The summer launch of Secret Ponchos' "Fully Loaded" PC version is quickly approaching, and this is going to be a high powered upgrade! Thanks to the Early Access community we've been adding new content and features and have reworked the user experience to surprise audiences with a fully featured and enhanced final version.

“12 WEEKS 'TIL SHOWDOWN!”

On June 02, 2015, we start a supercharged Early Access development cycle for our final and critical stretch of the beta. We call this "The 12 Weeks 'Til Showdown," and it’s going to be an intense and fun program worth participating in. In each of the 12 weeks we’ll drop high impact updates to the community while getting your feedback and doing rapid iterations to get this perfect. This will only last (you guessed it!) 12 weeks, and then the final PC version "Secret Ponchos - Fully Loaded" will be launched! We are ready to put in the heavy lifting required to bring these features and new content to light, but we'll need your help to make sure Secret Ponchos Full PC version is awesome!

KEY THINGS WE LEARNED WITH YOUR HELP

We were so excited about heading to this new frontier of merciless, competitive PVP gameplay, that we left the beginners behind! One major focus in the "12 Weeks 'Till Showdown" will be creating proper on-boarding, and supportive features such as AI that will help new players get in the saddle, building a bigger community.
More Content...Lets Do It! We're a small dev that stayed committed to a focus on depth and quality over quantity... It's the only way we could make a game like this. Now that we have the foundation solidified, its time to build on it and expand that content & variety. The game is going to be a lot bigger, with over 200% characters, and 200% maps, new modes, progression systems and seasonal rankings.

What is Secret Ponchos?

An original new take on how fighting games work. It is a fast-paced, strategic, and addictive PVP experience staged in a stylized Spaghetti Western universe of outlaws and bounty hunters.

• Isometric style fighting game, Create an outlaw and battle online in PVP gang fights, or as a lone bandit.
  
• EVERY MOVE IS A SKILL SHOT!! Fighting mechanics that use quick twitch reflexes, careful timing, and precision. Picture a split second dive roll behind cover, then rushing a pair of enemies guns blazing as you stun one and gun down the other. Secret Ponchos was not built as a MOBA, but as a fighting game that supports fast paced group combat.
  
• Team play is an amazing fit with a fighting game. Form a Spaghetti Western gang of different outlaw classes, and enter the street to gun down your rivals in an intense shootout.
  
• Depth of combat. You may simply run and gun at first, but the layers of combat run deep, creating room for a skilled outlaw to control the fight in the way a true PVP experience needs. There are a large variety of attacks, but everything has a cost. Evasion costs stamina. Every bullet matters since you have to manually reload. A heavy attack leaves you open for counter fire if you miss. Fights rely just as much on your ability to think under pressure as they do on quick reactions and true aim.

• 6 Unique Outlaws, and more to come Each outlaw brings a unique form of depth and gameplay style. Take Phantom Poncho, a deadly bounty hunter who glides quickly and with a crack of his bullwhip wounds enemies only to finish them at short range with a sawed off shotgun. Or consider Kid Red, a fast flashy gunslinger wielding dual pistols and explosive dynamite sticks. Each outlaw plays as different as they look, forming strong team combinations and limitless strategic possibilities.
  
• Line of Sight: Take cover behind the environment to break line-of-sight between you and enemies. When breaking line-of-sight you will disappear from your enemies’ view, allowing you and your team to ambush, flank, or take a moment to reload and regroup. Our line of site and cover mechanics bring the environment into the shootout.
  
• Combat Modes : A fighting game that supports gang vs gang combat! Team play sets it apart from the fighting game genre. It also includes traditional 1v1 standoffs for more intimate battles.
  
• As you gun down opponents the game tracks your character’s match history and the bounties you have collected. Unlock perks, skins, and reputation classes as you gain notoriety and the bounty on your own head rises. Measure yourself in the competitive community via the leaderboards and ranking systems to see who is the most wanted in this competitive environment [/list]

  Starting Small

  We're a small indie team making an ambitious and totally unique multiplayer game, so during Early Access our population won’t compare to the huge multiplayer titles some people are used to. If you buy Secret Ponchos on Early Access, it should be about discovering something cool and wanting to support it to get discovered and grow. You'll be part of a small community that works with the dev team to refine the game together. This is the advantage of having a dev team that's excited to work with a small community to improve their game. We're committed to being available to everyone for weekly play-sessions and feedback. If you want to have full lobbies around the clock like a blockbuster game, consider this fair warning that we are tiny and not there just yet!
