i really love this game i have the real card game and its the same just not as many expantions
Heart of Crown PC is a fun little game. I actually played the physical edition of the card game with a friend which led to me searching for a digital version on Steam.
It's a very relaxing game and relatively easy to learn - once you get the hang of it most matches end up being no more than five minutes. The music is light and enjoyable and the achievements are fun to go after as well. The campaign is insanely long and, since the game is not in the Steam Cloud, you'll lose all your progress if you switch computers. That said, some of the little skits are rather entertaining if you're willing to devote some time to them.
To end, Heart of Crown PC is a perfect chill game you can play whenever you need to kill five to ten minutes and you don't feel like booting up one of your massive story-rich games or if you're sick and you don't feel like using too much brainpower. For anyone who's a fan of the actual card game or if you enjoy card games in general, I highly recommend it!
One small complaint though... I really wish they would add in the rest of the card game expansions...
A really fantastic game.
It takes a bit too properly understand all of it's mechanics, but it has the option for you to play a solo game and see for yourself how the game plays, and once you have the basics down it becomes a joy to play.
The CPU can be a bit challenging, but the gameplay is so enjoyable that I don't mind getting curb-stomped by the robots.
I enjoyed it so much that I went out and purchased the physical version so my family (who doesn't play computer games) could enjoy playing the game with me, and so far they have!
Multiple game sessions have been enjoyed thanks to my discovering the game on steam, I only wish I had discovered the game a bit sooner so I could have backed the second edition.
I haven't played many other deck building games, so take my opinion with a grain of salt, but I think the game is fantastic.
I can't even start campaign because I don't have "points' which the game didn't tell how to obtain. The online server is dead, all I can do is play against AI. Graphic quality is poor, and playing against AI is boring.
