First of all, there is no nudity here.
Second of all, there is an Easy Mode. I did not realize that until AFTER I beat the entire game.
There is some lovely art here, as well as tile layouts I have never seen in another mahjong game. Play in Easy Mode if you want to just kill a little time stretching your brain. Don't pay full price if you can help it.
This is a good game IMHO. Your mileage might very.
Pretty lame. Very repetitive. The only reward is some alright CG. I ended up making a bot that spams random clicks on the board and hits retry if it runs out of picks. It ended up doing better than I could.
Cute little time waster. Seriously though, this is a great game if you don't have a lot of time for games, and is great on laptops. BUUUUTTTTTT.... There is no ecchi here. If you're looking for ecchi, you're gonna be disappointed. This game is exactly what it claims to be... Mahjong solitaire, with pretty girls. Nothing more, nothing less. Enjoy!
Note that my hours are only more in this game due to card farning before I ever played it.
I came to this game after first playing the Pretty Girls Klondike Solitaire. That game was underwhelming and disappointing. I only learned about Mahjong and how to play it more recently in one of the Jewel Match Solitaire games that had Mahjong as the special levels.
Not as big on Mahjong but it's nice anyways.
On this game though, I will say the girls are a big improvement from the Klondike game girls, hotter amd have better outfits. I especially love the huge tits on Erina! ♡
This game does get way too difficult too fast unless got put it on easy mode. Which this should be a more casual game anyway. Easy mode gets ride of the time limit which, I don't know why you would torture hours elf with the timelimit on this game lol.
Another improvement from Klondike is that each girl actually had a unique hand and level to play as. 3 different rounds for each girl for each outfit, and each "hand" has a different layout. Unlike Klondike which has no variation in hands at all for any girl or outfit other than the randomization of the cards themselves.
I will give this game a soft recommendation. Just again there appears to not be any +18 patch for this game, and many of the girl outfits only add a little more sexy. But still much better than Klondike. Hopefully the rest of the games in this series continue to improve on these issues
Quality, Fluid Mahjong tile Solitaire puzzles.
Good Voices and catchy Bgms.
Choice between an Easy and Hard mode, jumped into the fire.
This Company does some serious smart, TRICKY and difficult puzzles.
Puzzles are Solvable, BUT packed with stacks of traps,
choices for elimination from user ultimately affects the ending.
Be expecting ' Retry ' stages till Luck and Choices favors you.
Can't let guard down until revealed tiles are clearable without overlaps.
Could Really cause some serious Frustrations.
Purchased for the Puzzles, not for the images.
Too Stressed and eyes on the tiles, but enjoys the voices in the background.
Playable, at low cost.
Grab when on discount.
Hello Everyone,
Sometimes you just want to play a solitary game of Mahjong to clear your head and relax. Well Pretty Girl Mahjong is not that type of game at all, keep moving ahead. In this review we will be looking at developer’s Zoo Corporation’s first title in their Solitary Pretty Girl Majong series, “Pretty Girls Mahjong Solitaire”. Now let get to the Review, shall we.
Pretty Girl Mahjong Solitaire is essentially a solitary game of Mahjong. However, it is not your traditional solitary game of Mahjong. It is a speed run version of a solitary Mahjong game experience. When I first came across this game, I was looking for a Solitary Mahjong game like the ones that originally came pre-installed in many consumer level PCs. It became blatantly apparent that this game was not going to offer me that after I started the first level and there was an ominous time bar that was draining as I was still deciding how to make my first move. Initially I was somewhat disappointed by this but I quickly got over my disappointment because I am also rather fond of time attack trials in games.
