Anomaly 2 is a sequel to the critically acclaimed Anomaly Warzone Earth. Maintaining the core elements of the original, Anomaly 2 adds new features to the single-player campaign and finally puts your skills to a test in a completely unique experience: the dynamic tower defense vs. tower offense multiplayer mode!
In the years following the invasion of Earth in 2018, the planet is overrun by alien machines. Humankind is on the verge of extinction. Banded together in huge convoys, they search the frozen tundra for food and supplies. Since the war, the roles have been reversed: now our species seems to be the Anomaly on a machine-controlled planet. Your convoy, Commander, is called Yukon.
Anomaly 2 takes the RTS tower-offense concept from Anomaly Warzone Earth to a new level. The core elements of the original – tactical planning and the on-field Commander to support troops in combat – are spiced up by a number of important new features.

If the idea of a reverse tower defense game where you play the "creeps" sounds interesting to you, this game is worth a shot. Anomaly 2 builds upon the first game and adds an extra layer of strategy and fun with the transformation mechanic.
Sequel to Anomaly Warzone Earth. Apparently, things went REALLY bad after the first game. The aliens returned and humanity is on the verge of defeat/extinction. Decent. Might want to get on discount.

Nice idea but it ends in a fast paced click orgy. So its mainly fast and right clicking then strategy

It's an unsung classic. So much creativity with all aspects, from overall style to sound and graphics, to gameplay to wondeerfully clear tutortial bits. Also, the story presentations, voice acting, and atmosphere are probably better than most Sci-Fi B movies.
When r we gonna get Anomaly 3????
By the way, I would say this is by far the best entry in the series.
DO be warned if u wanna use a controller- you'll need to be able to configure your own controller profile (pretty easy with Steam, once you know how).
