Stay far away from this. Game was more of a prototype with significant issues. Hardly anything to do as well. 5 achievements says alot too.

abandoned project, no updates have been coming for quite a while... and what's there is almost nothing and not working... so don't buy... don't even download and install if you get it for free.. it isn't worth it..

this game only cost me 1 dollar, but the cancer and multiple diseases i got when i played for about 10 minutes has sent me bankrupt with hospital fees, and that dollar is starting to haunt me.

on a more serious note, this game isn't ready for the steam market, not worth 1 dollar why would you ever pay 20.

The Keybindings are that totally stupid that I haven't played it for 10 minutes.
If you would have the possibility to rebind it or even jump you to death (no jumping),
then I maybe would try it longer... thank god that this was part of my humble bundle.

Advanced Gaming Platform::Epica .... Advanced my ass .. The controls are buggy, nothing is done as you would expect, I cant even figure out how to get off the ship .. 2016 and its almost 2020 .. this is pathetic and disgusting how they get away with this! SCUMBAGS!!!

Graphically, the game is very promising. Has good textures and the ambience settled in space and outer planets is what got my attention. However, the only real challenge in this game is figuring out how to play it. Commands are terrible, swapping between cursor and player view can be a headache if you don't have a 5-button mouse and skill set is something quite impossible to understand. Shooting animations are awful and enemy respawn is dull. In some parts of the environment you find bug like walking through rocks. I reached a point until this game ain't worth trying at all. The only reason I bought this is because of the Steam 90% discount coupon, but I seriously doubt that worths paying even that amount. Don't try this at all, unless if it's for free, at least not until this game get some serious development.

I crafted a badge and got a coupon for this, and it was less than a dollar that way and had card drops, so I bought it.

After not being able to do anything in the game, I read some reviews. Current state is less than it was!

What can you do in-game: I was an Engineer so I could place a turret. I could walk around.

That's it. If they even work on this anymore, then it's only to make everything shinier. The models are good, that's true. But it doesn't matter if there's no gameplay. I'll play it more later to get the rest of the drops and chance for boosters for it, but never after that.

This game was confusing when launching it up. I had no information on what the class does besides general knowledge of they could do. I appeared in the game with no knowledge on how to do things. For the most part, I had to guess on what I can and cannot do. Again, nothing told me what to do, just plop me on my ship. I went around the ship trying to interact with it. I saw a planet and I thought maybe I could travel to it. I eventually made my way to the hanger and got on to a small ship in the hanger bay. There were no controls besides the lifting the ramp of the small ship. I suggest that the developers create instructions, maybe a computer to interact with to tell you the how to's at least or a "ship manual". Even if there was a tutorial, there was no guidence to it. For the most part, I had to guess what I had to do. This game seems it has potential, but I do not want to look up everything and or search for a while for a tutorial.

This game will be very nice??
But at the moment... Far from ready!!!

The game seemed interesting, but as it is now, is beyond unplayable, so many bugs, so little game i bought with discount, so I don't mind much, maybe later it will be a nice game, who knows.

Ok, from what I've read, this game is in early access and is being developed by a single developer. That being said, this game is a total train wreck. In it's current state, this game should be offered for free, for the sole purpose of assisting the developer by reporting bugs and things that could be changed. I paid $2.00 for this game using a cupon I got for making a steam badge. Eh. $2 is $2. But $20??? You're off your rocker!!! The menus are confusing, as the tutorial does a mediocre job at best explaining how to do things. You cant change the resolution, a big problem in my opinion. When you finally figure out how to melee enemies, you will find that instead it instantly suicides your character. With the engineer class, the turret is unusable, just fires in an area around it as a blast, not damaging anything and can even stun lock you if you're unlucky enough to accidentally run into it. There are "quests" but no achievable goals, as far as I had experienced anyhow. Yes, I can see promise in this game, and it does'nt look bad at all, especially for a single person working on it. But, in it's current state as I stated previously, cannot reccomend unless it is free. If i was spending $20 on this game, it would be under the expectation that the developer would at least make the effort to get more help with the construction of this game, something I seriously recommend if he has not considered that yet.

