MADNESS: Project Nexus is a third-person Run n' Gun / Beat'Em Up filled with arcade-style action and button-mashing brutality. Shoot, stab, bash, chop, and slaughter your way through over 16 hours of intense combat. Your wits will be challenged. Your nerves will be tested. Blood will probably get all over everything... what a day to leave your raincoat at home! But that's alright. Wading through the dismembered remnants of those who fell to your bullets and steel, only one thing crosses your mind: They asked for this. And you're glad that they did.

It served its Purpose,, after i beat it i signed myself into the psych ward caliming i "killed a director" ive since been arrested for threating the natural order and this is the only hour of screentime i get a year.. thanks krinkels! very cool

This game is the perfect madness combat game. Not only does it provide a interesting main story it provides the iconic arena combat but in a more interesting way than that of the classic version on newgrounds. I waited 2 years for a gaming pc just to experience this game myself and those years of waiting were worth it for this legendary game. Thank you for releasing this game and providing all of us some bloody fun

I'm a bit stupid and can't quite grasp all the controls so I mostly just click random shit and hope for the best, but I still manage to get through levels so the game remains fun, it's very nice and I played for almost 10 hours straight on my first session. My only complaints are that some levels are a bit confusing and the controls can be a bit weird at times... though the confusing levels may just be a me thing because like I said, I'm a bit stupid. I'd definitely recommend this game, even if you don't know much about Madness Combat, I've never interacted with the series at all and I had a great time.
Dude, I love the part where Hank, Deimos AND Sanford all stripped. Then they brought Tricky into the huddle cuddle and started making out. 10/10 game, I would definitely recommend to all gooners

Gun play: unique simple but still very good and satisfying 😃
Melee play: one of the core mechanics and you can tell (in a good way) it is very good and feels like every hit counts and the way it hurts to you the player is still satisfying 😮💨
Hand play: just as good as any other play but it is sooooo satisfying to hit and even more when it crits 🤤

Im struggling with the arena on wave 6 and wave 7 but this game is fun as hell.
Arena combat is basically a create your own character and train them by doing the classic arena combat from the classic project nexus. I remember playing the classic back in highschool just to kill time. I remember being there when Madness 11 came out!
10/10 Would recommend to anybody. Controls are a bit complex and complicated. However, once you understand it. The game becomes very fun.

MADNESS: Project Nexus is the video game equivalent of drinking five energy drinks and then deciding to fight the entire bar. It’s chaotic, it’s brutal, and it’s stupidly fun. Sure, it’s got flaws—like the grindy progression and some repetitive encounters—but those are just speed bumps on the highway to carnage.

It's a game that has genuine effort put behind it. All the way from the gore, physics, and mechanics. Although some aspects, in my opinion are flawed, everything else feels right, it feels, like madness...

this game is like 3 or 4 different games in one game, so odds are you'll like at least one of them
Such a good and chaotic game, perfect for those who enjoy the Madness Combat series. It expands the story in such a good way and the characters are portrayed so well in the 3D environment. The replay ability is so huge with the arena mode and the upcoming mod support that's gonna turn the game into a fun sandbox of pure madness.
If you like Madness Combat, or just run-and-gun shooters, I really recommend this game, It has SO MUCH content, like, two campaigns? a main story AND an arena story that you can replay multiple times without getting bored? It's such an amazing indie game.

Honestly this is one of the best games I have played in a while, The music is perfectly on point with the gameplay, and has some really good and unique fighting mechanics such as the TAC-BAR and sweet spot for weapons. Replayability is at an all time high for this game with arena mode and how the campaign is formatted.
I silently followed Krinkles and Cheshyre since the start of Madness Combat and got this game during Spring Sale 2023.
I'm currently on my fourth run-through Story Mode on Madness Difficulty (Started with Tough btw) and it's still one hell of a fun game to play even while knowing the story! Every single character got their charm, even better is that you do learn a bit more about them through the game, too!
Haven't touched Arena Mode yet because I'm stuck at the last three levels in Madness Difficulty - Shakedown, Climb and The Rush. Yes, I am THAT stubborn to move on but I love the challenge! I know that the small Team behind this game put a lot of love and time into Madness: Project Nexus. as a long time fan have I boted them for the Labor of Love Steam Award!
Awesome game with fun combat, especially once you get the hang of it!!! The aesthetics of the game are rad and a lot of the areas are very vibey. I'd absolutely recommend getting this gameif you're a Madness Combat fan ^^

Game is packed with action, an interesting storyline (at least in my opinion), and fun gameplay. Each boss is unique in their own way, I have no other words. Worth the purchase, 10/10

game is good but hard, You could get so mad you wanna curb stomp the youngest kid at the nearest play ground. Or get a bit pouty and say somthing along the lines of "Fu** this game" but its normal everybody can get anrgy at a game
Can't even be bothered to have any decent controller support. Game looked good but what's the point if something that basic doesn't work properly.
The combat feels so satisfying, and the vast variety of enemies, mechanics, weapons and armor just make it all even better, highly recommend the game, even more so to those who had played the flash version, it's a very nostalgic experience

genuinely fun twin stick shooter with practically 2 full campaigns shoved into it. my personal favorite thing in the game is the cool role play elements they have in the arena mode. genuinely cool!!!

To everyone reading this. If you can get madness project nexus then do so. If you want to enjoy the game to its fullest first play experiment twice for 2 imprints then either creber,the massive or the tinkerer and grind those and if you desire you can try out magiturge but after you did all of that install mods that add new origins like kings origins. That way you can enjoy the game the most
it nice i played the arena mode before the campain it a sin i think but it was fun.

I can't believe Madness Combat went from flash animations to this. I was really looking forward to this game and was not dissapointed. I strongly recommend if you love chaoticly gruesome battles, true Madness! So much madness in fact that your computer may not be able to handle certain levels without lowering the graphics! Just a heads up lol.
I seen videos of this game from long ago. After a while, i got the game and it’s so much fun playing it yourself. I could not stop playing the game for 10 hours straight. It was worth it 100%
Great game, perfectly encapsulates the feel of the madness series in 3d form. Well polished arena mode, similar to project nexus 1. Highly recommend.
