Каждый босс выглядит, действует и ощущается совершенно по-разному. Чем вы бы хотели быть? Одноглазой гренкой? Гигантским злобным поршнем?

In theory, this is an amazing game... In practice, it's a half baked, poorly designed, tedious mess.
The game is EXTREMELY grindy. I want to enjoy this with friends every now and then, but the majority of the content is locked behind grind. I'd argue that this qualify as a party game, and those kind of games you just want to pickup and play. I can't be arsed to grind for the content between playing with friends, it takes forever.
The third person mode is just plain boring. It's not why you buy this game and it doesn't fit at all.
The bosses feels unique and varied, but their balance is completely off. On easy, one boss can be extremely easy to win against, while another is literally impossible.
The developers are completely detached from their player base. Stay away from this game. It s*cks.
The game is good and very fun BUT the main feature is broken. More times than not the coop doesnt work correctly since only the host is able to see the mobs and map changes while every other player can only see the boss so this leads to a MAYOR disadvantage to everyone except the host. Once they fix that i would definitely recommend this game for large groups of friends but meanwhile just dont.
Summary
I can see this game being a ton of fun with friends for a couple hours. Honestly it's a great party game. The problem lies with the progression/unlock system in place. It takes hours to unlock anything. Expect to pay for only half the game.
The Details
Bossgard is a one vs many game where you can battle it our with up to 5 vikings against a giant Boss. There's not many games like this one out there so it's unique. The online community is dead so expect to bring friends. The boss and vikings can be setup to be played by bots that can provide quite a challenge. Another cool feature to me was you were able to play in 3rd person perspective as the vikings if you enabled the option in your screen instead of top down. There is also a few other game modes like survival, and viking vs viking that I haven't explored yet. Game play is solid.
The single thing that really brings this gem down is the progression/unlock system. It's a weird implementation but not unheard of for a party game to have a progression system. Ok sure, I'll just go play and unlock them real quick. This turns out to not be the case. To unlock that viking, boss, or map it's going to take hours of playtime to get them unlocked for yourself. I simply don't see myself playing a party game for hours with friends to unlock a single character. It's a cool idea in theory, but it just overdo's it to the extreme.
Here's some information I've gained from my own experience playing the game.
---In the beginning you have 4 of the 10 Vikings unlocked automatically each with there own basic attacks and special abilities. There are additional abilities that are tied to rage that all start off unlocked. Thank goodness!
---You also have 4 of the 6 bosses unlocked. Each of them with very unique abilities and play styles to challenge the vikings.
---4 Maps are unlocked out of 12.
You earn 60 gold for losing a match and 120 gold for winning a match. Bosses and viking's are all 4000 gold each but the price can be lowered by earning artifacts for that character. It's unclear to me how you earn them but I believe you get them randomly at the end of the match. Maps are also 1000 gold. That means in order to unlock a single map you'll need to win 9 games, or lose 17 of them. This game needs a desperate rebalance on the progression/unlock system or remove it entirely. Anyways, I think you get the idea.
The game is decent overall but, even single player and multiplayer became stale fast as there isn't many bosses to play as, the arenas are all pretty much the same as well just with different looks. I would tell you to wait to enjoy this game until its on sale if you really want it as for $20 its a very limited game. I think the concept is fantastic but, more content should be added so therefore I would not recommend this game to anyone and only give this game a 4/10.

Online its pretty dead...
Asymmetrical fighting in top-down arena with vikings flavor and tons of fun. One against many, or rather many against one - one BIG BOSS. Yes, one player takes the role of the boss and the rest are the tiny vikings who dared challenge him. Amazing sound and awesome graphics.
We played it in the family and my kid (12yo) was the boss. He just enjoys smashing and crushing the four of us. I mean we managed to win a couple of times, when we coordinated better, but in the rest of the matches he casually humiliated us, with the evil laugh and all! I guess some players are born to play this part. Me, I'm the poor guy who always dies trying to work the generators in Dead by Daylight :)
Bots are available also and there is a single player mode too. We only tried the couch co-op, but the game works online too. If you don't have some buddies on your couch, have some online players joining up, then show them who's the Boss! :D :D
A good game with solid concepts that could ultimately be a great game. It's got an awesome premise and fun characters but is lacking a critical element...

