As you journey through five unique cities, meet fans and critics alike, and make friends with your fellow busmates, it'll be your choices that help unravel the conspiracy laid against you.
Roleplay Creatively as you navigate the life of your character. In addition to countless dialogue choices, you'll decide how you want to live. Whether you like being a diligent workaholic, or prefer the route of a relaxed layabout, the choice is entirely up to you.
Import Save Files from Always Sometimes Monsters to continue your story, no matter how tragic or triumphant your ending may have been. Your entire continuity will be carried over.
Build Relationships with your spouse, friends, and more. Learn how to manage the demands of various social relationships as you maintain a life in the spotlight, and reach for your goals.
Decline Anything you don't want to do. Nearly all of the game's content is optional, including the entirety of the primary narrative. You're truly in control of the story, with a right to refusal.

you actually have to pay attention to what youre supposed to do, no map markers, you can legit avoid the entire story if you wants to... or you can have smexy time with your rival until the cops come and arrest them....
I think it's pretty clear to say if you liked ASM you're going to like this too. The pace is a little slower and less action packed but I think that is well chosen path. The game lets you explore the cities and the characters while also making you think and worry about the planning, schedule and the future in the back of your head. There are some continuity errors here and there but considering the amount of paths that can be chosen as well as the choices that is transferred from ASM to the new game I found it very easy to overlook. Something I really liked about this game is that it made me connect and actually like and care about my protagonist unlike most games. Even in choice and story driven games I find this trait very rarely.
Also on another note, I actually cared more about the relationship during this game than I had during the previous. Personally I had my doubts about the sincerity and the durability of the relationship with the SO but the small dialogues, phone calls and dates actually made me feel like these two characters are together because they want to be rather than "they are together because that is the good ending path"
Overall very enjoyable game, it's apparent that it was made with love and care and I wish it had gotten the spotlight and recognition ASM did.
This could've been a decent game if it wasn't taken so seriously. The story was trying to be complex and twisty, there was drama and politics that nobody was asking for. I felt like I was wasting time watching a reality show. Every town was essentially the same, and the conversations between characters weren't interesting. And the devs of the game kept making appearance, talking about their work and how brave and important it is to be an indie developer and surviving on coffee. This game should've been 3-4 hours tops. All endings sucked, in fact the endings don't even end. The routine just keeps playing out whether you got the "good" or the "bad" ending. And what do you learn from the game? That we're all monsters in a way? Didn't need to be that long to get that point across, imho.
