Описание

Dizzy Hearts is a mature visual novel with equal parts romance, comedy and drama. It's a coming of age story about royalty and social status that deals with themes of duty and gender roles.

About

In a world split between eternal day and eternal night, the naïve but energetic Seriva sets out on a rite of passage as part of the tradition of her people, the subterranean Assard. She ventures to the land of eternal night, where she discovers the city of Lungarde.

In the kingdom of elves, she learns that travelers are not that rare in this region, yet Seriva is ignorant to Lungarde's culture, to the cycle of royal lineage and the rare and mysterious 'fiore'—the hermaphroditic sire to the elven people. Rumor has it that Queen Llend has chosen her successor among the four fiore princesses and is soon to abdicate, and it turns out Seriva may have just stumbled right into the middle of everything!

I just couldn't get into this one. it felt so all over the place with the artwork and just like other visual novels from this creator abandoned. 1/10

Disappointing follow up on updates just like mutiny. No voice update, no sexual content and the Queen has really badly censored.
But the visual novel do have high chance of being a really good one. The music is really good, and it looks as pretty as an EA game and plays like one.

To be honest I've been meaning to start this game up again and to see what other outcomes the choices I make may bring. It's been awhile since I last played and I did very much enjoy the story and looking forward to when the next chapter comes out so I can find out what comes next! I recommend this game to anyone who enjoys good VNs and if you are on the fence about it, give it a chance. :3

For once, I actually enjoyed sitting back and finding out where the story was going to go. So many VN's focus on the lust whereas Dizzy does a good job blending it into the story. I am actively waiting for Ch.2

You can tell a lot of time and effort was put into this game. Each character is beautifully drawn, and the backgrounds are detailed and gorgeous. When it comes to visual novels, especially the cheaper ones, you can tell where the developers cut corners. It usually never bothers me because I'm only reading an overglorified book, but it's still really nice when you see them go the extra mile like this. Now only the important, named characters have real models while the others, think villager A and so forth, have a character outline with a shaded design. I was a little weirded out by it at first, but it's grown on me. Each subset of character has at least one outline, so it's easy to differentiate say a maid from a noblewoman to a priestess. There are even multiple outlines for maids to help make the mansion seem more heavily populated. The shaded design they use also goes well with the overall aesthetic they're using. Some people might ask why not give these extras a full-colored design, but then I say, why bother? They're extras. Although use that term loosely. You see quite a bit of one character's harem, so it does feel a little weird to just call them extras.

The story is much more similar to a book than a regular VN which I really appreciate. They take scenes to show how the MC is spending her time in the mansion and taking time to help develop their characters. At one point the MC reads a picture book to some of the servants' children. It doesn't involve any important characters besides the MC, but it does better illustrate what the situation with the servants is inside the mansion. It also helps show what the MC is really like since all the other important characters are important people and the MC tends to get thrown from situation to situation to them. It might matter later on in the story in the next chapters, but even if it doesn't, I still appreciate it. Also of note, yes there is technically futa in this game, but it's more of a plot device than anything. You don't see anything, and so far it's more of just providing a reason for why people can have babies even though every character is a woman. So even if you're not into futa, still go for it.

I'm really looking forward to what this turns in to. The game does give you choices to make here, and I'm interested to see how it affects the later story. So far it isn't a mechanic with much weight that I've noticed so far, but it's obvious that the developers are really moving along with this. Can't wait to see what happens.

I liked the game, the art is amazing, the music, the story.
But even i recommending it i felt in the end like, the chapter ended abruptly and look like my choices didn't even matter, so i will wait for chapter 2

Not as provocative as some of the other games marked with the AO tag but the writing makes up for it in spades. It's a quality read with some lewd images and took me about 6 hours to get through on my first run. I'm not a speedster when it comes to reading but certainly I believe it to be worthwhile enough to write a review about it.

