- Bad to the Bone! Lock up the worst of the worst in the NEW Restricted Access Quarters for 23 hours a day with 1 hour for outside exercise.
- Someone’s Gotta Pay! Build prisoner factories to bring in some extra income to help keep the prisons finances healthy.
- Be the Big Boss! Determine your prisoner’s fate - release your prisoner on parole or keep them locked up for the safety of society (and your pocketbook)

This game honestly changed my life. The death row inmate documentaries, the life in prison stories of a fella with heart, the human element. It all pales in comparison to this video game. I hate to even call it a video game. If you surmise that "things" have a peak potential... well install this. You've now become witness to perfection. I believe in you.

no tutorial makes this game kinda annoying to start off. theres also no way to burrow money and correct mistakes.
An absolute stinking turd of a game.
the controls are horrid, the notifications are incomprehensible, and there is really nothing fun about it, pathing glitches constantly requiring deleting and recreation of buildings because everyone is stuck standing at the door, sometimes escape tunnels just don't render so you have no reasonable chance to see where to send your guards to close them, the guard towers are supposed to spot tunnels but don't seem to do anything at all.
Absolutly terrible. Spent a couple minutes then deleted it as the controls were terrible and the ingame clock moves way too slowly.(this game come bundled with a lot of old and generally crappy games. Unbelievable cash grab.) Don't buy this garbage. I give it a 1.5/10.
Where to start with this game.... got it as part on an enticing bundle a while back, thought I'd give it a go and I spent the first 10 minutes trying to figure out how to hire staff due to the fact there is no guide or tutorial so if you don't know you have to guess until you give up and google. Quit trying to play the game after trying to figure out how to assign prison staff. Not worth the money, not worth the time playing this game! Prison Architect is 10x better!
Yep I'm a life long gamer. Can't play this thing. Is this a game or a con? Honestly, worst thing EVER. Steam, you should not even have this on your shelf. Bad for your image allowing this stuff to be sold to your customers.
With a little update this game will be perfect
Another crappy game from a bundle pack that should have been retired instead of hastily ported to steam. The game is bad for a lot of reasons, but the biggest is its confusing interface. There isn't a tutorial mode, there are very few 'challenge' scenarios, theres no way of seeing when the next milestones are, building position seems to be irrelevant... The entire game is from another era - and while it might have some nostalgic value for a couple minutes, it definitely doesn't meet todays standards of a pay to play game -- it doesn't even hold up to most free games.
The game has a lot of issues however I highly recommend you guys give it a go. The idea of the game is very good and it is well worth a shot.

This is not a functioning game. Prison Tycoon is probably the best prison simulator you can buy.
Its really bad. Mmmkay.
game is totally outdated do not waste your time, it's not a sharp game either everything seems to lag. Idea is great and it seems they have coevered all the basics but it can feel like a struggle just to find a guard and prevent a prison escape

Do you like building up a prison and haven't played the prison tycoon 3? Then don't buy this nor the third one since nethier have a tutorial so good luck in trying to play the game (Get prison architect instead save your money for that and a enjoy a more complex, better polished game which also has better graphics.)

I have never in my life wanted to make a prison as much as I have when I thought about buying this game six years ago. Now that I own it, I regret every cent I payed.