I don't know is this game really needs high spec PC or intended to be CPU destroyer; or am I too retard to play this game?

it has a great deal of potential if the dev will fllow through, and, since he seems dedicated, and intent on making an epic game and seeing it through I have high hopes for it. he keeps in touch on the forums and seems to be hard working and consistent. A lot more than you can say for a great many of these EA games. Being he is only a dev team of 1, it does go slow but steady. Hopefully it'll become what it could with support and dedication. It's off to a good start if you have the patience.

This is an early access that got released too early.
A lot of things need improvement before this game is actually playable.
The graphic settings won't save, Sounds are badly optimized, combat / aiming is a joke, Even if your not directly aiming at the enemy, they will die.

Altough I must say, this game could have a lot of potentional to turn into something great and playable.

OK, it's Early Access (E-A), but almost unplayable, lagging like hell (in Offline Mode), no sound whatsoever (suddenly I fired a Gun, then comes Sound) and the UI is the most confusing I've ever seen, even for a E-A Title. there is no Intro nor Coaching-Stage, loading Screen is overloaded with some Information, but how are they related to anything? 4 Icons are indicating to click on, maybe Maps. Just 1 from 4 are clickable and when you click nothing happens, after 3rd or 4th one then the Spawn (or whatever this is) is coming up. Then what?

I've been following this game since the first Kickstarter, and I'm constantly impressed at how much love goes into it. I purchased this on day 1 of Early Access, and the updates have been frequent and full of content. Any feedback is addressed quickly and issues are patched within days, and the (sole!) dev is responsive to criticism.

It can be a little confusing at first. The world is big and open. Left with nothing more than a vague threat about being eliminated, I somehow missed the cache of guns right beside my spawn place and wandered around for a while until I figured out how to take some skills, and then went around blowing things up with grenades until I found a "shop". Epica is a lot of fun, and the game has a lot of potential. I can't wait to see what the future holds for Epica!

I've been watching this game develop since an early Kickstarter campaign, and I'm amazed how far a single developer has pushed the title since. Updates have been constant and substantive since my Early Access purchase, and I'm excited to see the game grow. Keeping my eye on AGP:Studios and this title.

I think I've played this game for about 20 /30 minutes.
At this point there's no tutorial, witch sucks, couldn't even figure out how to shoot stuff or melee stuff (if anyone knows how to shoot let me know, I wanna give it another try)
Seems intersting, graphics are decent, but very buggy at this point.
The game need a lot of work but has potential, I hope to see they take care of it, it could really be fun.
IF YOU PLAN ON BUYING THIS GAME: it's definetly NOT worth 9.99 Euros, BUT if you get a -90% coupon, like I did, then sure, buy it.
Maybe in time it will be a decent, who knows, even great game, but at this point it's meh.

I picked this up for a dollar so I'm not complaining. I'm not even going to seek a refund. However, in it's current state, this is utterly unplayable.

Here's what you can do in AGP: You can run around. You can walk around. You can get chased by enemies. You can reload your weapon. You can dry click your gun at enemies(because the gun refuses to fire, always!). You can somehow despawn your weapon while your character model acts like he's still holding said weapon. You can open crates to get cash. You can repeatedly farm those same crates because they are on an endless regen cycle. You can spend that cash on useless skills(useless - not meaning lame. useless - meaning not functional).

Here's what you can't do in AGP: Anything at all. Skills don't seem to function. The weapon doesn't function. your ability to look around with the camera sometimes ceases to function.

At somepoint there could be something here. I hope that the dollar I spent helps the development. Problem is there isn't enough here to make me wish I gave more to the cause. This is highly not recommended in it's current state. This is a classic case of too early for EA.

Its hard for me to say yes or no on this game. It has a lot to offer but also needs a lot more help and work. Open world concept is nice but be ready to get slayed if you venture out right away and dont read up on controls and gameplay as shit is waiting for you right away. Good time killer. 5/10.