I think this is more attributed to a young indie team only being able to market so much, but I think this game deserves a shot. And if more people give it a try, it could be a blast. I want to say, the dev team are incredibly invested in this game and want to make it work. They are very receptive to the players in wanting the game to be the best version of itself. Things can only get better.
Out of all the games in this genre, this has to be one of the funnest ones. The bosses are all unique but easy to get a hang of. the way that every boss as 2 stages is very cool to give you that extra boost in power incase the vikings are woopin you. and all the vikings are pretty diffrent in their own way to where you should give them all a try to see what fits you the most. the customization is decent in where you have to use your currency to pledge to one of the gods to get the look you want making your viking look badass. theres also a survival mode thats really fun by its self. going around to try and kill all the mini bosses and power up your dude to unlock the portal for the final boss. its a pretty balanced game unlike other games like this where the boss could over power the others. if your a fan of these types of games or looking for a game to play with 5 of your friends. i highly recommend this. 8 hot dogs out of 9 googly eyes.
The game's good mindless fun with interesting boss mechanics, but one very, very big complaint.
The online multiplayer is totally and completely DEAD and to give the illusion that they have a slightly active game, they run "player-bots" in addition to the game AI bots. This is pretty much the literal form of digital masturbation because let's face it, you're playing with yourself anyway.
Bonus points if you're playing with a joystick.
Highly not recommended for anyone that wants to experience any form of PvP play.
BOSSGARD is a fun game to play with friends for a while no doubt. However, after playing the game for some time, you will quickly realize how broken some of the bosses are in the game.
Bhaar-boot can charge his boss rage(pretty much an ultimate ability) in 20 seconds, all you have to do is roll into the vikings, constantly suck them with his ability and by the way, it can suck vikings that are DODGING and even IN THE GROUND. Playing like that will let the boss win purely by using his boss rage.
Plunge-D can stun lock characters, if you're playing a ranged character and Plunge-D lands his jump on you, good luck surviving. His healing ability spawns flies which very fast and move very randomly making it very hard to hit, allowing him to heal for large amounts easily.
Jackhammer is pretty balanced, although at his second phase, ranged characters are as good as dead because he can just run up to them, wait for them to dodge and shoot to one-shot them.
Olaf of Bread and Fortress and both skill-based in my opinion. As Olaf of Bread, you have to be able to aim your projectiles and land it on dodging vikings and also ensure to not randomly use his face slam as it leaves you very open to huge damage. Fortress can use his walls to protect himself but can also use it offensively but locking up vikings to ensure that he is able to land his projectiles.
In conclusion, if you are competitive by nature, I do not recommend this game. You WILL find is very frustrating playing as the viking as they are very under-powered compared to the bosses in the game. If you constantly play as the boss, you may find this game fun as they are very dominating, especially Bhaar-boot. The game balance currently would satisfy you only if you are taking this casually and not planning on playing it for extended periods of time.
If you are able to deal with the bugs in this game for now and be patient for the devs to fix everything i feel that this game is really worth the buy and it's super fun to play with friends. Do not use the steam's join button to join your friend's lobby as it will bug out instead join your friend's lobby through the game itself (Play > Online > Your friend's steam username will be the room name). Hope the devs fix the interaction bug from steam and reads this comment.
Good start with the abilities to tweak the settings for a custom game, but is way too grindy for our family. With only a very small amount of favor won on each battle, it appears to take us 75+ battles just to unlock a single additional character. For a game we already own and paid for, we just want to sit down and play with 5-6 people and have more than just 2 heroes to choose from. We'll play some other games until this is improved. Maybe have a different mode for casual offline games if there is a strict following of players that feel the need to earn all of the unlocks?
Otherwise lots of fun once the customization is mastered. Really appreciate making this scalable to kids via the health upgrades and attacks, etc. Basically any level of player can beat any boss, which is perfect for a friendly game.
What have you done to the game? It was way better before this. Dont lock the vikings and boss behind a grind wall. That's not why i bought this game. I bought it because its easy to set up and play with many people. Now the game is utter garbage. None of the kids like it anymore.
Before this free weekend I really enjoyed playing this game with my husband. It was a casual smash'em up and we had gained max favor with our favored gods on all our favorite characters.
Then this free weekend reset came and.....it's not the same.
