Decent short VN. Art is decent and writing is OK (albeit predictable). If you have a few hours to kill it gets the job done. But if you're expecting anything unique outside of its general premise it will probably fall flat for you. Overall I don't regret my time with this game.

BAD END is an horror Visual Novel with multiple choices and 14 different endings.
I'll start this review by mentioning that the game is still relatively short, but nevertheless a solid 2-3 hours of playtime to get all endings. The artstyle is great, the music is relatively good too (the one track with banging on metallic railings is quite annoying to be honest xD) and the writing is alright. The writing doesn't have any typos but it does feel very emotionless and it's it could've been much better. Talking about something else that could've been much better is the overall plot of the game and as much as I recommend it, it could've been a lot better.
The story is cliché and while I did not see the main ending coming, it is still pretty obvious in the end. The death scenes are not varied enough and honestly game isn't scary whatsoever. I did enjoy the plot and the setting of the game, especially the idea of a game that kills you in real life for failing. So taking into account the low price of the game, I would recommend it to players who like weird/mysterious visual novels.
Overall, a good and original game that could've been a great game, worth playing to the end and gets you really engaged.
I reached a BAD END...
it's over for me now.. :(