In this game, the player has the opportunity to go through a series of 51 Mahjong rounds, spread across 17 levels, that are divided into five different sections. The first and last sections of the game have Four levels each to go thought and each level has about 3 rounds (Meaning the first and second sections have around 24 rounds). Sections two through four has 3 levels each (27 rounds). When a player starts a level, they have to clear all the tiles in each round to proceed to the next round. After three to four consecutive rounds are cleared, the level is complete, and the next level is unlocked. Once all of the levels in a certain amount of levels are completed in a section, the next section will unlock. Typically, in Mahjong games require players mostly skill and some luck. To an extent I felt this was the case with the first three sections of the game. However, by the fourth section, I felt like I had to more rely on luck rather than my skill. By the fifth section of the game, I was spending several hours on repeating rounds due to two Mahjong tiles being stacked on top of each other. This was a rather frustrating cycle to brake but I finally was able to beat the game after around 50 hours of gameplay as a result of this recurring issue. The game does offer an easy mode setting that offers players an easier way to complete the game by, getting rid of the time limit, offering 3 hints for matches per round, and offering 3 tile shuffles per round. These helping aid could potentially help to lower playtime stigmatically, however I typically tend to play the hardest difficulty available in a game because the additional challenge is that much more rewarding. As a result, I don’t regret the time that I spent playing this game, even though I could have made things easier on myself.
This game has both a Fullscreen and widescreen mode that is apart of the game’s settings. There is also a 3D and 2D mode available for the tile outlining during gameplay. The available languages for this game are Japanese and English. This function is in the game setting, which makes it convenient to switch languages while remaining in game. The game’s controls function through a mouse and the responsiveness of the game’s controls were rather nice. The game does not offer an endless mode, which is slightly disappointing because it can be nice to play an endless stream of mahjong puzzles from time to time but I guess you cant have it all.
Now if you have noticed, up until this point there has been no mention of the Pretty Girl aspect of this game. That is because this aspect was the least develop facet of this game. The five sections that were mentioned displayed a different girl that was the focal point of that section, the completion of each level reveals a new outfit for that specific girl, and on the final round of a level is when the new outfit is slowly reviewed as the player match each tile set until none remain. Once a character’s outfit is reviled, the player could look at these additional character arts under the game’s dressing room setting. Frankly, the anime girl theme in this game was more of a nuisance after I accepted the game as a speed trial version of Mahjong because in the end all I wanted to do was clear one stage in order to get to the next one. This game would have had a decent sound track to help me in this task if it wasn’t for all of the awkward moaning and growing that occurred every time that the player finds a matching tile. For player who are concerned about this, the game does not have any characters in any nude designs. The most that the game shows is these characters in swimsuits. If you were looking for more risky character images and that does not interest you then this game probably is not for you. There is so much of this game that could have turned out really well if this anime them had not been inserted as more of an afterthought.
Nevertheless, this was still a game that was a rather enjoyable Mahjong speed run game. The Anime themes may have been poorly developed, but the game did offer a rather functioning mahjong game. I would recommend this game to players that want to play though a few different mahjong puzzles, burn sometime, or looking for easy achievements. Since all of that has been said, I think that I can now conclude this review.
I hope you found this review helpful and I hope you have a great day.
Keep gaming foward
So I bought this game after playing a different mahjong game made by the same people, the aptly titled "Delicious! Pretty Girls Mahjong Solitaire" since I'm a sucker for a good mahjong game and as weird as it sounds that was the best mahjong game I'd ever played. This is more of the same.
Once you mute the voices so the women stop moaning on successful matches the timer is strict enough that it's easy to completely forget they are there at all. It's actually more like one of those old web browser Barbie dress up games than anything, since quite a few of the outfits you unlock actually cover up more skin than the default ones. It's almost charming.
My biggest issue with the game is the difficulty options. The standard mode is great, there are no powers or shuffles or anything, and it's very easy to fail by locking up a peice even in the first couple of moves if you're not careful. It's exactly like playing mahjong solitaire in real life except without the hassle of setting up the tiles, which is something most mahjong games lose in trying to gameify themselves too much. Like in real life solitaire it's easy to just have bad luck and unknowingly lock off a piece you can't even see yet by making the wrong match, but if you like solitaire that's not something to get annoyed with really.
On the other end is the easy mode, which is kind of pointlessly easy. It removes the timer and gives 3 shuffles and 3 hints per set of tiles. I imagine this is for the people who just want to play dress up with anime girls, but from a gameplay standpoint it's like having the only two modes available be nightmare and easy. Like why not have an option to at least turn the timer on or something? I don't know, I guess the gameplay probably isn't what most people are here for but I honestly love it, slightly embarrassing presentation aside.
