This game scratches that itch of kingdom building and tactical combat for me.
Hope i can get 10000 hours play time
Game is interesting. The devs have a sense of humor. A couple of complaints.
1. game could use a tech tree diagram
2. It is a very slow game and grow heros up to the put that they are useful is a pain.
3 crashes in 50 minutes, devs even mention in via in game text... Far too much for any full release game, this game is a mess after all these years.
Huge fan of the previous Eador release. Hundreds of hours on it. I avoided purchasing Imperium due to the negative comments about bugs. But I've finally purchased it and played for 5 hours so far - only one bug, a save file that didn't work. It was totally not a big deal, this game is crazy good about auto-saving and lets you manually save whenever.
If you don't mind a slow-paced game, this one is very rewarding.
The game opens with a disclaimer in broken English that is it very buggy and prone to crashing and to just get refund the game if you enjoy a more stable gaming experience.
I'd rather they just fix their damn game, but to each their own.
I got my refund, and you got your negative review for making me waste time in buying, downloading and installing it BEFORE you tell me to not play it.

I bought this years ago while it was still in early release. I waited and waited and waited for a campaign similar to the long astral campaign from Broken World to be added. This game disappointed. It never happened. Infact the astral campaign is what gave the series its charm.
This is game here is one of the main reasons I hesitate to ever purchase games in Early Release anymore, unless I just want to support the developer.
A truly beautiful game and very fun game for it's genre. Endless replay. A hidden gem for me finding it in 2024. I hope this title will get another DLC or continue on the series. Best game money I've spent all year! It's got a very unique take on kingdom management, which I love, and the hero stuff is great too!
