About the Game
Nancy Drew®: Secret of the Old Clock is a first-person perspective, point-and-click adventure game. The player is Nancy Drew and has to solve a mystery. Explore rich environments for clues, interrogate suspects, and solve puzzles and mini-games.
The year is 1930. A fiery explosion at the Lilac Inn leaves its owner, Emily Crandall, teetering on the edge of sanity and propels you, as Nancy Drew, headlong into adventure. A will left behind by an eccentric millionaire could solve Emily’s problems, and fortunately, you’ve got a car and can drive anywhere you want. But watch out! Another fun Nancy Drew game! The 1930s setting is a breath of fresh air and really makes you feel like you're in a Nancy Drew novel. The puzzles were fun and provided some challenge without making you want to pull your hair out. If you're looking for a charming and cozy mystery, this one's for you!
The coziest Nancy Drew game for me! It's not as dramatic as the game description makes it sound haha
It has such a warm sunny vibe to it and the mystery feels very safe and there was no pressure-inducing life-threatening puzzle in the end . It doesn't feel as lonely or spooky as many other Nancy Drew games and we get to call Carson Drew for a change (I know Bess and George are Nancy's BFFS, but they are literally almost in every game).
There is a nice balance between the "interrogating" part and puzzles, which are very fun, and there are some nice on-the-side activities such as mini-golf and post delivery. It was quite funny to try and find a customer that would actually tip Nancy...and if you deliver letters long enough, you get to encounter one peculiar camp counsellor.
I recommend it both as an nice throwback if you want to revisit old classics and as nice intro game for new players, because the puzzles here are not as difficult as in the newer games.

a great game for veteran Nancy Drew gamers or those just starting out. many fun games and a good story line.

Its a fairly short ND game but its got all the nostalgia you're looking for! <3
Loved this one. The puzzles kept me busy and entertained. The story was great too. Highly recommend this one!
