Nancy Drew®: Danger by Design is a first-person perspective, point-and-click adventure game. The player is Nancy Drew and has to solve a mystery. Explore rich environments for clues, interrogate suspects, and solve puzzles and mini-games.

An enjoyable game with a decent number of puzzles, characters, and locations.
While the graphics are not the best of the Nancy Drew games, they are in no way bad, especially after you have a few minutes to acclimate to the look.
I enjoyed the mystery, though I would have enjoyed a bit of extension to the game play; a bit more interaction with some of the characters and maybe a little more regarding what they would gain or lose if they were the culprit.
All in all, I really did enjoy it. I have played it a about three times over the years, but for some reason it never stuck out in my mind... replaying it again after a number of years made me realize it's better than I remembered. Out of the 30+ Nancy Drew games I've played I couldn't honestly say this is my personal favorite, but it is a fun game that is worth playing if you are a fan of the series... especially if you can get it on sale.

5.5/10... okay game. the puzzle is amazing! the plotline is a bit ehh for me.
Two annoying things in the game:
- earning money via painting - extremely repetitive
- rats stole my book on decoding so I could not finish the last puzzle and had to look it up.
Still, I enjoyed the game overall.
In a word: RUDE
While presenting a very ... sanitized version of WWII history as a B-plot, the A-plot of working to discover what's going on in a fashion designer's mind as she goes steadily more off the rails is quite fun.
This is one of my Favourite games to play, the only problem I have with it is that it's relatively short but it has replayability going for it, so I enjoy that feature.
This game was different than others in that there was no clear-cut mystery to solve other than some of the weird goings-on involving the threats against her boss. Mostly the game just takes place as Nancy is at her internship, with a storyline taking place along the way. I liked it more toward the end when there started to be a little more of a clear objective, but toward the beginning it didn't seem like there was anything that I was working toward. On a completely different note, Jean Traquenard must be a LOST fan because his other two phone numbers in his phone were 48-15-16-23-42 and 10-80-01-08-00. This was clearly intentional, and I'm surprised more fans haven't noticed. Overall I like it in the series, though it wasn't one of my all time favorites. 6/10.
Not my favorite, it felt kinda dry puzzle wise compared to others, but the story about Noisette was interesting and painting for coins was a fun change - also, boy, does Sonny Joon get around!
While I wouldn't say that Danger by Design is one of my favourite ND games, I still consider it to be a good one. Most of the clues and puzzles are not too complicated which, compared to the other games, makes it quite easy to get through. The plot is straightforward but maybe not the most thrilling. All and all, if you enjoy other ND games I would definitely pick this one up too.

This was a fun international edition to the Nancy Drew games, the cast was full of total characters and I liked the overall mystery. I felt like the puzzles weren't that difficult so I didn't need a guide as much which was great. I look forward to playing my next game!
I have mixed opinions on Danger By Design. On the one hand, it does an incredible job at making you feel like you're in Paris diving headfirst into the fashion world. On the other hand, the story is convoluted and without spoiling, you spend a majority of your time doing something other than solving the mystery at hand. Good characters and some good puzzles, definitely better than some of the lesser entries in the series. I still recommend it if you're up for a silly time.
As a Nancy Drew fan, I highly enjoyed this entry of the series. Beautiful backgrounds, an intriguing story, and enjoyable, challenging puzzles make it an excellent game for players who want to explore an atmospheric mystery set in Paris.
