It is said that a fixer will take any job as long as the price is right. Though many act mainly as private investigators, many others will do any job to pay the rent.
What will become of Shizume on one of her first big jobs as she visits into the most dangerous area of the city... The Slums.
This story includes over 5000 words of spoken lines.
As well as 80 un-lockable illustrations to view in the Database.

Typical japanese-type visual novel with a woman having clothes torn off and a man obtaining superpowers. It has been done to death, The art is decent. The prose is competent. Overall, meh.

this VN has a pretty straight forward linear path depending on the options chose, however I would still recommend it as IMO it's one of the best i've played so far. Graphics and photos are similar to what you would see in a comic book from the 90's/2000s, but there are HD versions available as DLC
Just like the title says, an introduction to the Echo Tokyo world. Contains two stories protagonized by two different characters. In one you can make a few choices, the other is kinetic (no choices). You can complete both in an hour. While one of them was ok, the other was great and was well worth the price of admission.
While the two stories are meant to introduce two games, one starring each character, they are interesting and good stories on their own right. Recommend giving them a read.
Not too bad, but I still think it's lackluster...
I'm not necessarily a fan of graphical novels, but I do enjoy anime and even some hentai from time to time, so I figured I could always look into this. Also because the drawings look decent enough and well... a harsh(er) story doesn't really upset me.
Unfortunately I ended up disappointed. The description claims "professional voice acting" but I didn't really recognize any of that. I played the girls story and her voice was plain out difficult to understand because of the rather poor sound quality; it's a bit too soft but most of all hardly articulated. It's just a bland voice who recites some lines, that's my impression of this anyway.
Look... When the story goes "I sigh" and the girl literally says "I sigh" then I facepalm because... why not share an actual sigh? Which brings me to my other issue: there's hardly any emotion behind the voice. Even when she gets attacked and her clothes get ripped the voice is still bland and pretty emotionless.
I also didn't enjoy the fact that it was only in English, I really expected some Japanese voices to be used as well (I know I should have known better because it's mentioned right on the store page, but hey...).
Weird censoring....
For the record: I didn't pick this up to get a glimpse at some b00bies but... the game does warn for "nudity" and we do get into a scene where the girl gets attacked by some horny bastards who start ripping her clothes. Although I can understand that a game doesn't want to provide full nudity I do think they could have executed this much better than they did.
I mean.... carefully placing some cloth fabrics to cover some specific parts? That looked ridiculous to me, not to mention plain out cheap; a classic yet dumb teaser. Either live up to the tag and basically provide what any manga would provide, or don't even bother to go there and keep things covered. But this really looked cheap to me.
In conclusion...
I'm sure part of my 'nay' is based on the fact that I'm not necessarily a fan of graphical novels. However... the voice acting could have been a lot better than it is. The drawings aren't bad, some are plain out good, but some scenes looked just dumb to me. All in all it's not something I'd recommend.
The "game" took me 59 minutes. Shizume's story took about 55 minutes of that as you have to make flip of the coin decisions that can kill her. Keiji's story has no decisions and takes about 5 minutes to read. Both stories will remind you of certain comic book characters. I give it a 5/10 so it gets a passing grade. (Tie goes to the runner as baseball fans know).
Judging by some of the artwork, the artist clearly has the chops to produce good work if they put the time in. Sadly, most of the artwork is rather rushed by comparison. If the artist reads this, I entreat them to put the time in and really make something great. It's very clear that they can. Either that or several different artists of vastly differing ability collaborated on the same project.
It's wonderful to have full English voice acting in a game like this for a change, and the voice acting is very good.
If the dev/devs/artist/artists patch the game with artwork that does not look like placeholder sketches coloured in, they could save this project. As it stands it's not really worth your time, let alone your money.
Short but not sweet, these two tales become grim quickly as the story delves into the darker depths of human (or inhuman) nature. I took the eye candy route first (Shizume)... very different compared to Keiji's route. Both worth the exploration. Voice acting i found unnecessary for the entirety of the text, but this is a personal opinion. When reading visual novels, I am not used to the character reading the general text on top of their own voice and actions, it felt a bit much. The voice acting itself however was not bad. That said, looking forward to the next installment and conintuation of this game as the stories end in a spot asking that annoying "What happens next?".
This is a quick little visual novel. Though all the choices are in the Shizume route (five of the achievements, too). Quick and easy in its way. Also fairly interesting, though I do wonder how the story will progress forward (will it be in game form, or graphic novels?).