Now you're stuck playing a limited selection of heroes -- two to start -- and it's frustrating, since this is a very repetitive / grindy game, and the only variation is in who, how, and where you play. Now you have to grind just to unlock new characters, and new abilities, new maps, or new bosses (being stuck as evil toast probably sucks worse than having option A or B for heroes) and then instead of guaranteed loot/costumes from gaining favor from the gods now it's randomized loot chests....which I HATE in grindy games -- if I must grind, then please let me at least choose what to spend the fruits of my labors on.
I like some of the new costume options, some of the boss / ability tweaks, but I'm not digging the new forced solo mode/two character start or the random box options. Our friends who tried out the free weekend with us after we told them how much fun this game was also were not impressed, and it was pretty impossible to sell them on sticking it out for however many hours required to unlock the fun aspects of the game.
I'd keep the boss/ability tweaks, but go back to the original system with all characters / bosses / abilities / maps available to play off the bat and all new gear/colors/flares available for level up as you play your favorites.
I would absolutely love to give this game a good review. It has a promising concept and very fun gameplay but the multiplayer currently does not work. It seems a lot of people me included cannot find any lobbies or have not been able to host their own lobbies for friends. Steam stats seems to reflect this as well with extremely low numbers for a seemingly well received game. I hope the devs can fix whatever the issue is with the multiplayer I would love to actually be able to play the game with friends as intended
First problem Player Base im from the EU not sure if that makes a diffrence but there are no people hosting a online game for anyone to join except 1 wich was from the developer of this game wich had 3 clones of himself in the server and were just being afk.
Second problem is the Resurrection skill so let me explain what this is and does The game is boss vs vikings (max 5 vikings).
Vikings get in the default setting 10 shared lives. Now here is the problem the ressurection skill wich all 5 vikings can choose if they want too. does obviously revived down players BUT when they use the skill it doesnt go down from those 10 shared lifes meaning youd need to kill all 5 vikings simultaneously twice if you want to win a fight like that as the boss wich is impossible.
Third problem is gameplay in general. It is clunky you lose track of who you are and where you are most of the time because it is hard to see through everything that is going on. and the controls are also weard and unexplained example the tutorial doesnt tell you that right click targets your aim towards adds instead of the boss.Also you can only read what your character skills do before the match starts wich is roughly a min for the boss you even have to click another i in the top right of the screen you cannot see your abilities in the character menu where you can customize the colors of your characters.
Problem 1 and 2 need to be solved somehow problem 3 sure its clunky but also not so horrible that you cant have fun playing this game.
Also its a easy fix for the second problem if there only would be 1 guy that may have Ressurection selected before you start a match or you would make it a heal instead its problem solved. The first problem however is thougher though for a game that is already out for a month something is wrong already.
As of date 11 April 2019 i would not reccommend buying this game unttil they fix all of these crucial problems mainly 1 and 2.
It's a fun game in it's current state. Lacks content but it's early access. Hopefully we'll see steady updates to the game with more content steadily released.
Fights seem fairly balanced to me. Either that, or I just suck at playing the boss. I win about 50% of my games. I haven't played as a player, and probably won't. Just isn't my style.
I played this game during one of the devs open house events at a pub - as me and my kid girl joined an impromptu match with other dudes. Now all she wants to know is when she can be a (murderous) piece of bread again, so I guess we had to get it.
The game has advanced immensely in the meanwhile, and I look forward to using the Plunger to squash her and her puny 2nd grade friends.

This game is really good at this point in Early Access, I mean for $13 it's fun, it keep you entertained, what I didn't saw till now the 5 vs 1 gameplay (6 players) which is cool , you can get few friends and play together against A.I. Boss. At the moment I didn't notice any bug or crash or anything, seems to be a really good game for the price and developers listen to feedback from streams, would like to see more bosses as is cool they are not actually monsters like in any other game, would like to see a shawarma boss, soda can ,a barbaque, beer glass or anything unusual and also skins for vikings and bosses, not necessary different skin by original character but at least different colors or variant(like gold,platinum,diamond skin texture).
Other thing would be maps, yeah sure right now there are 10 maps i think,if i'm not wrong, but ones like a forest with tree, a seasonal map(autumn,spring etc) maybe...
I recommend the game 10/10 especially if u want to play with another friend ,so much fun and I will update the game review after i will spend some more time in it.

For solo, you can be a BOSS! (The bosses feel good and have very different skills)
For the party, you can be a Viking and get owned by a boss if you suck. (I prefer the ranged ones but the guy that can get big as a boss is cool)
It's worth every penny and can't wait to see what's gonna come for the game.
Feedback for devs:
I would like to see a bit of boost for the Vikings because when you have a party of 2-3, a player Boss can win easily.
