Battlefleet Gothic.
- Стратегия в реальном времени, сохранившая многие тактические элементы Battlefleet Gothic.
- Обширный арсенал тематических способностей.
- Возможность улучшать и менять способности на Порт-Моу.

I want more!!!!
Remember kids, "Ramming is a proven, effective tactic."
Good
Not a bad game at all. Fun to play around with regardless of whether you are a Warhammer fan or not. The one, true, big issue with this game is that owning Battlefleet Gothic 2 completely nullifies the necessity to own this game. Number 2 does everything this game does but far better.
Really enjoyed BFG 2 so i tried it's precursor...
Sadly it frustrated me to no end, I had to uninstall shortly after the start of chapter 2 because I was about to smash random things in the vicinity of my pc.
my problems with the game:
- clunky controls
- camera doesn't lets me zoom out enough
- horrible friendly AI
- campaign forces me to make a bunch of skill/upgrade choices i don't want at the start.
- fleet points seem broken... all except two of chapter 1 fights i had 300 points, even though the enemy fleet strength seemed to be growing fast, the 2nd to last battle of chapter 1 it suddenly jumped to 400 and the last one to 450. Then guess what? chapter 2 starts off with fleet size 300 again, against an enemy that seemed to field about 700+
- objectives are more often than not just annoying as hell, and yes there's a stark difference between annoying and challenging.
- one thing that some games do that really gets on my nerves is after the game has started and you're already giving orders and controlling things it takes away camera control from you to show you something stupid. STOP IT!
- mission intro's are unskippable. this might be okay for 1 time, but if you're struggling with a mission and you are retrying.... and you have to watch the same sh!t over and over again when you are already frustrated... it's like salting the wound.
- besides upgrading your fleet the campaign map doesn't offer any strategy whatsoever, there's always basicly just one choice in what to do next.
Good 40k stuff. So lame the sequel didn't have skirmish mode for all those finely crafted classes.
NO spyware from EPIC! Good Game
Fun game. Getting 100% was a grind.
its challenging, but fun
GREAT GAME FOR THE EMPEROR'S CHOSEN!!!!!
Visuals are nice, everything else is trash
game really does not requires a lot of thinking. You need to be like Maru. If your finger rpm is great, well, you will win, if not.
That is not strategic thinking. It is micro managment
I do not recommend this game
One of the best RTS campaigns out there.
I really gelled with this one more so than the sequel, follows the old Battlefleet Gothic rule book in most parts other than being real time. The upgrades and story that maps across from the rule book was very enjoyable along with the sounds and it being very true to 40k forth and fifth addition in tone and look. Smaller scale than Armada 2 does give it some favours as less micro heavy.
You blink and half of your fleet is somehow dead (on easy difficulty).
Just play Gothic Armada 2 its better ;)
Steep learning curve and UI is not super intuitive, but the campaign has been fun so far and rewarding to see myself improve. If you like Warhammer you will probably enjoy this game.
very nice chipping away at a relentless tide feeling. super enthralling. a true classic in strategy gaming.
If you play only for the story it is gud
The game is unnecessarily hard,How am i supposed to destroy an enemy ship with 3x my ships health combined and twice the dps?
pretty tits
I wanted to like this game, but did not enjoy how the ships control
Violent, loud and absurd. It's Warhammer 40k for sure. Lot of ramming.
Thought this game would be similar to Star Wars Empire At War but its very slow and the missions are too hard. Set the game to normal at first and lost every mission without destroying any ships so set the game to easy, won the first mission then 4 consecutive loses in a row.
Gonna try the second game and see if thats any different.
Battlefleet Gothic: Armada is a real-time strategy game set in the Warhammer 40K universe, where players control fleets of spaceships and engage in tactical battles. The game's design is impressive, with beautifully crafted ship models and detailed battlefields
Pros:
- Tactical Depth: Battles are dynamic and require strategic thinking, with players needing to manage resources, position ships, and utilize special abilities.
- Faction Variety: Each of the four factions (Empire, Chaos, Orks, and Eldar) has unique traits, skills, and playstyles .
- Customization: Players can upgrade and customize ships, choosing from various technologies and favors .
- Immersive Story: The campaign mode features an engaging narrative with branching storylines .
Cons:
- Steep Learning Curve: The game can be challenging for new players, with limited tutorials and guidance .
- Limited Multiplayer Options: Matchmaking can be harsh, and the game lacks features like leaderboards and chatrooms .
- Repetitive Missions: Some players found the campaign missions to be repetitive .
