The game has been EXTREMELY watered down from the original version. NOTHING in the game is made better. The only thing that has been changed is the dumber audience because people are getting stupider by the minute. DO NOT BUY THIS. Get the actual game somewhere else.
GOG has the original version of the game, steam has the mobile port, that being said i have less problems with this game than i do with the second one, no repeating audio along with some nice visual upgrades that keep the old video game aesthetic so i do enjoy it, just don't buy the steam version if this game seems interesting to you
The third game in the Dracula series brings to you a differently new story, visual effects , and some other new game engine features such as a new/improved inventory("craft" system is removed btw, i dont know why), separated section for in-game documents, etc. The storyline is a bit short yet very interesting and thrilling. Overall, it is a worthy part of the series. If you're satisfied with 1&2 Dracula games, this one would be non-less good "settlement".
P.S. This is an Ipad version of the original PC game with some limitations\"cuts". Strange thing that store page of the game shows us a PC version.
P.S.S The game contains some jumpscares so keep that in mind.
Well, this is not the original full version of the game, but it still provides puzzles to solve, however I would have preferred to play the full game, so if you want to play fast without all the game puzzles this may be the choice, otherwise you can find the full original game in other places which challenge your brain more.

This is the "remastered" version that has removed 95% of the puzzles from the original game. While this streamlines the gameplay, most puzzles end up even more obtuse than before. Many devolve into brute force trying of every inventory item. Since the puzzle removal allows you to keep mostly everything you pick up, this becomes tedious, as many items that should have been removed previously remain.
The remaster also condenses all texts and illustrations into tiny, completely unreadable garbage, so good luck reading the clues you might need. The already hokey and convoluted story is reduced to bizarre time shifts and plot holes galore.
I could go on ranting about how awful this game is, but the simple fact is that it absolutely cannot be completed without looking up a walkthrough. This is especially disturbing, as the original version also needed a walkthrough because the puzzles were elaborate affairs (many involving maths or ciphers.) Here, you'll be doing that footwork to discover what elements were broken by the vicious cutting of content.
This game is an insult to point and click adventurers.
After playing Dracula Resurrection and Dracula 2, I was looking forward to Path of the Dragon. Sadly it is completely glitchy and is nothing like the original game. Major elements are missing which makes playing impossible without careful reading of walkthroughs. For example at one point the priest sets off a bomb going into his room. In the original version there is a visible string which needs to be secured with thumb tacks and then cut. In the Steam version there is no string at all! Additionally you acquire numerous items such as berries and a chain which are used to solve puzzles in the original game. In the Steam version they are completely superfluous.
I firt started with a lot of hype, at the middle of the game i was already burntout, the game was super cutted, i was lost so many times, confused, story didnt make sense, but as far as i see the original game was way better, im sad because i liked the first two were already shortned, what a shame ...
I think I got this plus the other two games in this series on sale for about 99 cents each, but even then I don't think these are worth it. By all accounts the CD and GOG are great games, but the Steam version (which was also the ios port) is miserable. Most of the puzzles are cut, there are plenty of items that just aren't used, and this leads to the game being incredibly difficult to follow. Heck, even with a guide it's difficult because of how choppy it gets towards the end. This applies to the first and second games in the series as well, but this one is affected the worst. Go play the full versions of these games, not this hack job.
Not bad. The Steam version, while challenging in it's own right, is a streamlined version of the PC version. The PC version has more puzzles to solve and was more difficult. Why that is, I do not know; perhaps it was too difficult for the majority? Nonetheless, I completed this story with no regrets.
This game lacks many clues needed to fulfill quest! There is no way to complete game that was sold to me in the way it functions!
Honestly, you'd be better off buying the original disc copy of this game, and all the others, too. I noticed a distinct lack of content within minutes of starting, which, later on, made the game extremely hard to play without following a walkthrough. The price on each game, and the bundle itself, really shows the quality. The original is really good, but this version doesn't due it justice at all.
Whoever made this version of this game should be punished by Vlad the impaler himself.
Please don't buy this crappy cut down iOS port version, instead get the one from GOG games. GOG has the full and complete version of this game and you will thanks me later.
It's $10 for Dracula 1,2 and 3 bundle but on sale it goes dow to $2 and that's when i got it, it was a steal.

alright i'm editing my review to say this, this version is absolute garbage. it really is. Please do not get this version, if you want to enjoy the Original game buy the Dracula trilogy off of GOG. this version removes all the fun puzzles because microids thought they were "Too hard"
I bought this game in the hopes of the nostalgia, however this cut mess of a game just doesn't live up to it's former self.
I do not recommend Steams version of the 1st, 2nd or 3rd game, I'm sorry to say.
GOG have the the originals, so much better, and so much more worth your money.
Awful version of this game. It's dumbed down and almost all the puzzles were removed. It has none of the great atmosphere of the original. Not sure who made the decision to mutilate the game like this, but they don't deserve your money.
Dracula 3 fails in the excess. In the first cutscene we can see that the context is quite different from the other 2 games. We leave the nucleus of Jonathan and move into a context where the Catholic Church wants to investigate a possible canonization in a village in Transylvania, Romania. This shift from a romantic and adventure story in the first 2 games to an investigation of the supernatural seemed to be a good change for the series. The lore that is created around this new chapter is very interesting, but that is where the game fails in excess. There are endless dialogues and texts. The problem is not having too much of it, the problem is to have only this. Few puzzles, few parts of action, you are always stuck in a dialogue or pages and pages of readings. If these parts were diluted into interesting actions and puzzles, this would certainly be a great story, unfortunately a failure in excess. And jeez! It is annoying how many times the priest says "Hi, my name is father Moriane".
DON'T BUY IT! it's just a cut,watered down, ipad / android port. It is not the original PC release. It lacks some animations and sound effects,and the puzzles are simplified or even cut. JUST DON'T WASTE MONEY ON THIS CRAPPY PORT.
While this game started off promising as far as the look goes, I had a very hard time playing it. These games were known for being puzzle games. Well, they've removed the puzzles from this version. That means you're going along playing when suddenly you hit a snag because you have a feeling you're supposed to do something to progress. Except the thing you're supposed to do has been removed or - worse - half removed. I spent this entire game bumbling through almost-puzzles that made no sense. You better hope you don't get stuck on a "puzzle" because any walkthrough you find will be useless, since the "puzzle" you're working on will be some ramshackle version of the one from the full game.
I was very excited to play this game, but was not excited to experience a game so hacked up and broken it's virtually unplayable.
This is a castrated version of the original, probably backported from the mobile.
Nobody makes sense there, as 80% of the content is cut.
Do yourself a favor and buy it elsewhere.
Reiterating that this isn't the original version of the game - it's been watered down and rendered pretty much unplayable without following a walkthrough, as the gameplay is jumbled and event triggers are unclear. You'll find yourself tracking down tiny prerequisites you missed a lot. Kind of a hellish experience when dealing with such a linear game, especially considering it's imo one of the most enjoyable point and clicks I remember ever playing, plotwise.
You'd be a lot better off tracking down a disk version of the game.

The origional game was fantastic, I love it.
This, however, is trash, complete trash.
Pros: If I can think of any I'll put them here later...
Cons: They took away the animated characters. Now they just sit there... Lifeless.
Text bubbles that RUIN the any kinda of realism the game had left.
Simplified puzzles from what the origional had. These are so dumbed down a monkey could do them.
