In this story players will assume the role of an ancient fox spirit who awakens after several hundred years of deep sleep to find that possession of her lovingly made dungeon has been taken from her! As if that wasn’t enough cause for alarm, she has also been robbed of her power, leaving her weak and vulnerable. She soon discovers that it was a heroic knight who woke her from her slumber, and after a brief fight and “negotiation,” the knight decides to join her on an adventure to reclaim the dungeon! Together, they will unearth great treasures, reveal secrets and hidden rooms, and recruit monster girls to fight by their side...all while avoiding traps, fighting off dangerous enemies and bosses across multiple floors, and uncovering the devious plans of the new dungeon lord. One of the most important mechanics of Sakura Dungeon is the ‘capture’ mechanic, wherein the player will be able to capture monster girls they encounter and add them to their party.
In addition to dungeon exploring, Sakura Dungeon is also packed with extensive dialogue and plenty of gorgeous backdrops and cutscene artwork for the player to unlock as they carefully navigate their way through the dungeon.

So I bought this game with the full intention of seeing what these types of games are like. If you know, you know. I saw a review with mods that are supposed to give the game a little more substance beyond just "look at these pretty girls," and dear god not even that can save how little this game offers beyond that. Not to mention several models have small drawing errors as a result of characters that are supposed to have less clothing having more slapped on top, if that wording makes sense. The only thing that could give this game any entertainment is collecting the different monster girls like Pokemon because I have a problem. Hoarding. Anyways, if you're looking for anything beyond just eye candy, and not even that good eye candy, this ain't it. I haven't the foggiest idea how this game got a 'very positive.'
This is a fun game to play. The yuri, art and monster girls are great. An enjoyable experience. <3
These are the achievements i cannot get Essence of the Void, Fortune, Burning Soul, An Ancient Mariner so 4 of these are broken for me and there is no way in hell i'am re-doing this whole game, i'am pretty sure i got the warp gem from the abyss nothing, got the Captain Bonny companion nothing, got Dual-ability for Yomi nothing, got all 6 luck statues nothing, this game is frustrating and very broken, I do not reccomend anyone to even try for 2,500 and 5,000 enemies either.

Worth playing if you're bored and desperate for some yuri-themed dungeon crawling, but not worth buying for more than a buck or two.
Old-school dungeon crawling RPG with cute anime girls? You need this game, you just don't know it yet.
Just beat Abyssal Difficulty
Very Grindy Game for killing 5,000 monster achievement
but the rest are easy to do, and many community guides to for tips and tricks
Overall fun game
This is a great game for story telling and the usual stuff but it puts more of a spot light on the writing the only disappointing thing about this game is because of it's age and how little care it has received from the devs it sometimes glitches out or certain scenes won't activate, the later you get into the story the more prevalent these bugs become.
It's a dungeon crawl game, if you like dungeon crawling you'll like it lol. The characters are cute, the outfits are cute, the game mechanics are pretty straight forward. I had more fun playing on steamdeck with a controller than on pc. Oh but a couple of the achievements don't activate when you accomplish the tasks, and if you want to play uncensored you need a patch found elsewhere (not on steam) so fair warning. Overall pretty decent game though

A very good game
I might be the only person in the galaxy who didn't realise what this was when I bought it. I was just all "ha, this sounds dumb!" And I am entertained by dumb humour, like if you've ever played "Akiba Strip." silly concept stuff like that makes me laugh. I somehow didn't know it was "adult" content and was akin to those graphic novels that aren't actually games. That said, I played it for a bit because I like dungeon crawlers, and as one its.... okay. But I did find it got impossibly repetitive not too long in, but it does trigger that annoying "gotta catch them all" itch that Pokemon burned into us when we were kids, so I did maintain interest longer than expected trying to collect all the monsters. But overall, its an okay dungeon crawler game, like a 3/5 kind of thing. If you're into the adult graphic novels, you'll like it much more than me though.