Overall, Battlefleet Gothic: Armada is a well-crafted game that successfully translates the Warhammer 40K universe into a real-time strategy experience. Reviewers praise its tactical depth, faction variety, and immersive story, but criticize its limited multiplayer options and steep learning curve .
didn't expect this rts to have so many mechanics lol 10/10
Chasing the Arch-heretic and his Planet Killer toward the Eye of Terror is greatest test i have ever faced, but my soul is armored in faith. The Imperial Creed guides me banishing all doubt or regret. The Emperor stands with us and i have felt the purity of His righteousness. I have witnessed His glory burn away the darkness. I have seen the Imperium's indomitable ferocity unleashed upon its countless enemies. I saw courage and honor displayed in the Emperor's name. I saw the unwavering loyalty and righteousness that He inspired. No fortress could withstand the Emperor's wrath. No fury could overcome His protection. The Emperor's light cleanses even the darkest corruption, sunders even the strongest curse. His glory brings salvation to those who embrace His ideals. Even the fallen are offered a chance of redemption in the Emperor's service... through death. Sacrifice, duty, honor, these are what the Emperor requires of us.
Challenging but fun with multiple play throughs needed to get achievements for the solo campaign. The age shows in issues with resolutions not displaying everything; several of the widescreen ones make it literally impossible to progress past the tutorial because you can't see the full star map to select the first mission; I found playing windowed with a lower resolution resolved that.
this is very heavy and slow, not fun for me.
Great game! Takes a little bit to get the movement and command mechanics down, but once I got the hang of that I've been full commit! Probably my favorite warhammer game to date. My advice? Nova cannons and bombs. That's the fire build ;-)
I have my fun... nff said!
Enjoyable
Одна из лучших игр по вселенной Warhammer 40,000. Здесь потрясающий сюжет, атмосфера и озвучка на англ, но во второй части боевка лучше. Однозначно советую, особенно фанатам
Awesome Game!!!
atmospheric for w40k fans, hell for RTS fans. Very stiff, every mission is to capture some ship, destroy outpost, escort or just battle. Ships designs are nice and customizable. Game explain minor things like upgrades, but not how campaign works - why we lose planets, can we stop it or it's battle with time? Even if we lose battle we got reward so i'm not sure if i should restart or not, can't determine end result. Even on easy missions are very tight on time so only strat is going for mission objective which flatten tactical depth.
Love it. tactical play that rewards planning. the Tau are overpowered though that expansion does detract
Fantastic game. Stays true to the tabletop game. Includes Imperium, Chaos, Eldar, Orks, Space Marines, and Tau. In my opinion, these races are the best ones.
Great Warhammer Game but it is now overshadowed by its Sequal.
shit game
Best ship combat ever, in my opinion of course. I'm into most top down strategy ( X com 2 war of chosen and expeditions Rome to name a couple) ...... fun as hel.
It is good.
old but gold
The second game is better.
This one is fine, but the second games refines everything and has ALL races from the beginning available without a DLC paywall behind
Somewhat repetitive and the RNG can really screw you over, but still very enjoyable.
The game pretends that you're the admiral of a sector fleet... then proceeds to treat you like a thrall on the gun deck who isn't loading the cannons fast enough.
Multiplayer is dead, so can't really speak to it, but single player is.... interesting.
Honestly, it's very tricky, the combat is brutal, and the computer will absolutely punish as badly as it can, even on easy mode, if you make a mistake or misstep. At first it's frustrating, even maddening. But eventually the Stockholm syndrome sets in and you start to enjoy it, losing yourself in the mindless stress of what it must be like to be an Imperial Navy force in a galaxy where everything wants to unalive you the second you let your guard down.
The game feels a little unfinished, probably because it is, but if you want to experience the bizarre stress of ponderous naval combat that's somehow horrifically slow and yet way too fast all at once, add it to your wish list and grab it next time it hits a sale.
Great strategy game, though bare in mind that you must like careful positioning.
Great part one.
right now my nova cannon is bugged and wont fire regardless. Dont know why thats a thing.
The game felt slow and wonky at first. I blame my expectations. This is not a reel time strategy game, at least not one in the traditional sense. It is slow, methodical, brutal, FUN ship warfare. Once you get a handle on the mechanics, the game is very rewarding.
AI has issues, there are issues in general. Some design decisions I dont understand. That being said. Its fun and worth a grab on sale.
EasyAntiCheat so doesn't work - shock.
If you use ASUS, forget it also but you won't see that in the system reqs.
BIOS update was required in my case, as well as eliminating Armoury Crate and its associate functions. Took hours to troubleshoot this nonsense.
Bought it on sale. Have nearly quit at least five times because I've found it very difficult. I have, however, started to get the hang of things, and now that I have, I'm enjoying it much more. When I finish I might challenge myself and take it off easy difficulty. If you're a 40k fan, and enjoy games that make you pull whatever hair you have, (or in my case, don't have), out, give it a go.