Truthfully I only picked up the Pretty Girl Mahjong games for the mahjong solitaire, but I did enjoy this particular one beyond the gameplay. For starters, it's very relaxing, especially if you put the game on "easy" so that you're not running on a time limit. I really liked the girls, too. They weren't overly sexualized and the costumes were tasteful rather than just pure fanservice. I didn't keep the voice audio on however, simply because I didn't like hearing the occassional moans from the girls. It kind of saddened me because I did really like the voice acting for the girls and hearing them when they made the odd comment here and there. I know the moaning is supposed to be part of the appeal or whatever, but it just put me off and distracted me. I did like the background music, though!
So yeah, all in all I really like this game and I recommend it~♥
Not a bad puzzle game in all honesty. I enjoyed it. The puzzles become increasingly difficult as the game progresses which is nice, should offer more of a challenge. Pretty anime girls are decently rendered and you can unlock new outfits for them every few levels which is kind of cool. I would not call this game amazing or anything but it was good, well worth what it cost. I'd give it a 7 out of 10, well worth it.
This Mahjong can be frustrating at the last levels, if you stuck & stuck again, because you pick the wrong choices or the time ends. That makes the game hard to like. The graphics are okay. There could be each level/ stage an achievement. So i give for Mahjong fans 52 % because there are interesting challenges & 51 % for acheivement hunters. Thx 4 reading.
A Mahjong game like any other. Simple, easy and entertaining. Look at girls getting excited by your Mahjong skills.
My friends are questioning what I'm doing with my life. After 80+ hours all I can really tell you is this game is relaxing and exciting at the same time. I couldn't think of a more perfect combination then Mahjong and pretty anime girls to look at. A lot of people complain that it doesn't go far enough in terms of them undressing and to those people I say you should look elsewhere for your "entertainment." To everyone else, have fun and get clicking~! <3
I'm not sure what means the [RED] part in the name of the game. Have I got the mild edition? Or the most shameless?
Anyway, this Mahjong Solitaire is a short - and rather un-optimised in terms of gameplay - version of Mahjong, with typical Japanese pop-culture stuff such as gals with big eyes and enormously big breasts... As a way to somehow reward player for his effort to beat that quite generic solitaire game.
In truth, I haven't felt all enjoyed, as I'm quite tired of those specific J-features, when they are not followed by something really inspiring. Gals in the swimsuits? C'mon, it is summertime, I can get to the beach and see much more explicit goodliness - and even touch some... So, as a game of "guilty pleasure" - the one you wouldn't play in front of your Ma/wife/kids - "Pretty Girls Mahjong Solitaire" fails miserable. As I was really ashamed only with constant "ouh" from the girl picture on left part of the screen, when I'm moving tiles... maybe she thinks I'm tickling her? I muted those looped sounds quite fast, playing with my own music to "smooth the corners"...
As of mahjong - it is not fun as well, being heavily luck-based... your skill and your quick eye usually will be of no use there... And no, you can't choose/change the tables, there are just the "story" mode - without any story, where you play only those tables as developers supposed you to... I have about dozen of much better free-play Mahjong games in mind, and to pay the full price for this - I'd considered a rip-off!
Do I Recommend the game? Not really, even with the thumbs up. Buy it only on the lowest price possible, or in some bundle, farm and sell the cards... And maybe you'll want to play some almost brain-dead solitaire to get one more "perfect" game to your score on Steam? Otherwise, in general fun out of the game, and in its cultural value, this one is really low. My mark is 5/10.
First off, don't frickin buy this for 15 bucks. You would be completely moronic if you do so.
For 1-3 Bucks it's a nice little puzzle Majong Solitair game that doesnt invent the wheel new, there are flash games out there with a higher budget than this. The Girls may have huge balloons, but they are really just still images that are just there to occasionaly give you the same soundbytes every 3 seconds and stare at you without blinking. And let me tell you, the outfits aren't worth it.
Buy it if you want some Majong Solitaire fun that keeps you entertained for awhile, i can recommend it, alot even, i enjoyed my time with this game quite a bunch, even if the difficulty in the later levels gets to a degree where it just becomes frustrating.
