Avatar Customization & Table Items
Customization is a key component of Prominence Poker and a place where it differs from other card games in its space. There’s an in-depth selection of sliders for your character’s appearance, from colored hair to thin or pouty lips to forehead dimensions. Respective headwear, accessories, and tattoos tabs exist to further customize the physical appearance of your poker avatar – to fit in or command the attention of everyone at the table.
Table items play a key role, too. Whether it’s a glass of iced tea, a shot of vodka, or a cigar, these items provide experience boosts and are a smart way of diverting the attention away from players’ cards – where all the attention should be.

This games awful, nothing like real poker, may aswell be yahoo poker or something because people just call with useless hands and hope to get lucky, if your a serious poker player this isnt for you because u cant out play stupid.
This is by far the best multiplayer poker game available on the PC. And the single player part of the game is also decent enough to allow you to play a casual game, or a more intense high stakes poker game whenever you want.
There are in-game MTs but those are only for chips (you get some for free every 24 hours, and the amount you receive goes up as you level up your character), which you will never need to buy, as the game provides you with plenty of chips for beating the single player modes.
I was amazed when I discovered the only part of the game that requires real money isn't even remotely essential or required in any way. It's just a bonus for anyone who wants a huge amount of chips, or perhaps a few extra so they don't have to save up for some of the really expensive character customisation items.
You can edit your characters gender, face, hair, facial hair, body, clothes, accessories (watch, ear ring, tatooes, etc), and do various amusing emojis during a game.
In conclusion as a totally free to play (from the first day you play it until the last) this is an exceptionally good game, and easily the best poker game available on PC at the time of writing this.
I highly recommend it!

HEY ASSHOLES, good job on making a good game. BUT YOU NEED TO FIX THE GIFTING SERVICE. Someone gifted me a lot of smokes / drinks for my current items right? I tried to do the same and i Bought them the whole ACTUAL ITEM SEVERAL times. FIX IT, FIX IT, FIX IT. MAKE IT SUPER OBVIOUS THAT YOURE BUYING THEM DRINKS/SMOKES, AND NOT THE ACTUAL ITEM. BELIEEEEEVE ME, someone did it to me. And after winning so high, I though i'd give back to the community. But Nope, there I was gifting the WHOLE ITEM, several times. Good job. Good job indeed. Now I have no money whatsoever, and now the person i meant to buy 500 Drags for their specific smoke, is now sitting there with several of the same items, which I'M SUUUURE they can find ULTIMATE use for....amiright??
64 hours at time of review ,i like to see push to talk added ,open mic is just annoying.
i would like to see the game have a clean version game mode where no table items or items that % chance to rigg the deck
all in all its fun to play ,even tho it cant be taken as a true representation of a poker game

Great game and interaction with other players. Even played a few times being and older guy, theirs always people on no matter what time of day it is... just wish they could change mic to push to talk instead of only option is on or mute. i hate going into menu to turn mic on to talk made stuff to other people then go back into menu just to mute my mic.. need push to talk ...............................

Different tables,different places,character customization,table items,multiplayer with friends and no need of putting real money in it.A perfect game to fill your free time.
There is also ranked matchmaking and factions which I have not tried yet.
If you want poker, You got poker.
Very straight forward game. It does what it needs to definantly my go to (mainly on xbox thus the few hours)
Pros:
+ Very smooth interface.
+ Nice looking characters.
+ A single theme song in many styles.
+ A playerbase that wont (for the most part) go all in every turn.
+ Its FREE!

an amazing game for every Poker player. I already have this for the PS4, but I had to play on PC. Hands down the best poker game out there.
Prominence Poker Review – Raymond KT
Excellent poker game on the most basic level, Prominence Poker is just a multiplayer Texas Holdem poker game with better graphics, design, and cross platform compared to the rest of the free-to-play games currently out on Steam. While the graphics are certainly robust, the options and controls are clearly designed to accommodate for consoles, resulting in a lack of advanced PC customizability and options, often resulting in low fps and other performance issues. But still an excellent steal.
I recommend this game.
Solid poker game. Bugs get fixed, semi-frequent updates.
Cosmetics are decent, hopefully more get added.
Character voices are quite bad.

I am a gamer, not a poker player. I do like poker as a game. And this? Man this is fun. And its free!

But still need some improvements. Like adding chat into the game.
Please fix the multiplayer way... its impossible to invite friends, how can we play with friends, how can we create a lobby and invite someone to join? please
This game is really good, and my computer system requirements is above minimum but the thing is it used all of my 8gb ram and after 2 hours of playing in the same room, it would give me an error saying "out of video memory trying to reallocate" even though I have a gtx 1050 ti sc.
I play a ton of Poker from Full Tilt, Poker Stars, GoP and WSOP.....I've put in quite a few hours into this game because i rather enjoyed the aspect of personalizing your own in game character but as of now i cannot reccomend this game, primarily due to the RNG algorhithm.
If you have never played Poker before you may enjoy this particular game because it frequently rewards high hands to multiple players in a single hand (particularly in tournament) in order to make the game interesting to casual players, i've seen where a single player drops the nuts, not once or twice but 5 times in a row almost af if the RNG is not based per single card draw but based on hands per player......in real Poker this is non-existent except in rare cases, the norm for this game is multiple characters with pocket high cards, Trips and Flop Flushes...after a while (particularly if you play alot of other Poker games) it becomes rather obvious, which is rather unfortunate because i think on the outside it can be a rather fun and interesting game were it not for the poor RNG algorhithm due to the fact that it punishes experienced players by removing the need to engage in any kind of strategy or knowledge of drop percentages.
I may come back to this game and a later time to check out if they have gone through the trouble of changing this, but until that happens i would not recommend this game ESPECIALLY if you want to learn the way Poker is really played.....believe me, you will end up in Vegas losing alot because you are not getting flushes every draw, the sad thing is the game should want to draw in serious players who will want to stick around and not casual players who want to fiddle around for a few hands just to uninstall, and even if you do just want to play casual or you find the Poker to be rather slow and boring, the developers could easily just add other game modes (WSOP offers Omaha and GoP offers Royal Poker) if they want to have games that offer gameplay based around multiple large hands which would be an easy fix, but as of right now it feels like the theory that the Slots near the Casino entrances put out more in order to bring customers in...it's still a game of skill and chance, but it seems like this game has brought down the bar on the level of skill needed and upped the chance for large hands for everyone in order to win.
