.
I’ve been waiting for the release of this game for a while now. I’ve been looking forward to Zeiva’s Dragon Essence for years now, but this game was announced and I thought it sounded like something I’d love to play in the meantime. When I first heard about, I thought it sounded cute and fun. And that is what this is. A cute, fun, lighthearted game. It doesn’t have a deep story or anything of the sort. Clena has one mission set by a character and the rest of the story is just moments that happened throughout the year. It felt very episodic in that way. Still, it was funny and an enjoyable read. The artwork was gorgeous as well.
I’ve been playing Zeiva’s games for years now since they released their older flash games on deviantart and I’ve always thought they were enjoyable and quirky. This one’s no exception. I do, however, have a recommendation for them—switch the engine from flash. Flash is kind of a dying breed nowadays and it’s not very secure. I recommend switching to a VN engine like Renpy or Tyrano Builder or if they don’t want to go for those, HTML5 is a choice. It’ll also make implementing Steam features more easily, since the game doesn’t have Steam overlay which sucks because I would have loved to share some funny screenshots I took of my favorite character—the snail. It would have been nice to have the in-game achievements implemented onto steam as well. It’s those extra things that make everything even nicer. I also would have liked the game to have a widescreen option. I couldn’t play it on full screen on my PC. When I tried, the screen would go completely black. It never showed up properly, so I had to play it windowed the entire time.
Leaving those things aside, I do recommend the game. I think it’s cute, fun and perfect to play when you want a shorter game that doesn’t get exhausting. I’m looking forward to more paths, and I would really love a snail path!
Having played the demo earlier, I was really looking forward to the final game, and I wasn't disappointed. Ok, maybe a little because of the game's length, but the game itself was adorable and endearing. The romance aspect isn't as strong as some other otome VNs, but I liked how Clena and Kat grew and matured together throughout the story. I do feel that parts of the story wasn't fleshed out enough, but I guess that's because it's only one route and will be alleviated once the other character's routes are ready. Hope to see the others soon!

I don't normally buy games per path, but after playing the demo ..I was sold.
Zeiva's art is beautiful, the story is light and funny.
Kad is sweet, endearing and loveable. (I want to Hug Him some more)
Can't wait for the other paths.

A cute little game!
If you're looking for a VN with twists and turns and groundbreaking events, this isnt for you.
But, If you want a relaxing VN, with laughs and cute moments, this will be just what you're hoping for.
The game itself is very Beautiful, with adorable characters and a quirky (in a good way) soundtrack, and the way it is presented will leave you wanting more backstory on all of the characters.
I found it refreshing, and very cute. It definetly filled the hole in the heart for a light-hearted Visual Novel, and I cant wait to finish more of the secrets endings and play the other paths when they come out :)
*UPDATE! I have finally finished the game and am so happy it twas not lame bunny! (MY awful attempt at Bunny humor lol! :D Most games I won't even bother going through again for other endings and extras but with this game it was worth it! Lot's of hidden gems in this game (literally!) lol! The Side Story and Epilogue had me rolling on the floor laughing! I just really love these characters so much!!! ^.^ I got about 6hrs of play from doing basically everything (besides a achievement or two) and for me it was definitely worth the money! Can't wait for the next Route to come out! <3 <3 <3
The story is predictable, but i really enjoyed how fluffy and sweet it was. I usually enjoy really complicated visual novels with lots of twist and turns and extremely deep storylines. This though was a very simple story which was actually a nice break. I was able to just relax and laugh at all the silly characters and their antics. All the characters are a lot of fun and I've really been enjoying my time in their lively circus world. Also adding to the enjoyment:
-The art is so bright and lovely to look at. There is a lot of attention to detail with all the cute little cat items throughout the game. I also liked the changes to the circus throughout the seasons.
-The characters have their own little quirks and personalities which makes it a lot of fun getting to know them and
I can't wait till i can get the chance to romance them all!
-The music is really pleasant as well. My favorite was the acoustic song "under the stars" it is such a nice relaxing song.
-The expressions on the characters are super cute, funny and change quite a bit as they talk.
-The character designs are really incredible too! The characters are adorable in their animal forms and the ones i got the chance to see in their human forms were super hot! Clena has a very unique look to her too and everyone had awesome clothing designs and hair ect. Just really nice details and outfits in general, especially owl! I LOVE his outfit, that hat!! :D
-CGs are beautiful! So much colors and detail i've been trying to figure out how to do a screenshot because I want to use them for my computer's wallpaper backgrounds!
-The dialogue is absolutely hilarious. I smiled throughout this whole game. It's cheesy in the best way possible and i really enjoyed reading this as a way to relax and laugh after a long day.
All in all this game was even better than i imagined and I am so glad I gave it a chance.
P.S. Kad is just the most lovable cat character ever! I want a plushie of him (in cat form....well maybe human form too lol!) I wasn't sure about him in the beginning but as he opened up his character became a lot more interesting and so sweet. I couldn't stop blushing! <3 <3 <3

very funny story, it conquered you, and even if the game does not have a serious mystery, you begin to create various, just for curiosity.
I had already played the demo and was waiting out in the steam so that I could get. I have not made any final so maybe when I do I will add something.
I also bought this game to support Zeiva, since their game has a great story and I would like it to continue doing good games as well.

História muito engraçada, ela conquistava você e mesmo que o jogo não tenha um misterio serio, você começa a criar varios, apenas por sua curiosidade.
Eu ja havia jogado a Demo e estava esperando sair no steam para que eu pudesse adquirir. Eu ainda não fiz nenhum final, então talvez quando eu fizer eu venha acrescentar algo.
Também comprei este jogo para apoiar a Zeiva, ja que seus jogos tem uma otima história e eu gostaria que ela continuasse fazendo bons jogos assim.