If you just want big honkers, i can recommend any hentai site. It's cheaper and the quality is better too dude.
I got this game as a gift from a friend as jokes but it was quite surprising how fun it was (except for the almost imposible random levels that it generates sometimes) and it's quite interesting how I almost never looked at the girls while in a game because it's very intense sometimes when you're trying to win under a timer that is slowly going down because you suck while under preasure (well, I suck while under preasure at least). I thought they would have been a large distraction but they weren't at all.
Overall, it's a fun game to play (though your friends may judge you for having it like some of mine did but it doesn't mater in the end as long as you like it I guess) but I will warn you that some of the levels are almost unwinable if not unwinable. So if you don't have the patience to re-do some levels and are easily distracted by what some may call good looking anime girls (depends on your tastes) then this may not be a game you may enjoy. :)
I would have to give this game a 7/10

The name Pretty Girls Mahjong Solitaire by Zoo Corporation and the Chinese version 美少女麻将接龙 by Sticky Rice Games basically sums up everything in this game. It is a simple puzzle game with ecchi fan service which include 51 mahjong solitaire puzzles and 5 different pretty girls altogether. Gameplay involves removing matching pairs of exposed tiles to eventually remove all tiles from the game board. Completing each set of 3-puzzle stages will unlock additional mahjong solitaire puzzle stages, featured characters and their outfits for gallery, and achievements.
Back when this game was released in Steam back in 2015, there were fewer such mahjong solitaire games and games with anime characters in game, Steam achievements, and profile backgrounds. So when the game was released at a dollar, I decided to try the game.
The difficulty of the puzzles range from easy to complete in one attempt to difficult puzzles that require many retries after reaching a dead end or running out of time. After feedback from players for this game and Zoo Corporation's later title Delicious! Pretty Girls Mahjong Solitaire, the developer implemented an Easy mode which allows the player a certain number of hints and shuffles and removes the time limit allowed to complete each puzzle to suit different types of players.
What makes this game stand out as a mahjong solitaire game are the different voice acting from each featured pretty girl, and exciting background pop music from Rengoku Teien such as Piece of Lost Puzzle, AM WHITE and FELT LOVE among others.
Of particular note is that the characters in this game are from Zoo Corporation's companies Norn/Miel/Cybele which produce nukiges that may contain too much adult NSFW content to be localized for audiences outside Japan. These characters are: Rin Nakajo, Risa Amamiya, Kanon Matsuura, Erina Kuwashima, Ayame Kirishima. The names of the visual novels these characters are in the comments section of the review in link provided above.
After spending between 10 to 20 hours to complete all puzzles in the regular mode, this game is recommended when it is at a very attractive discount when the price is at around a dollar. Pretty Girls Mahjong Solitaire will provide a good challenge with a wide variety of mahjong solitaire puzzles where the tiles are stacked in different ways with a time limit and numerous dead-ends while also having an easy mode for those who want to unlock all achievements and character sprites at gallery quickly. In addition, the game also features attractive anime girls from Norn/Miel/Cybele's visual novels. There is no adult NSFW content in this game, its Steam achievements, emoticons, or profile backgrounds, which makes it suitable to showcase in your Steam profile.

There is no story here. But it's a simple game of Mahjong Solitaire. I love this type of game, since I played a version of it on Game Boy. So, yeah, every type of it is interesting me. Even if it means girls in different clothes and states of undress. Anyway, let's focus.
I was afraid that because of the fan service theme, the game will be easy. But I found it pretty hard by moments. Some levels required more than 10 tries before finally getting around. Each restart is a different challenge, as it's not the same dispostion of the tiles. I really appreciate it.
Each stage has three rounds: two normal rounds and the final one, where the girl's clothes are being revealed by removing the tiles. Some of the clothes are "normal" if you're expecting exciting disguises. Sometimes, it's bikinis. And sometimes, it's... well, aimed for fantasms. While I don't mind the erotica, I don't like when bodies are exaggerated. You're under the impression that the more you advance, the bigger the breasts are. And that's not my stuff. If I have to look to erotic representations, I prefer something close to reality - when I have OTP, I'm not attracted to some of the erotica because of the exaggeration. Thanks god, the last character was normal - it was my favorite one, along with the first.
