the most enjoyable 10 minutes of my life. 10/10
A fun throwback for anyone who remembers 80s Arcade games and spending quarters on Frogger, with a new perspective.
Poggers is a rip-off of Froggers and a scam and a cash grab
Be the best bun that went on a snake killin spree only to have to cross the river to take its spot amung the true Poggers. Survive you must, dance you will.
I love Frogger. While working toward my Applied Computer Science Bachelor's Degree, I took a 2D Game Development class. My final project was a 2D RPG. However, my favorite weekly assignment was creating Frogger using Python and PyGame. I didn't believe my version of Frogger amounted to much but after seeing many Frogger clones on Steam and other sites -- it actually was comparatively good.
I downloaded Poggers because I enjoy Zaxtor99's content and wanted to support him in a way that was mutually beneficial. While I typically only bring multiplayer games into our archive, his games all include integrated online leaderboards which is a stretch but close enough. Between that and the achievements, there are goals and a competitive element other than simply chasing a high score by yourself. Zax seems to have a great grasp of arcade games of the time, as well as what new features appeal to modern game, and managed to execute quite well on both.
The core game itself is Frogger on the surface with quite amateurish graphics, UI, and title screen. All of these elements do fit a common theme. Consistency and coherence trumps disjointed realism any day for me. The gameplay is fairly spot on too. It takes a bit of time to get used to. It doesn't seem to have the abrupt "snap-to-a-grid-tile" feel of original Frogger, but it's definitely manageable here. It's actually quite challenging and doesn't waste your time with the easy levels of the typical Frogger clones. It starts at an intermediate level of difficulty and scales appropriately.
This isn't Prison Ball or even Nerm the Worm, but it's quite close. Out of 4 purchases from Zaxtor99 I've received an A tier game and 3 B tier games, all of which I'll definitely keep installed and play more of in the future. I can't wait to see what is produced if he sticks with development for another 5 to 10 years.
This is a fun, but flawed, recommend that's better than many other titles in the budget price range. Recommend!
I have spent years on Steam looking for the perfect game, and finally I have found it.
An exceptional experience to say the least. Ground breaking graphics and game play, 10/10.
This game is fucking incredible. I have never played anything better. Not a single other game can even attempt to compare to the magnificence of this virtual brain stimulator. It's in fact embarrassing that other games exist when this game is on the market. And for such a cheap price, what is even the point in other games companies existing? They are all going to go out of business.
this is the best video game i have ever had the pleasure of playing. an extremely easy to get into comp scene with a high skill ceiling. the meta changes all the time as well, though currently i am a top 20 player the thrill is that it could change at any time and i am very motivated to constantly one up myself and be one of the best poggers players in the world. truly an engaging technical competitive masterpiece, 10/10
Bunnies are very bad and evil creatures!
They do manipulate our hearts by their cuteness overwhelming! ><
Its a good game that i actually enjoy, i think it would make a excellent time killer and the leaderboard gives me old school vibes that gives a sense of competition and the snakes look overwhelming but once you play it a bit its not bad.
The rage caused by that bird ignited a renewed hate for birds I haven't felt in a while

This game is great. Very refined gameplay, menus are amusing and score system is really neat. I got called 'skilled little bunny' and it was the cutest thing ever. You can kill the snakes, you can be fast, you can dodge things like those racing games where you go past them going really close to get extra points. SFX is neat, I love this a lot will try to go for top1

please play it. as the 18th best person at the game i can tell you it is the best game i've ever played. it is much more than just a frogger clone.
the game i got was completely diffrent from any of the advertizments and i am very dissapointed with my purchase.
NOTICE i am a friend of the developer i know him from youtube but im still gonna be as BRUTALLY honest. the game doesn't have much to it and from first glance looks like something u would find or play on a browser but i know for sure the game is home made by one hobby dev.
as for how the game plays its fine what u see in the pics is what u pretty much get its fun for a little bit and it is a cute game but i would understand if most wouldn't want to buy it. cause u could just play a similar game on a browser. the game is solid tho it even has its own leader boards and doesnt suffer low effort problems like other games that look simple like this one does. the controls are responsive the game never crashed in the short time i played it and u do get a sense of tension as the clock clicks down so u gotta be fast and certain on where u wanna go or u will either end up drowning or getting bit by a cute assortment of snakes on screen also there is a surprise enemy that will just come flying down to get u which can throw u off its fun but not my thing really. in the end it boils down to if u enjoy these kinds of games or not. the game could easily sell way more copies if it had more game modes so in short its biggest flaw is being too simple.
despite that it will give u a kick or two.
A very fun Frogger-clone, with some new features like being able to eat the "traffic" when you get a power-up. The high score table adds replayability to this game.
Well, with almost 7 hours of play, I think it is time to get this game a review. I am going to write this review like this.

This game is totally addictive! It has an old school feel to it with a twist. The sound effects are super cute and it is more challenging than it seems. I have to give Zaxtor a big thumbs up with this.
