Who can Guybrush trust? Where can he turn? Everything you think you know will be challenged as Tales of Monkey Island builds to its unexpected finale!
About Chapter One
The saga begins with a heated battle involving the brave but often bumbling Mighty Pirate™ Guybrush, his beloved wife Elaine, and their nemesis, the demon pirate LeChuck. When the showdown goes up in flames, Guybrush finds himself marooned on a strange island with winds that always blow inward. How will our hero manage to escape this meteorological anomaly? What has become of LeChuck and Elaine? And what's the story with the infectious voodoo pox that's spreading across the Caribbean, causing Guybrush and other pirates to act like unruly hooligans? These are just some of the many questions posed in this first chapter of one of the most rollicking and rip-roaring entertainment experiences this summer.
About Chapter Two
Guybrush's adventures continue on the high seas as pox-plagued pirates lay siege to the innocent Mer-People. In between defending the Mer-People and dodging the persistent pirate hunter hot on his trail, Guybrush manages to catch up to his beloved wife and despised arch-nemesis — but their reunion is short-lived. Now Guybrush must focus on eradicating the Pox of LeChuck before more harm can be done. And as the Mighty Pirate draws closer to a cure, the waters will only grow murkier in this thrilling chapter of the epic saga.
About Chapter Three
In the third Tales of Monkey Island chapter, Guybrush gets in deep (literally!) as his quest for the voodoo exfoliating La Esponja Grande takes a scenic twist -- through the guts of a giant manatee!
Trapped in the belly of the beast, our hero encounters a surprising band of castaways, including the long-lost (and obsessive-compulsive) explorer Coronado De Cava. Can the Mighty Pirate win the suspicious De Cava's trust? Will pirate hunter Morgan LeFlay prove to be a ruthless enemy, or an unlikely ally? Will the group find La Esponja Grande in time to save Elaine from the rampant Pox of LeChuck? And will the world be crushed by the gnashing teeth of a certain demonic skull? Tales of Monkey Island's moist and absorbing third episode, Lair of the Leviathan, will answer some of these urgent questions -- and raise still more -- as the five month adventure builds to its epic climax!
About Chapter Four
Guybrush returns to Flotsam Island, but forget about a hero's welcome. Handed over to De Singe by the backstabbing Morgan LeFlay, Guybrush is seized by an angry mob and put on trial! With a silk-tongued prosecutor in his face and a hangman's noose dangling over his neck, Guybrush must figure out how to defend himself against grave accusations. Meanwhile, the determined Marquis sets his sights on a new and far more attractive test subject. How on earth will the Mighty Pirate get out of this mess? The monthly Tales of Monkey Island tension continues to mount in "The Trial and Execution of Guybrush Threepwood." Brace yourself for a shocking revelation that will rock the world of Monkey Island to its core.
About Chapter Five
Our piratey heroes meet their ultimate match with the Rise of the Pirate God. Can the world of Monkey Island be saved? Find out as the Tales of Monkey Island saga comes to its thrilling conclusion.

Main character is a complete imbecile with really unfunny dialogue. I suppose it was probably a real knee-slapper of a time back in the early 2000s but today it's just the most cringe behavior. Also, the fact that you can choose dialogue options and then the character doesn't say them, or anything even close to the choice you made, it completely absurd. I'd refund this if I hadn't only spent a few dollars on it.
Not having played the most recent game yet, I think I'd rate this as the 2nd best in the series, after Curse. 3D graphic have improved since Escape and plot is probably the most meaningful of the series so far. The only issue is releasing each chapter as a separate game is stupid and they should have never done that.
Fun fun fun - and a bottle of ..... grog.
Incredible art style, sound fx and music.
This game is a 10 out of 10!
If you like adventure puzzle games, get it.
Im so stupid 😭
7/10 lots of fun, I wish for a remake xD
Escape from Flotsam Island. Fun return to the series, not the best but at £2 for all the episodes definitely worth the price. Funny characters, make sure to use all the chat options to get all the jokes from the game. Mouse movement controls are poor so I'd advise sticking to WASD for movement. Also a couple of random crashes on my playthrough so I'd suggest saving often so as not to lose progress.
(This review is for the complete season, episodes 1-5)
I've had this in my games library forever and for some reason never played it until now. I think I was originally turned off by the art style, in the trailer videos it looks quite horrible, not to mention the transition from 2D to 3D. But I finally gave it a try and I'm happy I did.
The art style grew on me and I was used to it a few hours into the first episode. They were doing the best with what they had, I suppose. The voice acting is great -- on par with other the Monkey Island games, retaining many of the same voice actors. The writing is also very good for the most part, especially considering it was not written by the same team, and the overall narrative is creative and worth playing through to the end. Special shout out to Winslow and Morgan, excellent character additions. Also good to see Stan again.
I'd say the gameplay will be somewhere around 18-20 hours for most people depending on how long it takes you to figure things out and how thoroughly you explore everything. The pacing of the episodes could have been better. I thought the first chapter was really solid, the second chapter was fairly disappointing, things pick up again in chapter three, chapter four is the longest and strongest episode, and then it finishes off with a pretty tedious and anti-climactic chapter five. For the most part the puzzles are fairly intuitive and not overly annoying, but a few of them are pretty tedious and un-intuitive. I had no problem referencing a guide to help move things along when something wasn't making sense.
This is definitely a must play if you have played and liked any of the previous Monkey Island games. If you haven't, you may still enjoy it as a standalone point and click adventure.
Just three words: Marquis de SINGE.
It's a point and click adventure game which had a brief uptick in the nineties and probably should have stayed there. The humor is pretty good, better than other humorous games. But the problem with these kinds of games is that the solution is always bizarrely illogical, like Grim Fandango, which means you have to repeat actions over and over, which kills comedy.
French people were not real before this game invented France
very good