The game is very colorful as it's in an anime-style. As for the soundtrack, it was enjoyable, though the girls speaking Japanese or making weird noises annoyed me as I couldn't understand them or that I don't need to know that they're clearly embarrassed to reveal themselves in the finale round. I should really acquire the reflex to check audio options in that kind of case.
The game is also having a dressing room, where unlocked clothes can be viewed with the girls. It's just a nice feature for those that love looking at them, otherwise, it's not really adding any interactivity.
Anyway, the game is a good moment if you enjoy mahjong solitaire. However, at full price, it's a waste, so, wait for a discount. Oh and if you're here because you love hentai, you should pass the game, there is no full nudity or any sexual scenes, even if the representation is clearly aimed to excite the players in a sensual and sexual sense.
And if you're asking yourself if a girl can enjoy it, yeah. You can enjoy it. You don't need to be a boy to appreciate some of the erotica presented here if you're focused on this side of the game. If you're here for the mahjong, anybody can enjoy, whether you're a girl or a boy. Myself, I've focused on the mahjong, not on the girls, even if I did pay attention as you can't totally ignore that part of the screen.
Anyway, like I've said, if you want this game, buy it when there is a good sale.
When I first saw this game, I instantly knew what kind of game it would be: a basic mahjong solitaire game with softcore anime pin-up girls in it. The idea was pretty straightforward. I'm not the biggest fan of anime, but I'm always up for a good game of mahjong, so I decided to buy it. Was it worth it?
The short answer is yes. For the price I bought it ($1.50), I got my money's worth and then some. I found a fun mahjong game that was short but challenging. The anime girls were just a bonus, but they were worth seeing after each round. Sure, some of the sounds the girls made were a bit strange, but at least the music was pretty catchy.
A message to potential buyers: if you want this game, get it when it's on sale. There's not enough content to warrant a $15 price tag. However, for the price I got it for, it was an excellent casual game that any fan of mahjong (or puzzle games in general) should have in their collection.
Gameplay: it's a very tough Mahjong Solitaire game. The boards are layed out very good and are pseudo-randomized on each start, but never in such a way that they are unsolveable.
The game loses points because of how the boards are stacked combined with the top-down view: sometimes tiles that are adjacent and appear to be on the same level are actually on different levels and therefore both selectable. If there are no other tiles next to it this can be very easy to overlook.
The gimmick of the game is that you have an anime chick next to the boards who is moaning and saying Japanese things as you progress. After clearing three boards you get to a clothing change level where her moans become sexier and a slider goes down her body which reveals a skimpier outfit. There is no nudity.
If you mess up the girls yell some kind of insult that sounds like 'F Off!' but I'm probably mishearing that...
At it's current price with a huge discount, I can recommend it for the solitaire as it's done very well and the gimmick is amusing. Don't pay full price for it though.
Well... To be honest it isnt too bad of a solitire game. But after a while it just got really repetitive. As for the nudity that everyone was expecting... Well I found none.
Granted i didnt go through all the girls, but I finished about 20% of the game without anything that was over PG 13 tops.
The most I got was a swimsuit... so pretty much any slice of life anime cliche out there.
Final thoughts:
Is it a good game? Not for that price. God not for that price.
Is it using that nudity tag to bait buys? Hell yes.
[Update]
After reading the replies to this, I've got to say that:
1. I am aware that full hentai is not allowed on steam, but there are some games out there with partial nudity. That is what I was refering to with the "nudity" tag. And yes, I see that it was removed now. Some people like ecchi in their games, and that tag is misleading.
2. Although the tags on the games are placed by the comunity, they are still misleading at times and can get people into wasting money. I guess I should have rephrased how I talked about the tag. I'll keep that in mind next time I review a game.
3. A few people are laughing, trolling IDK about spending a significant amount of money on this game. There is a return policy on steam. I used it and got my money back. However, steam reviews exist in order for people to know more about the game before buying and saving them the time it takes to explore the game themselves and (if they end up disliking the game) the time it takes for the return to go through.