I do not usually write reviews, but I felt the need to do so for Dizzy Hearts. I went into the game not knowing anything about it other than I knew Lupiesoft was working on it for awhile and it certainly shows.

The Good:
-The artwork is gorgeous.
-The soundtrack is beautiful and fit well with the scene taking place.
-The worldbuilding was excellent.
-The story was okay; it wasn’t anything that hadn’t been done before, but its told well enough I enjoyed most of it.
-The characters are all unique and well written. Mostly.

The Bad:
-Despite advertised and even an option for volume, there is no voice acting as of the writing of this review. It is supposed to come later, but I have to dock some points due to that. I really don’t think you should be telling people something exists when it doesn’t yet.
-I absolutely HATE Mercilia. She is every terrible anime trope I despise wrapped into one character. The fact she is basically the forced love interest of Seriva, the protagonist, nearly ruined the story for me. Luckily, all the other characters are great and propped it up.

Overall, the good things outweighed the bad and I felt comfortable giving this a positive review. All that being said though, it is unlikely I will buy the remaining chapters for two main reasons.

1) Despite that liked what I read overall, this was just not what I was looking for or hoping for.

2) The excellent quality of Dizzy Hearts puts on display just how half-assed Lupiesoft’s other game, Mutiny!!, is. And that is really a shame because I love Mutiny!! despite its many flaws and it was how I originally found Lupiesoft and decided to support them. This isn’t the place for that discussion, but I felt I needed to point out the chasm of quality difference in the two if you have one and are thinking about the other. It annoyed me.

In the end, I think it is worth the time and money if you are into these kind of Visual Novels.

Pretty good! I have some minor complaints about certain details of the story, but it's very well written on the whole. Goes without saying that the art is marvelous. Is a bit frustrating where it ends, but that really just means I want more!

This game is good, the art is quite something, i like the humor.
Was expecting something good from them, and they got me. Great game by far, would recommend :)

I'm pretty impressed with the lore and world-building in this story.
It's also very cute with pretty interesting characters. I enjoy the Elven culture in the story and their free-spirited attitude towards sexuality.
Speaking of, there's nothing in this game to merit the "adult only" flag. That's just Valve being Valve. Light and tasteful sexuality bad and only for adults, and violence, murder and mayhem is fine for all!

A promising start into what I hope will become an interesting story. Techical side got really upgraded since their older "chapter 1" releases (yet to try Mutiny).
Note though, while many characters look female, it sprobably is more of a futa-on-female story. At least most of the potential love interests for MC are fiore, including the poster girl Mercilia.

This is just my opinion
A bit short, even considering its only 'chapter 1'. Despite the 'sexual content' tag, it doesn't really contain anything more risque than a few fancy outfits and some very (very) brief references to sex
The story is definitely interesting and engaging enough that I want to keep reading. And the characters are good, almost all of them are memorable and their individual roles and characteristics are well established. Even the ones that are filling the old stereotypes are doing so in a well written, interesting way.
On the flipside, there's a lot of worldbuilding going on but a lot of it seems rather thin and unimportant, so hopefully the future chapters will actually take some of what has been set down and make it worthwhile. Also, while the art is nice, it seems like there isn't enough of it; the MC is constantly cycling through the same small set of facial expressions (so much blushing), so you're totally reliant on the text to tell the story. The 'visual' aspect of the novel thus seems very lacking
Also the store description puts a lot of emphasis on the inclusion of hermaphrodite characters, but its weirdly hard to work out how they are meant to play into the story. And despite about 90% of the character sprites wearing (in some cases excessively) skimpy, skin-tight clothing, only one character thus far has any recognisable 'bulge' (*cough cough*)
Also the lack of sexual content is a lost opportunity in my opinion. Not just for pervy reasons (;D) but also because the game itself seems to be setting up a lot of erotic plotlines and subtext, and they lack any impact at all while the game is, despite itself, avoiding the sex itself. As an example, in one scene the MC is present while two elves are 'maybe' having sex (its unclear). Its meant to be a scene that demonstrates the cultural differences between the MC and the elves (I think), but its given so little time or description that it detracts from the story instead. The MC just immediately jumps into conversation with another nearby elf and we have no idea of what is actually happening, whether or not the MC is actually offended or curious, etc. It's a pointless side note that just seems to exist, without any purpose.
Its the same with the characters clothing; lots of semi-erotic or revealing clothing, but no real context or reason for it besides (maybe) fanservice? Double weird in what seems to be a permanent winter setting, and triple weird when some characters are described as being "dressed for the cold" while wearing a short that leaves their entire stomach bare. VNs with no sexual content are fine and great, but VNs with this weird halfway approach are...confusing, and send mixed messages about what sort of frame of mind I should be reading this in

