fun but it will be a sec
I never played a single grand stratagy game and only bought this one to get profile background, but decided to give it a try. Started first tutotial but after an hour still do not understand how to play. The game's UI is cluster-f*ck of menus and there is no comprehensive explanation of their purpose, actually there is zero explanation, since tutorial just highlights button to open more menus. This game is clearly intended for veteran players and definitely shouldn't be introduction to the genre.
There is so much to like. Control of nearly every aspect gives you a real sense of leadership.

Managed to defend Finland from Soviet occupation but failed to hold up Ireland's economy in 1930s.
This is my favorite game series of all time, but I honestly can't recommend it in good faith because of the intense map traversal tedium, there is absolutely zero WASD camera support so forget it if you're left handed, this mixed with the thousands of clicks required to get basic systems running, you'll CONSTANTLY find yourself habitually opening tabs you don't need you could've easily clicked a button on your screen for trying to pan your camera to build multiple objects. The developers have zero intention of adding support in their future titles only ignoring users.
This game series has extreme promise, it'd be everyone's favorite game if the devs would listen to just one thing someone said..
It is basically a wargame with many scenarios but the diplomacy is barebone and economy do affect your country.
If you feel like Hearts of Iron 4 could be nerdier on the military side with a more realistic economy, this is the game for you.
It is seemingly not possible to change player name?
