The historical simulation game system is based on the classic title "Romance of the Three Kingdoms II," but the user interface has been given a complete visual overhaul. While enjoying these great new visuals you can also enjoy the same simple and fast-paced game play.
(2) So many options for editing! Create your own unique scenario! (* the function available only for the full-edition owners)
A wide range of editing options are available, including officers' names, faces and parameters, countries, forces, rewards, battlefields and titles. Freely editing them all will even allow you to create a totally new world, far removed from the "Romance of the Three Kingdoms"! There are also a replete selection of support functions, such as auto creation of officer parameters or back story based on selected images.
As well as thousands of available images for officer faces, including those taken from the history of the "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" series, a function is also provided to easily add your own images to the game.
(3) If you just want to play rather than create, try the "Free Play Edition" for free! Packed with features for players to communicate with each other!
Edited original scenarios can be freely passed between players, and you can load and play any scenario created by another player. The "Free Play Edition" scheduled to be distributed for free alongside the full title can also load and play any scenario data.
The "Twitter Post Function" also allows any game screen to be easily captured, commented on and tweeted, promoting further communication and exchange between players.

nostalgic, but com. has too much tactics to let my delegate fleet away with 'nearly' topmost loyalty, instead played nobunaga: tenshouki for a better pace as both have similar graphics and game flow
i buy the DLC, just wondering how to apply the key in the game?
This (RotTK4: Wall of Fire) used to be one of my favorite games on the PS1. Sadly, I have no idea what the hell is going on with this version.
An English translation would be SOOOOOOOOO helpful.
You know what? I'm fine that the game's entirely in Japanese. That's what we non-日本語 speakers have Google Translate for. What pisses me off is that even in 2017, we're plagued with games using the Shift-JIS character mapping. You'd think by now that Japanese people would switch over to UTF-8. But no. They're on Shift-JIS still and because of that we using non-Japanese locales with Windows can't even see button or dynamic text.
Hey, Valve, how about a new rule for publishing games: The game looks like it's supposed to on every combination of game language and OS locale. (Test only on a minimum necessary subset of locales, such as [English US, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Russian, Arabic, Hebrew].)
Overall, I like it. Very nostalgic, and the massive options available for scenario making is a very big plus. Though is there any way to actually share created scenarios or publically release them here on Steam, aside from using Twitter?
Also, personally I'd have had preferred the option to make scenarios using systems from various RTK games (namely III and IV) rather than just using II's system; Why not, Koei Tecmo? Super Mario Maker allowed making levels using different Mario game engines, and those two aforementioned games are the ones most people are more familiar with and likely was introduced to the RTK game series by (especially growing up with SNES/Super Famicom), anyway.
