About the Game
Nancy Drew®: Danger on Deception Island is a first-person perspective, point-and-click adventure game. The player is Nancy Drew and has to solve a mystery. Explore rich environments for clues, interrogate suspects, and solve puzzles and mini-games.
A much-anticipated vacation to a remote island in the Pacific Northwest abruptly runs aground when you, as Nancy Drew, discover that an unseen assailant has vandalized the whale-watching boat owned by your host, Katie Firestone. I have been playing Nancy Drew games for almost 20 years. They're great even at almost 30.
whales rule
One of my top favorite Nancy Drew games! Just love everything about it.
The game itself is cute but between the graphics and the game interface it's a 20 year old game. Which is fine if you know what you're getting into. But this game also somehow caused my computer to freeze up anytime it went to sleep and I'd have to restart it.
I've always enjoyed Nancy Drew games since I was a kid, so its been a fun time to start playing them again!

I'm not a fan of this title, for various reasons of my own... skipping the rock was annoying. I will probably finish this story and never look back. Overall the Nancy games are worth playing & some are a lot of fun.
One of the best Nancy Drew games out there. Great puzzles, music, vibes.. It's an older game so the graphics aren't great but I grew up playing these games so they are very nostalgic for me.
Nancy Drew is the best, also this is one of my fav older nancy drew games

Either this one or Treasure In The Royal Tower was my first Nancy Drew game. I really enjoyed these as a child and as a teenager. I still have yet to finish some of these!
In this title, I very much enjoyed the setting, especially the theme on marine animals, dolphins, and whales. There is a museum in the game called Whale World which teaches players a lot of fun and cool facts about dolphins, whales, and their relatives! Honestly, I feel like this game was part of what sparked my childhood interest of these majestic marine mammals. :)
I also quite enjoyed some of the soundtracks in this game, particularly the pieces that are reminiscent of Irish and Celtic music, including the Jig track.
I enjoyed the mystery factor of the game as well; some of the environments were quite foreboding and mysterious, and it was fun to explore, especially I enjoyed the sea cave and decoding the letter with the riddles. :)
One more case successfully solved. Nice. That be a tought one, not as usual. :-)
I grew up playing this games and have always enjoyed them! Now as a adult I find it funner but also harder! :)
I grew up playing Nancy drew, so being able to play all the old games again is the best! Especially this one, its my favourite one!