Pros;
* Art is nice, about the same standard as Mutiny
* The story is interesting and has some nice writing, and the characters thus far are well crafted. I can remember their names and roles easily, and they are fairly distinct

Cons;
* The music isn't interesting and loops, and there isn't any voice acting (yet), despite an option to change the VA volume
* The art isn't very varied and doesn't really convey any of the story; the storytelling is entirely done through text, which is a shame in a visual novel
* The lack of actual adult content, at least for me, makes the 'adult' parts of the story seem childish
* This is just personal, but while I understand there were reasons for it, releasing a game like this in chapters is irritating. Particularly since the first one ends on a very dull cliffhanger, so there isn't even a feeling of suspense

I'd recommend it because I like VNs and the story looks like its going places, but (perhaps because its only chapter 1) don't expect a lot of depth or content. But DO expect some very 'inconvenient' white mist *wink wink*

It is good although incomplete, I like it without the voice acting since I can imagine the characters voices myself that way however would like a bit less blacked out characters if possible. Moreover I feel that there is some context missing to the events between the heroine and the main love interest as you do not bear witness to for example when the main love interest speaks of their sisters but rather just find out that it somehow happened later in the story. If possible I would like that to change in the future so you get the full story with keymoments without gaps.

I don't usually review games, but there is a very large lack of reviews for this game so I'll give my brief thoughts.
Pros:
-While this is only chapter one, I enjoy the story and it's characters.
-I'm excited to learn more about the world these characters live in.
-I especially enjoy how it sort of ties into one of the developer's older games.
-There are a good number of choices that leads to different outcomes.
-The story telling minigame is also very interesting.
Cons:
-I'm not a fan of paying for pieces of a game(Although know why they have to do it, it still sucks.)
-Ends with a cliffhanger instead of giving you a 'satisfying' chapter conclusion
Overall I recommend it if you want to support the developers work so they can release more awesome Visual Novels.

While I dont generally care much for visual novels, I make an exception for Lupiesoft. They make wonderful stories and make you care about characters just as easily as they can make someone get under your skin.

A lot of visual novels fall into basic anime tropes and fail to make characters actually fleshed out and interesting, since their main selling points are the Nudity and Sexual Content tags. Even without the visuals and sexual bits, I'd still really enjoy the story and characters.

Hopefully since they have most of the art set and the theme, the next part(s) will be ready to publish soon? (maybe for a slightly lower price...?)

It may be a bit steep for a visual novel IMO but I'm totally fine with paying more to support this developer.

Not a single sex scene in chapter 1. No idea if it's planned for later chapters but this is literally nothing but an introduction. Which would be fine, but there has been no updates in months. The missing DLC for their title Mutiny has also still not been released.

I really REALLY like their content, but it seems more and more that this is another case of a creator who just can't follow through. It's GalaxyPink all over again. Wait until the entire series is released, they just don't have a good history in terms of actually finishing their games.

Oh and the creator/artist also tried to scam me for a commission, where they basically didn't do anything for over 2 months and then pretended to be shocked when I refunded the money.

Stay away.
