About the Software
Dream Gen is a polyrhythm generator. It allows you to build infinite combinations of sounds and rhythms.
Dream Gen creates stunning visualisations of the polyrhythms you design.
Dream Gen allows you to control the number of notes and chords, with control over each notes pitch, and rhythm pattern. You can modulate the global time, and global pitch.
You can import any wav file as a sample, and then there is inbuilt reverb and low pass filtering controls.
You can even customise the layout to keep open only the parameters that you are tweaking.
On the visual end, you can control bloom, particles, the motion of the notes, as well as the shape. You can set them to any colour you like as well.
You can even export your polyrhythms to MIDI, allowing them to be used in your DAW of choice.

This 'sequencer' is very good.
It has midi-export (Which does not appear to fully export the same tones you hear inside the program itself, at least when it comes to the chord-changes) and can also use imported wave-samples (Even 32bit 96kHz samples, mono and stereo)
You can choose your own chord-progressions (Not as detailed as in a DAW)
It seems very stable and is fun to use.
The graphics also looks good, but imagine if you could import your own photos (You can't, but that would make for great videos)
Speaking of video, there is no video-export, or audio-export, so you need to use a screen-recorder to make those (If you want to make videos or grab the playing audio of course)
It could certainly be expanded to become more advanced, but it's great as it is.
Creating you own samples is highly recommended, as you can get a significantly better sound than with the included stock-samples.
This software is really great, awesome visualized polyrhythm's. doesn't crash but unoptimized for smoothness sometimes, when i stream this software, and if the bloom/particles are high sometimes it cant keep up with smooth frame-rates. and adjusting dials like the bpm or sensitive number dials to adjust is really hard to get to a specific bpm (not able to type in numbers instead only depending on click dragging up and down to get bpm/notes because its very sensitive and not precise enough.
Hoping there will be more updates to come & workshop mods would be insane for this

i know I didn't say too much positive about this but i really do feel its awesome and will only get better, not just a music visualizer, this is amazing, polyrhythm simulation is wild. 4/5 amazing you gotta try this and for $6.50 CAD is a steal, music fr.
would be a 5/5 if most of my complaints were fixed over time.
honestly for five bucks, impressive I really like to listen to this, however I would LOVE if you guys made a second software like this (dream gen 2), and make every aspect of the game customisable, I would literally pay a lot of money for that as long (as every part of the software is procedurally generated)
put me to sleep. would recommend
