- What is "Pub Encounter"?
It's a romance game where you can fall in love with one of several middle-aged men. All of them are experienced in life and have their own stories to tell. They may not be young, but they can love as deeply and passionately as anyone.
- The Story
After a rough day at work, you decide to walk a different way home to try and improve your mood. Walking down an unfamiliar street, you stumble across a bar named Audire that seems like it has a nice atmosphere. Unsure of what to expect, you open the door and find a group of high-class older men. What awaits you at Audire?

Charming, but a bit of an airhead. If there's a woman around, he naturally winds up next to her. More cunning than he looks.

This game is just HILARIOUS! I beg you, please play it, I especially recommend it if you're feeling down, because this is SO bad, its already good again!!
All of this men...okay ONE of them is not a complete desaster, are so SO bad. It feels like someone who has never seen or interacted with a woman before wrote those characters! they are very bad gaslighters, idiots, egocentric, and just straight up from the guys from hell roster.
Their dialogue is condensending and dumb, and NO ONE talks like this!
Who wouldnt faint and be swooned when youre on a date in a restaurant, and the man just leans down, head on the table, and licks your hand like a dog? Wow!
Especially when it comes to the "romantic" or "spicy" scenes, they are SO awful, really, I had to laugh so much!! its SO cringe and just...that are grown etablished men?? I am pretty sure that even elementary school kids now more about those things than this "middle-aged men"
Oh and dont get me started on the MC! She WILL become your favorite source of frustration!! All she does is blushing, and more blushing, being embarassed, being shy, then she blushes again, she doesnt have ANY personality at all, and blushes and almost faints even when the man only touches her hand, but 10 minutes later she is getting jiggy with him in a bush in a public park?
NO one would ever date this men, but well, no one would date this lifeless MC either, so....
as you can see, I have over a 100 hours in this game, since I replay it from time to time, its so uplifting and hilarious, and if you dont take it serious (believe me, you CANT take this game serious!!) you will have a very good and entertained time!!
I like this game a lot so far. I adore Soichiro and I think his path was very fun to play through. I think this game is perfectly paced. The only issue is kinda rough translation in some parts, but it's overall very good.
Honestly, I finished this a pretty long time ago and bought it only because it was in a really cheap bundle with at least a dozen other games. Buuuut it's honestly not too bad if you read it with your expectations on the ground. :)
It's honestly just so out-of-this-world for me, even though it IS set in a relatively realistic fictional world (maybe because of how very un-self-insert-able the mc is for me), so that helped a lot in making it less of an otome game for me to enjoy and more of a bad otome I can laugh at when I'm bored.
I like the idea and the premise (dating older men, though not necessarily men older than my dad), but that's about all I genuinely liked. I had a good laugh going through this, though, from the sheer amount of ridiculousness. It took some stress off.