Two stories, the first is about a female P.I. looking for a missed girl with multiple endings.
The second story is about a boy who gets abducted by some evil scientists, and turned into a cybernetic killer.
Hit autoplay, lean back and listen to the stories.
Well written script, sometimes riveting.
It takes approximately 90 minutes on autoplay, too bad there are no cards.

The game has good potential, yet it lacks the execution. I know, visual novels are not like action games, but you don't have too many choices. (In case of Keiji's story, you just read it.) Even the few choices for Shizume doesn't make too much difference.
Shame. I'm curious what will happen in the later strories, but not that curious to buy it or recommend it.

These are two separate storylines, indtroducing two charakters for an upcoming game by the same developer. One storyline is purely kinetic, the other one makes you look for the right path to follow ( and then there are two true endings). Fairly short, so i recommend buying this when it is one sale, ideal for achievement hunters.

- Soundvolume in menu and in the story is different, so you can get deaf when you go back to the main menu.
Short adventure with average story and above average anmie. I beat the games and collected all achievements in less than 2 hours. Recommend to buy in on sale only.
I know this is an “intro” of the story, but still… It felt way too quick and left a lot unexplained. Just because it’s an intro, it doesn’t have to be all secrets or whatever; I felt lost most of the time. The voice acting wasn’t good. Seriously, the VA’s were just… reading the script. You can’t feel their emotions, you can’t “connect” to the characters at all. There’s also only one background song and no sound effects. It felt… Empty, I guess?
There should be an option to turn off the voices… The good point (I guess) is that there are a lot of CGs.
I’m being really honest. I also got the graphic novel and I plan to get the new DLC too. I hope that the next chapter will be better and more clear about the story.
3/10. I suggest getting it on sale or on a bundle for a quick experience. Due to the lack of logic during the story, I cannot recommend this game. The problem isn’t how interactive it is, the problem is that you can’t relate to the characters/get interested on them since everything’s so quick and you simply don’t understand what’s happening. Again, I wish good luck to the developers on the next chapters!

Visual elements and audio elements
Visual elements – The character designs have “western art” screaming all over them which I am alright with it and would welcome it warmly. But what really bugs me here is 1 of their particular CG which stands out the best among all of them, it looks so good compared to the others it is like for that particular CG they spent $10 on it while the others $5. It was inconsistent in terms of art. As seen in the above examples it is quite obvious on the artstyle consistency. Overall it just looks acceptable but lazy at the same time. What I think it should do is just do a single style of art and not try to mix them up because instead of making it looks good overall it looks out of place completely.
Audio elements – Pretty sure not many people have realized this but there is only 1 soundtrack used in it, it sound nice but just having 1 in a visual novel is not going to look good at all, it left a bad impression on me for sure.
Technical aspects something I rarely talk about in a VN
– Extremely limited settings to do in this VN. Like for example in the options area there is only 2 things you could do.. Going windowed mode or full screen mode and that is pretty much it.
– The text appears word by word there is no way to change its settings for it. I have always read visual novels with words appearing instantly and for this I cannot change that I am being forced to read and double click to do the same effect off reading it with the words appearing instantly, which has lead to reading this particular visual novel a quite uncomfortable.
– You cannot turn off voice acting. I personally did like the voice acting but it I just did not like it and it did get in the way of reading combine with the fact that it cannot be turned off its another factor to be added into the negative.
– You cannot save during choices. I think this is really serious issue this is a visual novel and a short one that is. I do not understand why there is no way to save during choices. Not having the ability to save during choices a lazy aspect of this visual novel, what are they trying to do with this one not being able to save during choices are they trying to be a “dark souls” version in the visual novel market? Oh wait even dark souls have checkpoints at the very least.
– Not having the ability to have multiple save slots, this is stupid in my opinion especially since this is not a kinetic novel. The fact that the reader could only use
To sum up
Do I recommend this visual novel? Simple answer no not at all, despite it being an “intro” the story still fell too short all it does in the story is “set up” basically it sets up its theme as a whole and that it. Onto the settings that you can do it is extremely limited it is quite annoying when I went into this I checked for its option and was shocked and my reaction was “That’s it?”. Yes that was my raw reaction to its functions. Overall giving this a miss will not hurt much.

