Its a very basic rpg that has many bugs like character displays staying up, the music stacking, text not loading, test text, and many spelling mistakes. It took way too long to actually get to the interesting content and the first dungeon is a slog.
I really don't want to post negative reviews about these kinds of games, but I kinda have to with this one.
The premise of the game is standard for Kagura, the layout of the city makes 0 sense but its not really supposed to.
Porn game though right, so why bother making the game feel like a game when it's supposed to be nothing other than a glorified gallery viewer right? While I think sometimes in Kagura you can't expect much out of the company as a whole, there are a few gems that show there are people who understand how to make an enjoyable experience.
This game is more of an RPG-lite, there are mechanics that come standard within RPG Maker, class skill trees and multiple classes that require you to grind out dungeons and waste time with encounters, most times getting Pokemon Generation 1 misses almost every combat encounter, with no way to raise your accuracy. There's also looting chests, and getting materials to craft or improve those weapons, but I can't be bothered to engage with a monotonous system like that.
The later levels are interesting but add so many new enemies that just bypass your base stats and have multiple attacks per turn.
The art is okay I guess. The way they draw the female anatomy is like someone drawing a description of what virgin thinks it looks like, rather than looking at one themselves.
There's a lot of repetitive moments in the game that go to show that maybe the game wasn't supposed to be so grindy, but ended up being changed to include multiple of the same encounter but spread throughout the town. You talk to one NPC and it starts a whole sequence where she loses her clothes, and then they all ogle about her body and the sequence ends, but then in the next encounter across the street its the same thing but in a different context, same comments, same kind of "animation", I'm sure it's fine for those who aren't used to it, but for someone who's played an unfortunate amount of these titles from Kagura specifically I get annoyed by it.
The one thing that I cannot recommend this game for is the absolute low resolution this game runs in, idk if its because of a limitation in the art or limitation of the programmer, but other Kagura games scale their art and game resolutions up to at least 720p to 1080p. This game launches in a 800x800 window and you have to either have it in fullscreen which takes up your entire screen in a 4:3 ratio, or in a tiny window you have to squint to view.
If you own a Steam Deck you won't notice this and you can scale it up with FSR to make some of the low resolution art look better.
