Super fun game and the animation is bright fun and unique. Hope this is a series!
Very cute and engaging mystery game. Surprisingly full of different kinds of gameplay. I really enjoyed the story up through the cliffhanger ending...really hope it gets the sequel it desperately needs to complete the narrative.
Fun game. Simple puzzles, yet a good interesting story. If you are into mysteries I'd recommend it.
An extremely charming game. i hope the developer has plans for a sequel! One of the more enjoyable videogame experiences I have had. If you are looking for a family friendly break from the violence, hellscape and cynicism of so many other games, this is a breath of fresh air.
Flashing lights can cause headaches
I loved the vibes of the game and the twist at the end was very creative and interesting the characters are so amazingly written and explored. I hope this game gets a more in the series and we can explore the truths about all the mysteries still waiting to be solved.
Fantastic style, corny but enjoyable comedy and dialogue, great soundtrack and foleywork. Puzzles were generally mixed but overall fun little brain teasers. I had a total blast all the way through, would definitely recommend to those who enjoy point-and-click games of yore with the added gaming conveniences of the modern age. I hope to someday see a continuation in some way; they've hooked into my brain and there's no leaving any time soon.

I've played this game before on the Nintendo Switch and fell in love with it instantly. The world and art style is extremely charming and there's effort poured into every corner of this game and now they've updated it with even MORE features so there's absolutely no reason not to pick up this absolute gem.
It's one of the games of all time for me.
Joke aside, this game is REALLY well written. The cast is very colorful and the art... don't get me started on it. The art is by far my favorite thing about this game. It's so beautiful. I almost wish there was a show about this game instead!
If you want a cute protagonist and a great story with a lot of choices (that will not affect the ending at all), then by all means, BUY IT!!!
I'll preface this by saying I actually think a lot of the "hate" and negativity around the "story being incomplete" is a bit overblown.
Obviously there's a bigger mystery but not one that belongs in this game or in DLC attached to it, it a part of the world, but not the mystery this story is about, that in fact is concluded.
That said. I'd still not recommend this game, its a detective game with to say 3 puzzles would be wildly generous because all 3 types can described as lining up egdes. Certainly no brain teasers, they are in the truest sense "puzzles"...for 3 year olds.
The author narrator was a nice idea but completely overstays his welcome, he should have faded into the background as you get immersed in the story. Instead he ramps up his commentary on increasing mundane and obvious things that take the sting out of any narrative point coming.
I don't understand why they have dialogue choice because all along its so clear they wanted Jenny to have a certain (rather unlikable) character with zero growth, they do often don't remotely line up to the clue given. And all along its a game where shes growing up, an adult capable of making her own choices...all the while she acts more and more like a child to all around her.
And the forced twist in the end does more to be victim of the thing its trying to make commentary on then actually being at all interesting. And its so obvious what the intent of that twist will be in the game that will likely never exist.
The best part of this game was its opening and introduction to its world and characters, everything they do with it after, its all down hill, an excercise in tedium. Can't say if the sequel ever did come I'd buy it nor am I at all interested in replaying the game to find objects by pixel hunting on maps I've already travelled through multiple times in the 1 playthough, to look for ACTUAL invisible items, that even seem to randomly appear in areas you can access based on story progress, a thing I don't think even the worst old point and click adventures would do.

Easy game but lot of tricks and clues to find.
Beautyfull graphism et very good music ambiant
A point-and-click adventure that ends in a major cliffhanger. The game was made by two people and they are still working on the second part, but it is not expected to come out until 2026. This might be a deal-breaker for some, but I think fans of the genre will still want to pick up this game. The puzzles are well done without any moon logic. The characters are engaging and I do like the story-within-a-story elements.
I look forward to picking up the second part, whenever it comes out.

✅ a well-developed and intriguing murder story with some twists and turns. you're playing Jenny, who is a young, bespectacled detective little girl, and investigating a murder in Arthurton, the fictional town where the protagonist lives. your mother is framed for a man's murder, and you are trying to save her
✅ there are nice variety, easy and fun to solve puzzles and mini games
✅ deduction board puzzles also easy and fun to solve. You just need to follow dialogues very closely
✅ well made cartoony cutscenes
✅ there are some creepy and atmospheric environments, like a graveyard and mines.
✅ charming, likeable, quirky main and side characters
✅ there are some nice background musics that perfectly fit the chapter's atmosphere.
✅ decent voice acting
✅ there are steam achievements
✅ lenghty adventure
✅ there are in game collectibles and gallery
cons
❌ controls are designed for a gamepad, so playing this game with a keyboard quite agonizing.
❌ clunky controls in some mini games
❌ there is no manual save. only auto save
❌ the game presents half of a story, and it concludes abruptly with a cliffhanger. there is still no continuation to this game.
❌ mostly very easy puzzles (if you want to some challenge)
❌ I think its style and humour appeals to more children. You may find it simplistic, infantile and boring as an adult
❌ no cards
❌ after a while, some puzzles and mini games become repetitive and tedious
❌ slow progressing plot and gameplay drags out during the game, and this fact also bloats playing time unnecessarily.
Overall, if you're into well-quality and polished detective and investigation-themed adventure games, you're going to enjoy this one.
Didn't finish this game as things get a little repetitive for people experienced in puzzle games like Professor Layton, but I still had a lot of fun with it. The voice acting and the frame story are both really good. Definitely a fun for all ages kind of game.