Cyberpunková vizualní novela, která se může pochlubit nadprůměrnými kresbami, příjemnou hudbou, lákavou cenou a především velice zdařilým dabingem. Bohužel se jedná pouze o intro a tomu odpovídá také délka hry, která se pohybuje mezi 20ti až 25ti minutami, i malý počet příběhových rozhodnutí. Osobně hru hodnotím 8/10 hlavně díky již zmiňovanému dabingu a lehce získatelným achievmentům.
A really good visual novel, if currently rather short as only one of the stories is ready. In Shizume's story you play as a 'fixer' (private detective) who infiltrates the slums to find a missing girl. Of course it's not as straightforward as that.
The game is set in a very visually appealing setting of a post-disaster Tokyo, where everyone lives far above the clouds. The story is told through static images, a lot of them, which are very skillfully drawn and it's all set to soothing music.
Every line of text is voiced by the voice actress, sounding very professional. My one criticism there would be that she seems to be holding back a bit in scenes where more emotion would be required.
Echo Tokyo: Intro is a visual novel I can definitely recommend. It's one of the best on Steam currently, making up for its current short length with its low price -- and more content to come soon in the form of a second chapter.

It does not feature any choices, but does provide another half hour of story. It is much darker in tone than the first one. Like the first chapter, it is fully voiced and told through static images -- all new art -- set to music.
This is a very short and very limited interactive graphic novel. Some of the art is good but the art involving characters is obviously less quality than the background images. The backgrounds are very nice and detailed but the characters look as though they were drawn using MS Paint while being rushed. The quality of audio for the voices is very good but the dialog isn't.
There are really only 4 different options you can select with the game in its current state (and that's if you make it far enough to get those options but you can always start a new game). That is the entire graphic novel, there is nothing else to it. You click one of two options for each time the opportunity presents itself and repeat that process at most 3 times. I spent about 24 minutes interacting with it and was able to unlock all of the achievements and complete the novel. That is too short in my opinion.
There is one good feature I like about it though, there is a skip button that will allow you to skip past dialog you've already experienced and go directly to selecting one of the two choices you are able to pick. So if you've already experienced the story with one option, you can start a new game and skip the the point where you wanted to chose a different option and hope it changes the story. There is also a quick save option but one round of the story is so short it doesn't have any real use from my perspective.
I bought this game on sale for $2.24 and I'm not upset about the money I spent but if I knew how short it was, the iffy story and art, and how little interaction I would have with it, I would have passed. Maybe the additional content that will get added later will help but as the game is now, I would not recommend buying it.
As described, this is a short visual novel. The voiced narration is well done and the art is better than a lot of the other low effort visual novels you'll find on Steam. There are a few branching path choices that'll give you different endings, but you can see all there is to see within a couple of hours (at least until more content is added). That's not that bad for the low price tag. From Shizume's origin story you can already get the sense that there's a lot of potential for this world/story and it does make you want to find out what happens next. Definitely worth checking out if the description/art intrigues you.
Be warned, there's some rapey-type content in it, so if that makes you uncomfortable then you may want to stay away. On the other hand, if you're in it for revealing imagery of anime girls there's plenty of that.

I do understand that this is an Intro, but with the lack of content right now, i can barely deduce or review anything. But here is what i can deduce so far

I was really hoping that the art would look like how it is on the cover of the game, but sadly it wasn't. It wasn't bad, but not really what I was expecting due to how nice the Cover looked like.
I wouldn't really reccomend buying this game right now since, there really isn't that much to play yet
Another one of games that needs a neutral, but as of right now, it leans more towards a no due to the sheer lack of content.
Really hope they do well with the rest of the story, i really do want to give this game a Good Rating, but as of right now I really cant.
