About the Game
Nancy Drew®: The White Wolf of Icicle Creek is a first-person perspective, point-and-click adventure game. The player is Nancy Drew and has to solve a mystery. Explore rich environments for clues, interrogate suspects, and solve puzzles and mini-games.
Mournful howls and thunderous explosions roll across the frozen Canadian mountains surrounding the Icicle Creek Lodge. Former guests say that the resort is jinxed, but the staff blames a mysterious wolf. Is the wild animal connected to a lurking saboteur, or is the wolf warning the residents of bigger danger? It’s up to you, as Nancy Drew, to uncover the secrets before someone leaves you out in the cold! Follow a trail to hidden secrets and sabotage! Dare to Play!

Fun game but screw the survey...
do chores simulator
This is the worst Nancy Drew game we've ever played. If you like doing chores, it's great! Nancy becomes a maid and a cook and you have to keep to a specific schedule - grinding out chores over and over again. If you fail to complete them, you will be fired, so there is no way around it. Not to mention the horrible game mechanics (cough cough the snow mobile).
This is a good game -- but I honestly can't say it's my favorite. It is so full of forced "chores" that it interferes with the game's pace and overall playing experience. While some puzzles are excellent (fox and geese and the snow-shoveling puzzle, for example), others can be brutal. Great atmosphere and music, though -- this game is renowned for being THE iconic winter ND game, so it's worth a play.
Relaxing, leisurely game. Likable characters.
The worst puzzles and the start of Nancy Drew games diverting from quirky funny feel-good games to something that is trying too hard to be taken seriously and not fun. I feel happy knowing I'll never see Fox and Geese again in my life.

Fox and Geese was a challenge until I actually started trying and stopped with the defeatism. Managed complete all 3 within 5 minutes after that.

Sometimes (always), I feel exactly like Nancy Drew... (every second every day)
The Count and I started this one about two years ago. Only now have we finally finished it. What an accomplishment!
I am a Learned Lynx, so I can tell you for certain, with my expert research skills, that this is my favorite Nancy Drew game that I've finished. Does that have anything to do with it being the only Nancy Drew game that I have finished? Who's to say...
I really like the part where all the radioactive stuff is hanging out in the lodge. I also think the cooking is funny.
There was also a part where you get trapped in the sauna. Good thing it wasn't filled with Kryptonite!! HAHA!

If you can get the pig on the geese and foxes game you're officially King-Level.

I realized typing this out that I don't have too much positive to say about this. I'm somewhere inbetween recommending and not recommending it, but ultimately I have more negative to say than positive. I wish ratings could be "number of stars" based and if it were, I'd give it a 3 star rating. I wouldn't play this again, personally.
Things I liked:
-Being the cook
Things I disliked:
-Having to dial the full number when wanting to call someone, as opposed to just clicking "Ned" for example
-The heads of the animals with glowing eyes in the lodge leading to absolutely nothing
-No guidance from the checklist and little to no guidance/hints when you call Ned/Tino
I felt like I spent most of this game wandering around aimlessly and the other huge time stealer was playing fox and geese at the end for (I stg) like 2 IRL hours.
Idkkkkkkk. The wolfie cute tho and I'm glad is safe.
Although I hated a few mini games (I'm looking at you floating ice and skiing) and this one had the SLOWEST start to action (or so it felt), Isis and her story made everything worth it!
whoever made the ice and fox + geese puzzle should be in jail
