Story
Life is like a staircase. You just gotta keep climbing. Otherwise, if you start to overthink it, you'll have trouble taking the next step.
Shinichi wants nothing more than to lead a quiet life. Though he was once close friends with Miyuki, the most popular girl in school, his desire for normalcy now keeps them from being anything more than classmates.
Everything changes, however, one day on the roof, when the class oddball, Aoi, suddenly tries to kiss him. Miyuki appears just in time to stop her, but afterward, Shinichi feels the urge to bring some light to this friendless girl's eyes. He enlists Miyuki's aid, and thus, a trio is born.
The days pass, and little by little, Aoi learns what it means to be friends. But at the same time, long-dormant feelings awaken in Miyuki's heart. As the distance between her and Shinichi shrinks, the hard-earned bonds the three share begin to fray.

I love Aoi so much, but Miyuki was the one who really surprised me?? I didn't expect her to go insane like that but it was v understandable. I like how both Aoi and Miyuki do questionable things and that they're both "equally" morally grey. The whole "there are no branches" in life thing is awful, i hate (love) how it's thrown back in your face at the end when you have to make your final choice. I can see the similarities between this and DDLC but god is this so much better, the game feels less like cheap horror and more like my actions have actual consequences. I love the gult tripping /gen.
Really fun. Worth it.

Alright, this VN is INCREDIBLY horny while the scenes are questionable, so much that I doubt it has a good impact on mental health. I think they could have executed the concept without this borderline porn stuff.
Then again, the voice acting was incredibly profesionell throughout the whole game considering all the twisted porn scenes.
Not sure what to rate this VN, but it tips over to positive since its
- somehow charming but only thanks to Aoi
- has a really interesting, fresh concept in the late game
What it fails in:
- music, cgs and ui design are barely enough to get the job done
- first 2/3 of the game are pretty boring and generic
- Miyuki is like the ultimate copy and paste tsundere
- the MC is pathetic and boring, even as a self insert
- story telling without relying on excessive porn
- what the hell are those retarded side characters?
I'd give it a 6/10, mostly held back by its problems. It could have a been a masterpiece but the strong divergence of quality on all the elements it's made up of ruin the stew.
This game is a masterpiece and is totally worth your money.
i cried 5 times, laughed to too much to count, felt sad, felt happy and felt at peace.
this game is the perfect example on how to make characters seem real and relatable and it shows.
it has beautiful artwork, a engaging story, a funny side story and emotional moments but get this theres more, it also includes some sweet sweet horror. by no means is this a horror game yet it still sent chills down my spine.
this game is CRIMINALLY underated and its sad to see that with how good it is.

this game will abuse mentally and physically. I'd rather play silly snake with my uncle than replpay this game. However, despite the man I've become 10/10 must try, one you'll remember suffering through. Far clear of ddlc

Incredibly good, feel like it gave me depression. Highly recommend avoiding guides until you run out of options or have played it through a good few times.
This game is not a psychological horror nor a good romantic visual novel. The characters are shallow and dialogue is poorly written. I genuinely wish I could get a refund but I tried to go through the whole game to make sure that my review was fair. And it is.

this game is actually peak, my first visual novel i've played without watching anyone play it.. and I actually enjoy a visual novel for once, I was hooked from the start of the plot. a pretty early review, but I'm enjoying this game so far.
This game is so good, from the ost to the story. It's amazing, I actually feel like I'm there with the characters and that's what makes it a good story for my end.
it made me cry but its worth it
100% recommended to play it if you're into VNs. Game starts off as a generic love story but later branches into something truly remarkable.
Miyuki is beyond based.

A one of a kind personal experience. Go into this game with sincerity and you'll be rewarded with a story that takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions. No matter what, just keep going. It's worth it, I promise. My time played is way more than listed btw. I played the full version and bought this copy so I could share the SFW version with friends

Absolutely amazing game. The overall plot was really interesting and hit you like a truck.
Though, the work required to do the true ending is rather outrageous but it made up for it with its storybuilding.
One of the best visual novels that I have played by far.
